obehi247:And yet, I have boldly written what I wrote. And because of the limits of your own ability to understand, it must seem like rubbish to you, which is why we are spending time here educating you so you will be less deeply shocked and surprised. |
obehi247:My emancipation should inform you that I am not your slave to be commanded to do your wish. |
obehi247:Obe, you can not be asking to be enslaved and think reasonable people will see you as emancipated. If you are emancipated, use your emancipation to emancipate your country instead of trying to sell yourself and it back into slavery. I have faith in you. |
triplechoice:Please do not blame yourself. Know that even while responding to him, others read and learn too. I have benefitted from your posts, and I can assure you that many others will read and benefit too. |
obehi247:It's a pity you choose to believe this. You are like those who claim everyone is corrupt just so you can justify your own corruption. Admit that you may be a slave but know that some of us must be your master. |
obehi247:Be responsible. Admit your brain is empty. |
obehi247:And that's what we are here educating you is a wrong belief to have. However good it may seem being enslaved to the colonialists, self rule is so much far better than being a slave. Just go read about ignorant naked enslaved Adam, and compare it to what he went on to achieve after being liberated from slavery by use her own senses Eve. Some of us would rather starve to death than be slaves.
|
obehi247:I would say that those like you wishing to sell yourself as a slave to Britain are the one's without brains. Hopefully you can see how such people can never ever be the equal of buda in any way whatsoever. |
triplechoice:I must admit that as far as this individual is concerned I have given up. It's just amusing seeing him open a thread to try to be irresponsible for his own starvation, and I could not let him get away with deceiving those who don't already know him especially since he changed monickers. |
obehi247:Actually, I'm acknowledging your compliment. You after all do not know my equals. |
obehi247:I don't think you get it at all. Nigeria has "60 years of national blackout with abundance of gas, coal and water" because you and I have not yet learnt to say "let there be no blackout with abundance of gas, coal and water". But that's no reason to then sell yourself off into slavery. We may be 60, but its never too late for us to go and learn how to say "let there be no blackout with abundance of gas, coal and water" so that there will be "no blackout with abundance of gas, coal and water". But if we refuse to become responsible and do not learn, expect "120 years of blackout with abundance of gas, coal and water" because no white person is coming to give you what you refuse to work for. |
obehi247:I think you should be responsible and admit that my writing is way beyond your level of comprehension. There is no shame in admitting you are learning from your superiors and I do benefit from educating you since an educated you means I am surrounded by fewer ignorons.
|
Ayo081:Pity. I was hoping you'd occupy my time but now I'm left dealing with those who are less right thinking than you are. Please know that I am very willing to go as far as you are willing to make me. Conversing with right thinking people is a pleasure, and considering how few there are, I should pay you for the priviledge. |
Ayo081:Lol. |
Biodun556:This is true, but I know you will disabuse them of such nonsense. Military serves at their pleasure and I can't kick them out, but however bad a civilian government might be, their 4 years will one day be up. |
obehi247:If your life matters you would not be selling yourself into slavery. Hopefully, you realise that "endsars and the military and police brutality" is not a dish served to everyone. I mean, its not as if we are all only at your juvenile level of existence that "endsars and the military and police brutality" is the concern. |
Ayo081:That is not a question! You must not let buda lazily get away with an explanation that you do not comprehend! |
obehi247:This is where you show how little knowledge you actually have. How can you "have a government first", when it is you the people who elect those who govern you? Oh, I get it. You want to import your government from UK because you are too useless and irresponsible to govern yourself. Thankfully, you are in the minority. Most of us do not consider ourselves to be irresponsible and useless like you. |
obehi247:My own Nigeria life matters to me and to those who I positively affect. You should make your life matter too instead of thinking your life will only matter to those you enslave yourself to.
|
triplechoice:You telling me you noticed this about him from this one thread and his new moniker? You should check his previous monicker to see he expects to reap where he refuses to sow! A better candidate for karma I have not seen. |
obehi247:You make me laugh. For starts, you would not believe I don't need a visa to go to this your UK, and I have visited the lovely Gibraltar already, twice. This thread is not about you visiting UK, but about you claiming you are better off being a slave to Britain in Nigeria. Black people in UK would be insulted if you claim they are slaves to whites in UK, but I guess since you likely never been you wouldn't know this. They are yelling Black Lives Matter, while you are begging to be enslaved as if your own life does not matter. Shame on you, I say, for feeling so worthless. |
BlackyOne:You should not expect nonsense people to reap what sensible people reap. In the Nigeria where some are starving on a paltry ₦30k a month, some earn ₦2m a month and not from doing politics or allahakbar amen. |
obehi247:I don't expect a constitution to give me progress. Progress of myself and my country is a thing I must work for if I want it, instead of thinking some paper or white person will give it to me while I sit lazily on my ass. obehi247:I have already asked my elders, though not being so young myself, I also have my own personal experience. In the 60s, Obanikoro that is now in the middle of Lagos, did not have electricity, and by the 70s, when the transformer on Bola Adewunmi blows up, which happened often, we lived in darkness. Electricity did not get to my own Ifon Osun until the late 70s. Getting out of Lagos in the 60s was a nightmare. There was no express called Ikorodu Road, so it was single file from Yaba to Ikorodu, and getting to Ibadan was deadly. Ikorodu Road as you know it now was built in the 70s, and the express road to Ibadan was much later. But all that is rather irrelevant. You just go check the lifespan expectancy of Nigerians before decolonisation and compare it to now to see if things have improved since then. |
tsdarkside:Let me tell them. Black weakling, please get lost!
|
Ayo081:No, buda is not a Christian. buda does not live by only one book nor does buda believe and tremble like a demon, which is what most Christians seem to do. buda is not a this or a that. buda is simply buda. |
HedwigesMaduro:That's not what I said! I do not sit on my ass waiting for manna from heaven. I get off my ass and go up to heaven to grab it for myself, and to be honest with you, most if not all achievements of mine were achieved through hard work. I studied hard to learn my trade and pass my exams, and I worked hard at my jobs and got appreciation and pay rises and promotions for so doing and now enjoy a comfortable pension commensurate with the effort I put into acquiring it. One hardly achieves much without putting in the effort, and only lazy people expect to reap where they have not sown. If I had wanted to be a footballer I'd have trained as hard as Ronaldo instead of praying Man U signs me for sitting lazily on my ass. The following pretty much applies to me.
|
tsdarkside:We should deport them out of Nigeria without caring where they go. |
obehi247:You need to learn to speak for yourself and say you are under slavery. Some have learnt to emancipate themselves from the slavery you seem to be under. As for the "1960 independent constitution", you should move forward and progress. Nigeria has had numerous constitutions since then, so I do not see why you'd be living in a 1960 you likely weren't even born in. |
abhosts:Hong Kong is different to Nigeria. Hong Kong changed from British rule, which was relatively light, to Chinese rule. The equivalent would be Nigeria handed over to Mali. The self governance bit is however true, and we just need to learn to self govern, which starts with every individual governing themselves instead of irresponsibly messing up themselves and Nigeria. |
