basilico:So, you can be charged for murder if there's no body. Or is your new stance forensic evidence is also body? |
bemeruca:Guess si can't make up evidence that doesn't exist so you got to shift from "defending" to "excuses and denying". Gives me hope you might shift so far that your maths stops being racist too someday but I shall not hold my breath. |

basilico:You are embarrassingly lazy. In April 1994, Heidi Allen, 18, of New Haven, New York, was abducted from the convenience store where she worked. Her body has never been found. Brothers Gary and Richard Thibodeau were charged with kidnapping and murder. They were tried separately. Gary was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years to life, while Richard was acquitted.[20] In 1996, Thomas Capano was convicted of the murder of Anne Marie Fahey, his former lover. Investigators did not have a murder weapon or body, nor any evidence that Capano had purchased a gun. He was convicted of first-degree murder in part due to the evidence given by his brother, Gerry, who had admitted to helping Capano dump Fahey's body in the Atlantic Ocean. Sante Kimes and her son Kenneth were convicted of the murder of Irene Silverman, whose body was never found. They were also both suspects in another murder in the Bahamas where the body was never located. Kenneth eventually confessed to both murders but Sante Kimes maintained her innocence until she died in prison in 2014. In 2006, prosecutors in Nashville, Tennessee, had Perry March arrested and extradited from Mexico after he had been secretly indicted on charges of murdering his wife Janet, who had disappeared in 1996. An attempt to have March's in-laws killed while March was awaiting trial led to the arrest of his father, who as part of a plea agreement confessed to burying his daughter-in-law in a pile of brush near Bowling Green, Kentucky, but he was unable to lead police to the body after the intervening nine years. Perry March was convicted in 2006 almost ten years to the day after his wife disappeared. In the Australian no-body trial for the murder of Keith William Allan, evidence from forensic accountants established a motive. The chance police finding of one perpetrator driving Allan's car and the conduct of all perpetrators, in particular mobile telephone records, were also important factors in their conviction. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_conviction_without_a_body |
basilico:I do understand how you'd think I'd do what you do when you don't bother using your brain like I do. |
basilico:The ref blew the whistle and the cup has been awarded and we been training for the rematch in delight of the fact that you choose to waste your resources committing crimes fighting lost causes. May your strength never wane basilico.

Maynman:My word for the day is polysemous. It's for words that have multiple related meanings. Like as sonmvayina noted in this thread but completely ignored in this post. |
jaephoenix:If he can help me too please by being a believing spanking brand new red Ferrari sales person so I can buy with the imaginary million pounds in my bank account. |
Maynman:I wonder if you might see the above as your own understanding, because the author of the book you mention is seen to have; Further, in the "Kings and Singers" passage (80–103)[4] Hesiod appropriates to himself the authority usually reserved to sacred kingship. The poet declares that it is he, where we might have expected some king instead, upon whom the Muses have bestowed the two gifts of a scepter and an authoritative voice (Hesiod, Theogony 30–3), which are the visible signs of kingship. It is not that this gesture is meant to make Hesiod a king. Rather, the point is that the authority of kingship now belongs to the poetic voice, the voice that is declaiming the Theogony. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theogony Also, God Jesus was not paid by Caesar to begin with. Might it not be that the state recognises and appropriates the "established foundational belief system", and use it to "upheld the legitimacy of the state", or more appropriately, of their individual self's? I do often see our politicians seeking anointings. Maynman: ![]() According to the most usual definition, an atheist is a person who maintains that there is no God, that is, that the sentence “God exists” expresses a false proposition. In contrast, an agnostic [in the epistemological sense] maintains that it is not known or cannot be known whether there is a God, that is, whether the sentence “God exists” expresses a true proposition. On our definition, an atheist is a person who rejects belief in God, regardless of whether or not the reason for the rejection is the claim that “God exists” expresses a false proposition. People frequently adopt an attitude of rejection toward a position for reasons other than that it is a false proposition. It is common among contemporary philosophers, and indeed it was not uncommon in earlier centuries, to reject positions on the ground that they are meaningless. (Edwards 2006: 358) |
NNTR:You are appreciated. Thank you. |
basilico:You are woefully failing to manipulate me into letting you waste my time. |
basilico:Next you'd tell me to trust Google more on China news too if you're suggesting I trust a Russian search engine more than Google when it comes to USA news. I do wonder why you'd distrust what Democrats say about you repugnicans though, if you are willing to be so contrary. |
basilico:I don't discuss with liars and stupid idiots. NOV. 11 — Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger orders a hand recount of every presidential ballot. |
HellVictorinho6:Hence do the wise limit themselves to that which concerns them. For every ailment under the sun There is a remedy, or there is none; If there be one, try to find it; If there be none, never mind it. -Serenity Prayer |
basilico:If only you understood what you posted. If the election had been between Biden and a vice president dump who was in the position Pence was on Jan 6, dump wouldn't have been as honourable as Nixon and Pence were.

LordReed:My Lord, basilico can't read. |
sonmvayina:Your question implies the assumption that one must subscribe to something. To wit, my Alma Mata. My subscription is long standing. Another way of considering is, what do I hold as my living philosophy. And that would be my learning. Or shall I say, a previous skill I once had to sit on my lazy ass and read books. I don't table d'hôte any one book holy above all others however. I a la carte instead, taking the best from all. Sonmvayina, what do you subscribe to? You might see the illogicality from my perspective. |
Dtruthspeaker:Really, dt!? Is your name not dliar? |
Dtruthspeaker:You typically made crap up and claimed you saw it you mean. budaatum: |
Dtruthspeaker:Looks like your disdain for square roots extends to research, because just a little research would inform you that buda has never ever been a Christian nor has buda been converted. |
Gerrard59:'Receiving Investments' involves the receipt of information and knowhow and instruction by a large number of organised individuals capable and ready to receive it, which Japan showed it had in its willingness to go kamikazi. China received investments for the same reason of having an educated willing workforce, as did historic USA with its 'willing' unpaid workforce. For black Africa to be rich or at least middle class, we need to be in a position to receive investments and technical knowhow, and unfortunately we aren't at the moment since we do not have a large number of organised individuals capable and ready to receive investments. Gerrard59:It's this that prompted me to respond, as it leaves out why "Chinese are ascending to higher levels", which I've proposed above is a large organised educated willing workforce that is capable and ready to receive investments and knowhow. Gerrard59:The assumption that the world cares to provide another country with manufacturing jobs made me chuckle. Below is Taiwan being anal retentive at moving it's manufacturing jobs to USA that seems to find it more logical to be the world's manufacturer. "The plant’s owner Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the largest chip maker in the world, has pushed back plans to start manufacturing to 2025, blaming a lack of skilled labor. It is trying to fast-track visas for 500 Taiwanese workers. Unions, meanwhile, are accusing TSMC of inventing the skills shortage as an excuse to hire cheaper, foreign labor. Others point to safety issues at the plant." https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/aug/28/phoenix-microchip-plant-biden-union-tsmc Gerrard59:No, it isn't. We just lack that educated willing organised workforce. Gerrard59:I don't think it reasonable to expect an investor to invest in a country to make a country rich. Might be because Adam brainwashed me though, and because I think modern day investors think more short-term. Gerrard59:That is not "how it happened with the Chinese and the West, Gerrard, unless you'd claim the West selling Indian opium in China was making China rich. What's true is China invested in the Chinese by educating themselves to be able to go and steal the investment (information, knowledge, knowhow) from the West, and the West, being greedy for cheap labour in order to maximise their profit sold their investment to China. Gerrard59:Because China had a much longer history to learn from of course. https://www.thetrumpet.com/14006-chinas-hundred-year-strategy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Made_in_China_2025 P.s. I responded to this because of the intelligence therein and the inciteful way it presented.

LordReed:They can run but they can't hide what we all will see. |
Akoko1stooni:I'm not defending Tinubu. I'm just waiting for the US court to whom Ms Angela Liu has provided what she called incontrovertible evidence to announce that it is proven that "President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC presented fake certificates from Chicago State University" or not. |
IjeBos:They are on the Apprentice I think. Telly is money, and maga pays. |
Akoko1stooni:What crap lazy nonsense is this that can't let her wait for the court to say it is proven!? Op, did Angela Liu show you her "incontrovertible evidence" or are you just being insufficiently Obidient?

Obrigardo:I said here that most judges would value their reputations much more than the party that got them their judgeship, and I have not been disappointed yet. Even Thomas, going forward, would need to ensure he is not being partisan or risk being seen as incompetent. |
IjeBos:Just heard this on OAN and laughed. Gov. Kemp has a more important Idalia to deal with.
