They were ignorant, and did not know shame until Eve ate the fruit that was good for gaining wisdom and her eyes opened and she found that she did not die.

But some can't detect who lied because that would require sense use which is forbidden by their Gods.

Trump is the real rino, he has no republican ideals, he only cared about power and he only rode on the emotions of true republicans to get thar power. Have you ever heard of a non religious, non principled republican before?
Yes I have. And its those Barr and Pence you call "true republican", whatever that means, who might have let their religion blind them to what should have been their principles.

A spirit is a no material being!
Believing in something means you ascribe and subscribe to it.
Ascribing to something does not give you the power to then claim what you ascribe to is real and exists!

I used to ascribe to the fact that I had a million pounds in my bank account. Unfortunately I could never find a salesperson who'd swop me it for a Ferrari.

budaatum:
The atheists will say the onus is on the believer, and not on them to prove the impossible. I too think they talk rubbish!

I wonder if you've heard about the million pounds in my bank account. I've had it a few months now, and plan to go to the Ferrari shop and buy a spanking brand new red Ferrari with it. Problem is that the Ferrari salesman will not take my word for it. So I'm thinking of telling him the million pounds is divine and cannot be seen, but he will receive it in his dreams. Yep, that might work. Except last night in my sleep I ate a meal of pounded yam and egusi soup with panla, bokoto, abodi and the most succulent ogunfe meat and washed the whole lot down with one big odeku beer. It was served by 6 of the most beautiful naked women you could ever imagine who rubbed my belly and kissed my lips as I ate. I was so full I could burst! Funny though, I woke up starving and had to eat two eggs on toast to alleviate my hunger!

I just hope the Ferrari salesman does not say, "that's okay, we'll deliver the Ferrari, in your dreams!

Sorry!

All I am saying is that you have no way of knowing.
All you really are saying is there is no way you can know. That you can't use your own heart and soul and mind and being to ask and knock and seek, and you are not aware that some would go as far as first visiting the Jesusoptician to get Jesusglasses so they can see better when they do their knocking, with a hammer.

Caution: Other opticians exist. And knocking tools too!

NairaLTQ:
Think about it: If there is any Creator at all, he would not be made up of matter. If the Creator is not made up of matter, how on earth can you claim you know?
"Think about it if", lol, is like asking me to create a creator in my head and then start believing that the creator I create in my head actually exists. If it were food, you'd be asking me to imagine I ate a 12 plate dinner, and you now ask why I claim I'm hungry.

Matter is not the only method of assessing the existence of a thing. Gravity is not matter, yet not many argue it's existence. Nor do many argue the occurrence of evolution, which some argue its effect, mostly noticeably on matter, is now being recognised in ideas.

A creator does not need to be made up of matter for the creator to exist. It must manifest in some way though, and all gods haven't so far, except in the minds of those who believe the crap they create in their own minds.

Whatever is truly know must have convincing proof: isn't it?
Yes it must. There is convincing evidence to prove that all the gods that have ever been have all been created by human beings.

The question is do you have the ability to see such evidence when it is placed before you?

NairaLTQ:
You know!?
Just as you know that 4+6=10! ?

A 2D Being living in a 2D space swears that he KNOWS that VOLUME of objects doesn’t exist.
Why is that you do not ask me to believe 4+6=10?

Why do you believe you are "A 2D Being living in a 2D space", and thereby limit yourself thus, when you can easily choose to believe you are a multidimensional being living in a multidimensioned universe?

It’s virtually a privilege to know gods don’t exist. It’s akin to how I view “philosophers”. All of them that I’m aware of either came from wealth or they had wealthy patrons. Even Buddha, despite his poverty and “suffering”, was a prince.
To know gods don’t exist, you have to have a full stomach, time, resources, curiosity, intellect, and must be fortunate enough to be in an environment where knowledge is at your fingertips. After all that, you have to be bold enough to say it especially if you’ve been subjected to religious indoctrination like most people.
It is indeed a privilege to be in position to Know the Unknown especially if one was never subjected to religious indoctrination.

KnownUnknown:
Humans barely understand parts of the universe but some want to claim they know or believe that the whole of the universe is because of their gods. It’s not their fault though. If the world is filled with bullshit, you can’t criticize the people drowning in it.
Not everyone is privileged, so those who are would understand how fortunate they are and therefore temper their hubris. Thankfully, Christ taught me compassion when he said "buda, forgive them, for they know not what they don't know".

To wit, buda arrogantly complies.

For the concept of God, you atheists have taken a position based on insufficient convincing evidence to reject the idea or possibility of God existing. You don't lack a belief, you have a negative belief: period
What you can not accept is that there is sufficient information and knowledge out there that shows that all the gods that have ever been have all been created by us humans. And you also can not imagine that some may have bothered to ask and knock and seek with all their hearts and souls and minds so that they actually know instead of believe.

I do not believe that gods do not exist. I know that gods do not exist and never have. I love the Book die though. I'm glad it does exist.

I never denied that insecurity wasn't already there while France was stationed in places like Mali for instance but it was the Malians who begged France to come and save their ass when the Jihadists were about to take Bamako while they were destroying historical sites and burning books important to Mali's history.
Consider:
If Nigeria still used the Great British Pound and if the Nigerian Central Bank, Nigerian me will create insecurity for those who assist GB.

QueenNyakim:
And look how well thats going for countries like Niger, virtually bankrupt, blocked from development loans, and cut off from international trade to grow their country. Feels good man! Free themselves of what?
When I disobey God and eat the fruit he forbids and find out I do not die but my eyes open and I gain wisdom and free myself from slavery in Eden, I expect the god to get pissed off at losing me as it's slave and therefore ensure that from the sweat of my brow shall I eat.

Personally, I would rather be a poor free person than anyone's well fed slave.

I agree but these countries were already politically unstable to begin with.

All of these coups we have seen in the past few years from Mali to Niger are populist movements. Your usual populist decolonize narrative: "We against France and puppet elites in Niger". Most of Niger budget came from international foreign aid which is now gone, virtually a bankrupt state cut from financial system. They have been cut off from development loans from World Bank and IMF. China has stopped working on the Niger Dam. They have no electricity. Skyrocking food inflation etc. Junta obviously didn't think things through, this is why they wont survive under sanctions for 6 months straight before they come running back to the negotiation table.

Same thing happened to Mali. They were crumbling prior to the lifting of sanctions until they promised to give a deadline for a transition back to civilian governance.

Security has only gotten worse in Mali since France was kicked out and there might be a civil war soon since UN was also told to leave that gave Northern Mali most of its food/water/medicine.
Insecurity was there along while France was there as were all those other things you listed, so don't you think they need to kick France out and gain proper independence?

The truth is that Nigeria is ungovernable and will never get better
Actually, it is Nigerians that are unable to govern themselves. Or more accurately, we Nigerians can not govern ourselves. And that's because we have not yet grasped the personal responsibility aspect of governance.

Governing begins with oneself. When I govern myself right and you govern yourself right and other Nigerians govern themselves right, we would govern Nigeria right.

It's not as if those who misgovern themselve can govern others. And nor do I have the delusion that all will learn to govern themselves. But though we are no where on the journey to realise the Kingdom of Nigeria starts within every single one of us, those who master the governance of their self will rule over all in the end, hence my unshakable faith in the great things we Nigerians will do. Together. All of us.

I do lack a belief on the subject of deities because I have sufficient knowledge on the subject of deities to know instead of ignorantly believe.

You may have a belief that ₦10 is in your pocket. But after you put your hand in your pocket and check to see if there is ₦10 in you pocket, you would have no reason to believe if you have ₦10 in you pocket or not because you would know.

Go read Daniel 14. The king believed until Daniel educated him.

TenQ:
Is it untrue that you have the intellectual capacity to hold a position on Deities AND you have taken your own position on it?
Yes it is.

TenQ:
If it is true, you do not LACK a belief about deities!
No it is not true. I do not have any beliefs whatsoever about deities therefore I lack belief about deities.

I have subjected deities to sufficient scrutiny so that I may know about deities instead of stupidly merely having beliefs due to laziness to seek knowledge.

2. Position of Positive Imperfect Knowledge
Examples :
*I believe that Nigeria would still be great
*I belief that Arsenal will win both the UEFA and English Premiership Cups
*I believe in one Deity

This position of belief is positive because you have reasons based on your limited knowledge to take such an optimistic position
The examples you listed are not knowledge but things you have chosen to believe "based on your limited knowledge", which is due to your laziness to go seek more knowledge to reduce your limitations. And the fact that you are positive about your ignorance just makes it much worse, because you will positively be arguing that your ignorance is knowledge and you will refuse to learn.
