Did you observe his views? They are not honest. He results in insults because he has no explanations for the questions being asked. He could not provide an explanation of the origin of human existence, nor did he provide explanations on how the creator of the universe is not a mystery. He would have just said he didn't know instead of trying to defend his dishonest stand.

Personally, I do not subscribe to believing in something just because we are told, without making an effort to find out if it is true or not. I do not claim I know it all, nor can I prove the mysteries in the world for now.
I am very certain my Lord told you he does not know if he does not but know. Unfortunately, I can't go through the thread to find out.

Simple question: how did you arrive at the conclusion that the mystery of a creator does not exist? Did you just make a guess without a fact? Is this how atheists reason—they just make up any idea for us to accept without proof or facts?
So, if you're accused of a crime, would the police legally throw you into prison without being convicted?
Because you have not done the research to ask and knock and seek so you may may know, it's likely hard for you to consider that others might have done the research so they may know. And you expect the research they may have done to be given to you instead of you doing your own research.

Believers accept made up ideas without proof or facts. Good thing is you are agnostic, which means you will ask and knock and seek until you do know, or you'd be lazy and just believe.

You are not completely right concerning the limitations of our five senses. Our senses can easily give us subjective views of something.
Indeed if you a passive receiver of what your senses perceive perhaps, or a slave to your senses like a certain Adam who's subjective senses informed him that seeking to know would kill him.

Those who first learn to use their senses like Eve did, would know who the master is and who is the slave between one's senses and oneself and would therefore not easily be led.

Temptation of Christ, for Bible readers.

gisevak:
Reading through the links you provided. I would want to know those things those gods created, when and how they do so. And if, by the time I finished reading, I couldn't see any proof there, I would be disappointed. Well, there may be a creator or an infinite number of creators. Maybe those links can prove it.
Instead of asking and seeking and knocking with your own heart and soul and mind so you can prove for yourself and know, you expect to be given so you can receive? Do tell if that does not sound like some who are given a book and therefore believe.

Texts are not to be read as, "by the time I finished reading I should know", and links don't prove things. What you read is for you to consider, then research and learn more and eventually know.

The below is a reminder to self, and may be ignored.

budaatum:
Objectivity in science is a value that informs how science is practiced and how scientific truths are discovered. It is the idea that scientists, in attempting to uncover truths about the natural world, must aspire to eliminate personal biases, a priori commitments, emotional involvement, etc. Objectivity is often attributed to the property of scientific measurement, as the accuracy of a measurement can be tested independent from the individual scientist who first reports it.

Objectivity is a central philosophical concept, related to reality and truth, which has been variously defined by sources. Generally, objectivity means the state or quality of being true even outside a subject's individual biases, interpretations, feelings, and imaginings. A proposition is generally considered objectively true (to have objective truth) when its truth conditions are met without biases caused by feelings, ideas, opinions, etc., of a sentient subject. A second, broader meaning of the term refers to the ability in any context to judge fairly, without partiality or external influence. This second meaning of objectivity is sometimes used synonymously with neutrality.

That poll was clearly and outlier and laughable. Imagine the organization(Washington Post) releasing a poll and cautioning people that it is an outlier. (quote below) If you look at the crosstabs, it says Trump is up ~20 among people under 35. With the abortion rulings, it's laughable.

But it does do a couple of things.
1.) It gives Trump the air of inevitability
2.) It takes away one of the messages of his opponents - that he can't beat Biden.

It's a terrible poll and even more-so terrible for establishment Republicans who had hopes of getting rid of Trump.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/09/24/biden-trump-poll-2024-election/
To be honest, it's sad that any poll has dump and Biden level. However, polls are not elections as we found in the last two where the poll leader lost.

We know magas are more likely to participate in polls, while Democrats bunker down and keep their powder dry till needed.

Let me respond to you as follows since I am short on time finding links to send you: Except for the facts I received, I am agnostic of all gods. Sango and Sopana never claim to be the creators. We are talking about the universe's creator here. Our five senses—sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell—provide us with information about the physical world. However, they are limited to perceiving the observable and measurable aspects of the natural world.
Your senses are not limited when it comes to doing the work to find out how universe creators are created or how many creators are claimed to have created the universe. And that alone should make you do more research as opposed to claiming you are incapable of doing the research.

It's after all not possible that all the creator deities created this one universe.

The problem is Republicans are largely unchallenged in their cognitive dissonance. They can escape to their safe spaces like Fox News where unproven allegations against the son of Joe Biden, means Biden is corrupt and should be impeached but a Judge ruling Trump committed fraud and forcing him to dissolve his companies is meh and thus Trump should be reelected.
They will be challenged in their cognitive dissonance when they lose the next election just like they lost the last election, though basilico is a lost cause who will continue 2000 muling.
Politics › Re: Naira Floating: What Tinubu Shud Have Done. by budaatum: 7:35pm On Sep 27, 2023
Here, by the way, is another suggested solution.

Unfortunately, reducing Naira supply means making people poorer.

Seun:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It2zHSJBZns

During an interview with Arise TV, the IMF rep for Nigeria said that "a lot of the focus" on ending the free fall of the naira "should also happen on the supply of naira, not only on the supply of foreign exchange". He said that there is a need to "tighten monetary policy; to take liquidity out of the system."

He said, "there are too many nairas chasing yet too few dollars. As I have alluded before, in previous conversations.
It is very important to reduce the amount of nairas, reduce the growth rate of money supply domestically in Nigeria."

"In parallel also, fiscal policies should cease to rely on the Ways & Means."

"All the operations of the central bank that are not conducive to reigning in liquidity, phasing out financing of the fiscal deficit of the government, focusing on price stability, tightening monetary policy is going to be needed."

"It's costly - it doesn't come without a price, but it's a price worth paying."

Recall that Sanusi said the same thing and Bismarck Rewane has been calling for monetary tightening for years.

It’s obvious the managers of the Nigerian economy are very wicked and selfish..

They know the right thing to do yet they keep ignoring it..

FG must place an emerging on foreign vacations for the next 5 years and watch the Dollar tumble against the Naira..

FG said ban the importation of all phones above 150k and watch the solar tumble.. Network providers will be directed not to device those phone models..

FG shud ban the importation of all the latest luxury, mid ranged cars for the next 5, then watch the Naira gain momentum against the Dollar.

FG shud ban buying of private jets for the next 10 / 20 years and the effect will favour the Naira..

This like foreign biscuits, furnitures, etc must banned..

And last but not the least, the importation sector must be highly regulated. FG must allocate quotas to all importers…

Everyone is importing whatever they like..

And also ban Alibaba, Amazon shopping form Nigeria..

Pls add yours, make we make Nigeria beta…
I think you completely disregard our ability to circumvent bans on foreign exchange expenditure. You also think Nigerians would patiently watch Tinubu and co send their children to study abroad and seek healthcare, while study abroad and healthcare are banned for the rest of us, or you believe the ban would apply to Tinubu and co.

And you completely ignore the need for foreign investment by foreigners who must export their profit to pay their loans and states that must pay back their dollar loans.

Basically, you presume Nigeria can readopt policies that it had tried in the past and failed at, that China found unprofitable and abandoned and that limit the growth of North Korea and Iran, both who did not ban foreign exchange but had it banned for them.

That said, see here the list of goods you can't import into Nigeria, to show your idea is implemented to a limited extent.

Do you or anyone else have the ability to prove or disapprove that the creator does not exist? You can point to anyone who has the capacity to do so. Why bring biblical Jesus here after I told you that I am agnostic?
The stories of Jesus teach quite a lot, is why I bring it here. One most important teaching of his is the use of the senses to ask and knock and seek instead of thinking you are incapable of using your senses to do the requisite research.

As for a creator, you might as well be asking me to prove to you that the spaghetti monster or Russell's Teapot do not exist. Most would inform you that it is you who thinks a thing exists that should prove its existence. But I shall not bother asking you to since you claim it is merely a belief and not something you actually know.

As for your agnosticism, I am certain it pertains to particular gods and not all gods, unless you are equally agnostic about Sango and Sopona too. Do tell, are you?

Has the diver gone that deep now? Since you know that the diver has not gone that deep to bring the gold, why rush to the conclusion that there is no gold? You have not even gone that deep into the ocean, and neither do you have the capacity to do so. Why conclude? It's highly illogical to hurriedly conclude something that you have not verified.
Now, if only you were agnostic about buda, but I guess you don't know anything about me and are making up things to believe about my capacity and how long I've spent just as you are with gods.

Sir, I have gone that deep myself and do not need to rely on a diver as far as gods are concerned. It's all in books, which you can read if you can be bothered to get your hands on them, which is now so much more easier than when I began because you can now find loads on the internet.

Do you know someone who is agnostic about some views? You're not speaking with a religious person; bear this in mind. Everybody must not be a Christian or other theistic religion before they point out your wrongfulness. Who is making logical guesses here? Someone who says a creator doesn't exist without proving it or someone who says creation doesn't exist without proving evidence, and there are many more of your conclusions. And I choose to be neutral or not to draw conclusions based on those views. I think we currently don't have the capacity to know the truth; hence, I remained neutral.
There is no problem being agnostic especially since you don't have sufficient information about the history and creation of gods. It is however not agnostic nor neutral to believe gods exist.

As for not having the capacity, kindly speak for yourself. Some have not only sought and knocked and asked with their own hearts and souls and minds, they first had Jesus open their eyes too so they can see.

Firstly, this doesn't answer the questions I asked; the answer to the first question should indicate steps to take to find the truth about the gold. I probably expect you to employ the service of a diver to go that deep into the Pacific Ocean. The diver has the capacity to find out the truth himself without employing anybody, while you don't.
Secondly, you have not provided any books or facts that prove 100 percent that creators exist or not. I don't think you can even show or bring such facts or proof forward.
The diver would not return and tell me to believe he found gold. Instead, he'd show me the gold he found so I know he found gold.

And I'm not diving to find gold for you. Do your own diving is what I suggest, instead of not diving at all and believing there's gold deep in the Pacific Ocean.
