Image123:buda answered Image, “If you knew who it is that baked the bread, you would have asked and would have been given you the Bread of Life.” All the same, see your name on the new dough. We know you know not what you say.

Image123:The bread that God baked and all, and the fact the Lord created a freezer. And on that note, and because through you the Lord has ministered, it's bake time! Onions top left excluded.

thebosstrevor1:In my tribe we say "ile ni a ti ko ẹsọ re ode". The Christian version would be "of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaketh". I am saying what abounds in my own heart, and I pressume you are saying what abounds in your own heart too and not that which you believe abounds in the hearts of others, unless you are a mind reader. Of course there are people to whom ethnicity is more important than competency. You are claiming to be such a person yourself so it would be ignorant to claim there aren't many who might reason like you seem to be reasoning, but are you suggesting that I too should reason brainlessly and place ethnicity above competency? There are ignorant people in my tribe and in my village and even in my family, but you would not ask me to become ignorant and make ignorant choices too, or would you? The Olufon of the Orolu Kingdom died recently and we are seeking a new Olufon, and while I might personally wish we could elect someone instead of choosing from amongst one family in the Ile Ọba as is tradition, I can assure you that while many will be put forward from Ile Ọba, we will still insist on a competent person from amongst them because not doing so will cost us in our community. Change starts with each of us as individuals. We can sit here claimimg everyone else will place ethnicity above competency, but if I don't place ethnicity above competency and instead place competency above ethnicity, and if you too place competency above ethnicity, and if a few others join us and place competency above ethnicity, competency just might end up winning on the day, but if we refuse to change how we think and reason and keep doing what we've been doing, we'd keep getting exactly the results that we deserve. Just note that we do not seem to like the status quo, and perhaps should consider changing that (ethnicity) which abounds in our own hearts so we may be able to change that which might abound in the hearts of others. Please know that the sole purpose of this thread is to begin with oneself and change how oneself thinks and reasons and what one does as a result, but we are aware that not everyone would reason and change how they think. Such people can go on doing things as they have always done things and keep getting the results they've always gotten, or they can learn and change what they do so they can get different results. The choice is your's, thebosstrevor1, or rather, their's, as will be the consequences of what it is that you, or rather, they, do. |
basilico:Are you are admitting what you posted was false and not worth considering? |
Seems like Kanu is valued more in Brazil than amongst his own people some of who are here devaluing him! |
Abedfff14:Thank you Sir. May what is upstairs profit all regardless of ethnicity, tribe, religion, gender, sex, colour, etc and even political party, so that we elect competency over them all. |
thebosstrevor1:It pleases me to know that ethnicity is important to you because you live in a multicultural society. I myself who also lives in a multicultural society can not say ethnicity is more important to me especially where competency is of significance as it ought to be when electing rulers, and I can not possibly be the only one for whom competency is more important than ethnicity and who can overcome the ignorance of ọmọ wa ni ẹ jẹ o se if ọmọ wa lacks the required competency. After all, if our ethnic ọmọ does it incompetently it is we their ethnic that will suffer most from a bad reputation of incompetence. Thanks for letting me know I believed wrongly regarding your ethnic self. I have adjusted my belief but will continue to labour on making you place competency above ethnicity. |

thebosstrevor1:For all you care ethnicity is very important to you. You'll be surprised however to find that some people care more about competency than ethnicity, and my hope is that those people will not stand by and let those for whom ethnicity is more important decide the next election. As for being on ground, we live in a global world these days, which is why we can influence elections wherever we may be, and if I tried hard enough, I just might be able to educate you on the folly of ethnicity over competency so the former is less important to you than the latter. I'm however aware I can't convince or educate everyone, note, because some people are just plain uneducatable, though I'm inclined to believe you are moveable. You can let me know if I'm wrong so I can change my belief about you please. |
Abedfff14:I wish we could so easily understand. I have my elders asking me to agree that Fulani is the problem in Nigeria even though these same elders know that it is their own Yoruba kindred that will kidnap them if they visit their village. Funny thing is, they are from Ife, and will start squabbling that their Ife must be the capital of Oduduwa Republic when they clearly know Ibadan, for one, would never agree, not to talk of Oyo. |
benalvino2:The situation you described was not "the governor not obeying the law"! |
NigeriaZoo:Where you live is irrelevant. If you are Nigerian and you call Nigeria a zoo you must be the animal, and I can tell you are by your animalistic behaviour and by the name you've given to yourself. |
The difference between us is we think being religious is bowing down to worship God, which they too used to do but now understand that worshipping God is "Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth", and if you do these things, you will indeed surely be blessed. When you get overseas, UK, for instance, you learn that manna does not fall down into your laps from heaven, but that you must work for your own manna yourselves like they have learnt to do. They accomplish this by eating the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that we refuse to eat for fear that we shall surely die on the day that we eat, despite reading that Adam and Eve did not surely die, but found it good for gaining wisdom, and their eyes opened, and they went on to live for 900 or so years during which they populated the earth with what culminated in you. The day will surely come when we too will stop believing and trembling like demons and use our God given senses instead.

benalvino2:Eisenhower deployed the National Guard to uphold the constitution and the order of the Supreme Court, which is very not the case in which you are asking the National Guard to be deplored here! The Governor is bound to obey the order of the Supreme Court or the President would, should and must deploy the National Guard to ensure the Supreme Court is obeyed! |

NigeriaZoo:A zoo animal telling free buda to get into a cage with him. You are very funny! |
NigeriaZoo:I suggest you stop paying for my data so I can clear off. But until you do stop, I'm obviously here to stay, zoo. |
TripleOh7:As in, how about educating ourselves to not be stupid and ignorant to be fighting "intractable ethnic warfare" that is the main obstacle to our progress? After all, if I were not stupid and ignorant, ethnicity would not be what I'm warfaring about. I guess you've pointed out the initial step, TripleOh7, the forest in our individual eyes that blinds us to the twigs in the eyes of others. If I cure my own blindness, and everyone cures their own blindness, we will all see clearly eventually, so as Naptu2 would say, It begins with me. Me, in this case being each individual becoming responsible for the tending of their own forest. And that is the challenge, as you've rightly pointed out, since most don't know their forest blinds them. |
Abedfff14:It is a slow process, Abedfff. One that requires long suffering. So do not despair. Be strong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjx-gLLo2ww |
NigeriaZoo:I guess there's no point calling you a zoo animal. budaatum: |
sanpipita:I think this discussion is way above his head as he obviously does not have a clue what he's talking about and would never admit he does not know so he learns. |
Ibime:Drumptf never had a lapdog at the DOJ. The supposed perfect people he hired ended up being all Democrats, apparently. |
benalvino2:The fact you say you are just catching fun here makes it pointless seriously discussing with you, but your catching of fun should not make you lazy. Did you fail to note the National Guard can be deployed to defend Federal Laws? It was posted in response to you, if you bothered to read it at all! |
With no election I guess bubu can just remain in office and do third term, right? We better hold election if thats not your desire. |
KayCee92: budaatum:Poor projection of yourself, don't you think? |
basilico:But in your own opinion, and despite all the evidence that buda has presented before you here, "thats your usual source", bas? I mean, how could I possible trust that you can even use your eyes after such a statement, not to talk of what is seeming like your inability to make sense? Is this the "usual source" you've seen buda post? What could possibly make you make a comment you ought to know is untrue? Are you practicing the art of lying perhaps? |
