Change4dbeta:
Story. What about FG selling crude oil to modular refinery operators at subsidized prices.
Still subsidies, which suppresses price, and discourages investment.

Remove current subsidies for pms importers and modulars will become profitable since they would not incur transport costs that importers incur.

Remove price controls too so they can sell at market price. Price at pump will initially go up, but increase in investment chasing profit will soon bring it down.

Other countries like Saudi Arabia and co refine crude oil and sell at subsidized prices. Why is ours so different?
The difference is, we are incompetent while Saudi Arabia is competent.

How will the operator of the modular refinery sell at at a loss if he is getting the Crude free? The crude covers the losses and leads to profit.
And where is this free crude coming from?

So depending on the situation, I will plead guilty for a crime I did not commit as long as it gives me hope.
As for this, I just have to shake my head at you because I can not see what hope you'd get from pleading guilty to a crime you did not commit.

Perhaps if we name the crimes you'd reconsider.

First on the list is rape of a minor. Let me know what hope you get from pleading guilty to raping a minor you never raped. Then consider pleading guilty to a murder you never committed and let me know the hope you receive.

Like I said, sometimes you will find yourself in a situation where pleading guilty is the only reasonable thing to do.
And as I said, sometimes. But assuming a Jan 6 insurrectionist pled guilty to an insurrection they did not commit is what a brainless person would claim because it just isn't the only reasonable thing to do.

You yourself have repeatedly claimed here that Jan 6 was not an insurrection, and I'd expect you to defend that thought till the day you die, but if you ever decide to change your mind and plead guilty to insurrecting on Jan 6, please do mention me so I don't miss it.

So sometimes there are some situation one will find himself, his lawyer will advise him to take the guilty plea.
Simple question, ben. Would you plead guilty to a crime you did not commit just because the lawyer you hired and pay advised you to?
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Democrats Take Control Of Congress by budaatum: 9:52pm On Mar 05, 2022
benalvino3:
Hmmm.

I don't think you understand. There are people who are alive today because they pleaded guilty for a crime they did not commit.
For a lesser crime than the one they committed or might be found guilty of, usually.

If you commit first degree murder and feel the evidence is against you, I'm sure even you'd be smart enough to plead guilty to second degree, in Texas.

benalvino3:
A man charged with murder pleaded guilty for the crime and 20 years later, new evidence and DNA tech proved he was innocent.
And it does happen a lot, but still a tiny percentage of convicts, and it's disingenuous to claim that is the case with the guilty Jan 6 insurrectionist!

benalvino3:
So sometimes there are some situation one will find himself, his lawyer will advise him to take the guilty plea.
Sometimes, Ben, but likely not for Jan 6..His lawyer will have advised him to take the guilty plea only because of the compelling evidence presented against him when charged or they'd have left his faith to a jury!

Or perhaps you don't reckon the lawyer has a reputation to uphold. I bet you wouldn't hire a lawyer who tells his clients to plead guilty to crimes they didn't commit. Or would you not check client reviews before choosing your lawyer, Ben?

Too much special interest rests on it for that, and if money was his problem I'm certain Marjorie and Gops would have gladly chipped in and crowd funded for him, though I'm certain drumptghf wouldn't so as not to implicate himself by association.

It. Has to do
A plot to kidnap a governor... Someone rushed to plead guilty, he must have gotten a good deal but as it stance... The fbi is more guilty in entrapment.

So all the examples of guilty plea that are phony will make you wonder if the FBI are making crap up again. So till they indict others with hard evidence for seditious conspiracy... This is another BS to change the talking point or mockery people give them for no indictment of sedition.
Somehow, I feel that if you are charged with a crime you did not commit, pleading guilty will be the last thing on your mind regardless of the cost of defending yourself, but please inform me how wrong I am about you so I can conclude that most people are not weaklings like you.

I do not think I can read it slowly enough to see where "easy to steal" is given for a reason the Onagadori hens are facing extinction.

In fact, what I see is that they are "listed as endangered", which means they are protected and therefore will be much harder to steal. But please, do read it slowly for me and highlight the relevant bits so I can be educated.

Ask Cohen why he hires Clinton's lawyer when he was a trump guy.

Why did he pleade guilty for a non crime and then say it's trump that told him to commit that crime?

The people who were going after him must have gotten to his head.
Cohen is a lawyer. He knows the difference between a crime and a "non crime", and was smart enough to hire a lawyer who worked in his own interest. After all, if Cohen lied it would cost him.

But of course, your kraken excuse will be more valid to you than the truth.

This post shows the gibberish of your mind.

Clean it up some and I might respond to it.

benalvino3:
When you start to take a legal stand against a judge for not letting go a case that was dropped by the DOJ for setting up an innocent man... That's far from a system that works.

Obama was told Hillary is cooking up a fake Russia collusion crap... He knew and let it happen which his plants from different part of the Justice system were handling.

If the system works, how come the special cancel called to do the investigation was not actually the one doing it? Instead it was filled with Clinton gangs grin

I doubt Obama was in office during Flynn, but I guess your Obama obsession wouldn't see that, just as you fail to notice Trump nominated judges rule against him lots of times

Fact is, Flynn was let go, which shows the legal system in America works a lot better than you seem to think.

They made up the crime, harassed him and bankrupted him. And as you mentioned wanted to go after his son. They took him before a corrupt judge who had a huge conflict in the case when he first pled guilty and that Judge Contreras had to recuse himself.
This is unforgivable corruption. The other judge stayed on the case refusing acquittal even when the DoJ had withdrawn on the sham case.
Ive also looked at rulings by second judge and you can tell clearly he was in on the plan to get rid of Flynn.
Budaa cant see that, probably typing this from a pub.
The beauty of the American legal system is you can appeal instead of plead guilty to a crime you never committed, and if the prosecutor acted improperly you can even sue for loss and hurt and damage.

Always diverting when you cant provide a coherent answer. Murder is not the only crime that sends people to jail. Ben gave an example of an overzealous prosecutor.
Ben also gave examples of overzealous defenders who refused to plead guilty to crimes they did not commit, but of course you wouldn't see that, and neither would Ben who posted it.

You are ignorant. An attorney bills you by the hour. If you have to attend the hearings some hundred kilometers away You will pay for his flights and accommodation full board too not in some lousy hotel remember.. When the prosecutor urges you to plead guilty in return for a reduced sentencing Else the case drags on for as long as possible. The easier option is to plead guilty.
But then its Budaa.
A reduced sentence for a crime I committed, perhaps, but sedition is not a reduced crime last time I checked, and is the most serious crime a Jan 6 participant has been found guilty of so far.

Only an ignorant person will plead guilty to a greater crime than they committed bas, and a prosecutor can not urge you to plead!

The article gave a reason so you don't need to make up one!

The Onagadori breed is currently listed as endangered, with only around 250 birds being kept by 250 breeders. One of the reasons for this may be that the hens are poor egg layers (around 25 eggs per year).
