ValarDoharis:There are indeed people who believe that the unknown gun men who were killing Igbos in Igbo land were Fulani herdsmen, but I don't accept that Igbos are so spineless that they'd let Fulanis come and terrorise them on their Igboland. If true however, it might explain the ops position that white Britons are terrorising him on his Igbo land, and would make me conclude that his hope to get rid of them is like pissing in the wind. |
basilico:That's why you should use your brain and not just believe the stories of the victors. That said, can you explain to me why you do not accept the stories by the victor of the last election and insist on accepting the story of the loser?

Verstappen kicks season's records way out the park.

bemeruca:Wasn't expecting this. Wish you had the intelligence to discuss it, but..... |
EmperorCaesar:Humans should not live by bread alone, so I read the Christian book and the Muslim book because my Buddhist books say, "learn about the gods of the people around you so you can understand them better". That's why you'd see me eating the meat of the white goat killed in worship of Owala, a river by my land in my village, and would be invited to the Ogun festival, though I don't eat dog because dogs eat poo. EmperorCaesar:No, I do not believe, and I definitely do not believe in afterlife as there is no evidence for it. Life came into being many billions of years ago, and we humans do not really know how. What we do is look at the evidence available to us and guess and speculate, when the truth is no one really knows. In fact, I'd go as far as claiming, the beginning of knowledge acquisition is admitting our human ignorance, for that is what would make us ask and knock and seek with all our senses and grow in knowledge and perhaps in wisdom. Unfortunately, we fill the gap in our knowledge with gods. Odd by the way, that you ask me this in this thread in this section. |
basilico:Least we know who told you that.

ch214:Your pain must be immense. Please accept my sympathy. |
ch214:Meanwhile, here you are crying and wailing while I pity and humour you. There are people out there claiming dump is the current president of the United States of America, so you claiming you current president is a criminal is no different and rather pointless.

Would be interesting, considering all the peace talk that's already been done. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peace_negotiations_in_the_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine
|
ch214:This thread is indeed evidence of crying and wailing, and those who read it are intelligent enough to know who's doing it too. I guess your reality is nowhere like the reality I and many others experience. You still seem to be enslaved by the white British, while I gained my own independence a long time ago and have learnt to be responsible for whatever state I find myself in today. Hopefully you'd stop wailing and crying and learn to be responsible too instead of blaming white British for keeping you as their slave in what could best be described as your motherland. Meanwhile, accept my sympathy for the predicament you seem to be in.

IjeBos:Believers choose what to believe, is what I find, and will ignore or twist facts and evidence to confirm their belief, as you might have found in your thread re dump in the religious section.

DomPerignon:They? First I thought you said I blamed Islam, and must apologise for misreading. Who blamed Islam for white Britons being in Biafra? DomPerignon:I'd like to see Biafra too, so long as they remove themselves from current Nigeria land and go form their Biafra elsewhere. They can take my own Yoruba people who want their own nation with them. They both might find cheap land to settle in the Sahara Desert, though I doubt it's owners would have them. |
ch214:Let me know when you stop deceiving yourself and chase anyone out of your imaginary Biafra. |
ch214:So, if they don't leave peacefully you will terrorise them to leave forcefully? Funny how you sing a different tune when Lagosians ask you to leave their Lagos, which makes you not worth listening to at all if you asked me. |
I know it's difficult for "this one" to comprehend, but I'm delighted not everyone imagines like "this one". wiseoneking: |
I take it you intend to terrorise the white Britons to leave, since Biafra has no authority to expel anyone. Makes me wonder what you'd do to Nigerians in your Biafra too. |
You'd think the Christian was preaching Islam.

If I stop subsidising your daily bread, you'd need to pay full price for your daily bread, and whether this favours your or not depends on you. Fact that I'm subsidising your bread means I can negotiate to pay the bread seller less, especially if I'm buying in bulk to subsidise lots of daily breads. This would suppress the profit of the bread seller, which would negatively affect the bread maker, who might rather not sell bread to the bread seller, thereby causing occasional scarcity of bread. So, does this favour the masses? Well, that depends on who the masses are and what the masses value. If the masses are bread sellers, they'd likely make more money, which they might invest in their bread making to eventually make bread cheaper and more readily available for you the daily bread eating masses. And though the privilege would cost you the bread eater more, there'd always be bread for you to purchase. Now for the elephant. Do you know that NYSC is wage subsidy, and that it suppresses your earnings and thereby your ability to buy bread? I can hire corpers who are partly paid by the government so your labour costs me little. Problem is, government would not pay you anything close to what your labour is worth since they buy labour in bulk, and your employment is only for one year since I can rinse and repeat corpers, leaving last year's corpers unemployed and unable to buy bread. Guess the masses need to decide in the end if subsidies favour them. Personally, I think bread subsidies reduce investment in bread making, which makes bread not so easily available for the masses. That said, I think government still subsidises fuel, or the cost to the masses would be higher. I have no evidence for this however, note. |
basilico:Only you would put it in a way that it isn't. If NYT does what Alex did they'd be fined 1T.

basilico:You must be glad he was found guilty then.

PedoBear:Because there are no traffic lights to steal? |
She carries blocks on that hair and in that dress? Guess she could have dressed up for the photoshoot. |
overseasnbeyond:Last time I checked, the government was borrowing and getting CBN to print it money, which resulted in inflation and debt and eroded spending power. You might have noticed this in the exchange rate which now requires a lot more Naira to get a dollar. Rather than letting theft go on so you get crumbs, I'd rather use money to stop the stealing and prosecute the thieves so you get more than the crumbs left over from their stealing, since I don't expect thieves, who haven't shown they are Robin Hood, to give money to the poor in form of food stamps. By the way, natural resources are useless to people who lack the knowledge to convert it into money. It's why we got cheap natural crude oil but import more expensive petrol. |
mbaise1000:I have heard. You told me here and I heard you, but when I asked you for evidence, you provided none and just expect me to believe you, which I refuse to do. So, yes, there is indeed no need you discussing with me if you are unable to provide credible evidence for your claims. |
overseasnbeyond:Nigeria is not US where all income is taxed so they have enough left for both educational allocation and food stamps, and putting the small funds we have into education is helping the children who need support, and the society too by reducing ignorance and poverty. If you can't support your children, please consider birth control or have less sex. Society should not fund your uncontrolled excess. The belows are to show poor we are.
|
Government should feed you stamps with my tax money? Or is it the dwindling oil money they should stamp you with? Personally, I'd prefer that food stamp money go into improving the education and health system. |
PHIPEX:I hope you have heard that buyers should beware of criminals selling land so you don't go buying fake land or fake anything for that matter. But if you haven't yet learnt, I have a bridge to sell. |
