And what's the difference between a person who claims to be non-binary/xenogender, and actual transgender people? Is one not just a sub-category of the other, Based, or would you look under my skirt to be certain? |

zendi: Besides, remember he and Merkel were both Govt agents in the former East Germany at the same time. So, it's okay for him to threaten the leader of a country that is putting out the friendliest hand to him in the whole of Europe with his dog because they "were both Govt agents in the former East Germany at the same time"? I guess that should tell you how those with whom he was not "both Govt agents in the former East Germany at the same time" might react then before he bullies them too. Unfortunately, they did not react, and here we are with him invading Ukraine after getting away with other places he's invaded while nothing was done. Thankfully, something is being done now. |

1stGenAmerican: I’m not uncomfortable at all, especially since Musk’s corporations are appropriately regulated and taxed. Looted and washed public funds can’t be compared to documented and budgeted Government subsidies. Dangote and Elon Musk are two different types of men who head two very different types of companies. The US as a whole benefits both directly and indirectly from the advancements made by Tesla and Space X but I can’t say the same for Dangote. Nigeria and USA are two different types of countries too, Gen. And assuming Nigeria would not benefit from its first privately owned refinery is, well, I can't actually think of a word, to be honest. Just the fact that we would import less petrol is a thing to look forward to I'd have thought. And the jobs that would be created and all the other direct and indirect benefits of locally produced petrol and associated chemicals are bound to profit Nigeria. He might even start generating electricity! I'd give him a chance, myself, instead of raining negative on his refinery. It takes quite a lot to build such a thing in a country like Nigeria. He should be commended for trying, or rather, I commend him for trying. |

zendi: No, but where is the bullying? Which distant nation has Putin sent a naval carrier group to overrun? When JF Kennedy blockaded Cuba 1962 to protect his nation from lethal threat, was he bullying the world? Since you've been adult when did you ever see Roosha bullying Finland, except now that Finland has decided to make herself a NATO frontline state against Roosha. Or do you think NATO is coming to Finland to be a loving neighbor to Roosha? I'm not here to defend Roosha, but to voice truth, commonsense, causes and consequences. Don't you think he's bullying Ukraine, and trying to bully Europe? They surely do, and he showed his bully nature dogging Merkel. |

Barring a few European countries, Aussie, NZ, and some states in USA, most institutions would just fire you for being obnoxious and hard to work with. Thankfully, I do live in one of those countries you mentioned, and if you did too I'm sure you'd know to refer to me by my preferred pronoun.

If you attack Britain, NATO will come. Western leaders are desperate to find out how a nuke armed person reacts to being lynched. Would you prefer the world bow to Putin's bullying? |

The long-term chart compares margin debt to S&P 500 selloffs. THAT IS ALL IT DOES. The S&P 500 isn’t adjusted for inflation either.
I’ve been telling you for a year that this margin debt is predicting problems in the stock market, and you people keep wanting me to adjust it away in some form (for inflation, via log scale, etc.) so you don’t have to look at the warning because you don’t like what the warning says. The purpose of this chart is to WARN ABOUT STOCK MARKET SELLOFFS. And now the stock selloff that it has been warning about is happening (started in November). https://wolfstreet.com/2022/05/13/massive-stock-market-leverage-unwinds-amid-brutal-bloodletting/

And no one is calling you a pronoun you haven't asked them to call you. Not even my response was to you unless you, BasedUsername, also wish to be called Obrigado, for which you'd need to inform me. BasedUsername: You don't choose pronouns because pronouns are just words used to substitute nouns and this substitution is done according to context. Yet, here we are discussing people's choice of pronouns. And if we were in an institution, like a workplace, and you insist on calling me by a pronoun different to that which I have informed you I preferred, you might need to go work elsewhere when I sue the workplace for discrimination. |

Obrigardo: English was not my first language and definitely not yours too. So you see how ridiculous it sounds if you called yourself "they" in your mother tongue. It sounds unwell speaking from traditional, medical, and spiritual sense. First. Sorry Obrigado, but English was my first language. I did not get a second language till I was 7. Still, in Yoruba, my second language, we use plural pronouns for those older than us that we would show respect, such that "he told us", would be "they told us", when refering to being told by one's father. I also refer to myself as "we", in certain circumstances, like when representing the Oba Orun. |

1stGenAmerican: In it's rating, Fitch argues that Dangote Industries suffers from weak corporate governance. It says that the existence of a “complex group structure with a large number of related-party transactions” has “a negative effect on operational and financial transparency.”
“We also think it’s a risk that Aliko Dangote, as CEO and main shareholder, has a lot of power over operations,” it added.
Fitch’s very gentle way of saying ‘riddled with corruption’. Probably why Fitch has a special rating of 'AA(EXP)(nga) for Nigeria, though it's probably not as riddled as government owned companies. |

Obrigardo: True confession.
Calling a person THEY because he or she identify as "non binary" pisses me off. It's utter stupidity, instead treat that person for mental illness or Bipolar disorder or some other type of shit I'll treat you first. Asking you to call me "They" is like telling you to call me by my name, but if you don't like it don't call me at all. budaatum: If they had figured anything out, or rather, hadn't confused themselves in the first place, this wouldn't be an issue. Or have you seen a Nigerian child going up to its parents and telling them its gender or sex?
Some years ago, someone sued for the right to self age. "We live in a time when you can change your name and change your gender. Why can't I decide my own age?" he said. You would think he was "kind of delusion from the left" because you'd have failed to see he was making a mockery of the self identifying ideology. Just imagine if I could self identify as a millionaire or the president of Nigeria or a doctor or a pilot - after all, why not - and you might see how ridiculous I find it instead of making out I am in support what of seems to me like a delusion.
That said. On self identifying. “Hello. My name is buda. My pronouns are ‘they, theirs, and them.’” |

Government determines quality of education. Why did government of PMB kept quiet about this since 2015? Government should provide pragmatic approach to the problems on ground since they campaigned to improve on what they condemned in the past. They are all recorded in the aggrement I already posted a link to, along with the stated renumerations. Now get a hold of the Nigerian budget and let me know if it covers what was agreed. Also state the difference between it and what was agreed. You might find that there's a gapping gulf between what is agreed and what was budgeted. And note. The budget is for all levels of education, but is not even enough for primary education, and is no where near what is spent on our stupid petrol subsidy. |

aribisala0: but petrol subsidy money is available by " let there be subsidy". Petrol subsidy is theft, and is the biggest drainer of our resources, and it's not true that "petrol subsidy money is available", unless you mean, available through borrowing that we spend billions servicing. Cancel petrol subsidy and budget the money into our education system, is what I would propose, but Nigerians, being what we are, would likely get onto the streets and demonstrate against it. I'm sorry I can't respond to your assumed opinion of me. |

The 2009 ASUU-FG Agreement, which can be downloaded from link below, is as unworkable as incompetent people saying "Let there be light"! There's no way Nigeria would find the money required barring selling the universities or charging students so much that most wouldn't afford to be lectured. And if the money is found to pay the lecturers, the students are bound to feel cheated considering the sub par education they are given. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2013/10/FGN.ASUU-INITIALED-AGREEMENT-JAN.-2009.pdf |

BBC did such a harrowing Job that I felt I was going to hell when told I'd be going to Nigeria. We travelled by ship along the West Coast of Africa, visiting lovely fruity smelling ports along the way until we arrived at stinky Apapa. "When would we leave here", I asked, only to be told this was our destination, home. And it did not improve much on the way to our abode, as people sleeping by the gutter at Iddo seemed like dead people on the street. 15 years, was my sentence, but I'm at least still alive pledging to my country Nigeria, and hoping we can solve our issues with our brains instead of in blood. |
