kay1one2: Moses never fought any war! Never had a sword! There were rules of engagement at the time which the israelites played by! Terrorism is in full force today because of islam! If the Jews whom the law was given to understood it well enough to not continue past those actions or scenarios don't you think terrorists understand islam and the quran well enough to keep carrying out terrorist acts till today?! Sure, Hitler too. Aha, I never knew there was a gentleman's agreement about carrying terrorism beyond certain time frames . |

winner01: The word christian means (Christ-like or people like Christ)...Christ Jesus is the only perfect being to have ever walked on the surface of the earth, no sin was found in him and I'm sure ur koran dosent say otherwise in that aspect.
So basically Jesus Christ is our model. And so its funny whenever a terrorist claims to be christian.....Jesus christ (the Son of God) conquered all his adversaries in the spirit and encourages us to do the same..Even when they came to arrest him, a disciple drew the sword to defend him and he condemned that act..We don't even engage in self-defence because God is our defence and whatever is settled in the spirit will manifest in the physical.
Mohammed on the other hand is the perfect model for muslims, he claimed to be the "last and best prophet", FOUGHT WARS even though y'all claim it was defensive, performed no miracles (an evidence to show that his spirit was not of God), engaged in sexual scandals, promises several virgins in "paradise" (I'm sure u know that ur body returns to dust after u die and your soul to heaven or hell and your spirit goes to your creator, and the spirit exists as neither female or male in paradise) and the devilish inspiration of the sharia law, encourages polygamy which leads to violence in several cases, and several hate verses against "disbelievers" amongst others.......I see no reason why the real muslims won't follow in the steps of their model...muslims defend themselves and their god at the slightest provocation as seen in the case of the charlie hebdo saga and all over the world. On the lightest note...Then I wonder what the Old Testament is still doing in the Bible . The Bible, just as the Koran has its fair share of barbarism and mindless violence. I believe they all should be relics of our evolving consciousness. Not guides. You are no Muslim or Christian, so to speak. You're a human being. One really beautiful culture shock I experienced was seeing lots and lots of Hausa Christians - in GH. It was really weird in a funny way. But it was a lovely reminder too. As babies, we all come in here as BLANK slates. But after years of conditioning and brainwashing, we now have labels for ourselves. Christian, Protestant, Orthodox, Shiite, Sunni, etc. Bro, you are God's beloved child too. And if he wants to talk to you, he won't do so in the words of dead sages and prophets. He will talk to you NOW. He is a LIVING God right? |

kay1one2: Call them conquests. Did you take time to study the origins of those conquests? The start was when the israelites first left egypt and asked for permission to cross through those cities to the other side for their journey. They were denied and that led to the battles as the israelite community would have been destroyed if they were leftt in the desert! All other battles of the israelites were to a huge extent self defensive because at virtually every point in time, the philistines were trying to route them from their land and take them as slaves which they succeeded on various occasions. These were battles amongst nations. Conventional warfare amongst soldiers. If nigeria decides to go to war with cameroun today, thats conventional as long as it is about our borders. Islam is not fighting for a border. It wants to destroy as much as it can! Bro we were talking about terrorism. But now that you have decided to shift the goal post...in the middle of the match. No wahala. So if I demand to pass through your living room, and you refuse. That's enough justification to kill you right? And to bust your bubble, several of the states allowed him free passage BUT he wheeled around later and ANNIHILATED them. As a commander, most of his actions were tactically sound. He eliminated the people in his rear so that he won't eventually be attacked from behind. And unleashed maximum terror on populations who resisted him. Well, so that others will surrender instead of fight. When his men were ambushed at AI and slaughtered. He had to act quickly, to reestablish his invincible reputation, lest all his carefully calculated PR efforts became undone. But the there's no friggin way you can morally justify his actions. Moses was a brutal, ruthless bloodthirsty warlord who wanted results at any costs. Finally, instead of blaming Islam, just realise that humans, at our current level of knowing, are quite divisive & grabby. And would use any available means to confer legitimacy on their greed and egomania. So religion comes in quite handy. Who dares question the gods? |

kay1one2: You either don't have a tv or its broken. Isis alone has committed more terrorist acts than most terrorist organisations put together! You're right, I haven't watched a TV in quite a while. But kindly note that history runs way beyond 1999. By the way, who defines who a terrorist is? When the Native American population was decimated, was that not terrorism? When the US rained bombs in Iraqi, was that not terrorism. Beyond the news those smartly dressed people on TV feed you. Sometimes you have to think for yourself too. Heard of the Crusades, or the Inquisition? You should Google them. How about the Atlantic slave trade? Good. Just saw a nice comparison on the web about the different death tolls. And here are the figures: Atlantic slave trade = 16m deaths The Inquisition = By some accounts, 3k-5k (and the most horrific deaths possible)(One of the most nauseating threads that made FP last year, had Inquisition torture devices on display) The Crusades = 3m Terrorist acts since year 2000 = 107,000Go figure. |

kay1one2: R.etard! This was conventional warfare! Not guerrilla like terrorists carry out! Thanks you. Had to turn on the gen, battery was running low... As promised, here's David's style of conventional warfare: 1 Samuel 18:27: David rose up and went, he and his men, and struck down two hundred men among the Philistines. Then David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full number to the king, that he might become the king's son-in-law. Quite the conventional dowry I must say. Interestingly, the first two examples were carefully picked, because they were not battle kills. Those were murders. Not that murder was alien to Uncle Moses, first, there was the Egyptian. And several other accounts throughout his life. Even, at some point, he had 3,000 of his own people murdered (Exodus 32:28). Most of the battles Moses, Joshua and David fought were offensives...in their murderous quest for the promised land. And Expansion. You just jejely dey your house, person go come kill you, say na God promise am your house . Bros, reason am. |

kay1one2: Who didn't push followers to suicide bombing or beheadings! Moses... Exodus 32:27-29: And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. Joshua... Joshua 8:22-25: ...all the Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword.
And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai. David... Be back shortly, will find you non-combat slaughters for him too. |

Bro, just take it that its the nature of religion to be divisive. I believe more terrorist acts have been committed in the name of Christianity than Islam. In contemporary times, Islam just has a PR problem . |

One word: STATUS.
You are non-verbally reassuring him that you are 'loyal'.
Humans, like most other primates, have social structures that are very hierarchical.
And for your safety, your brain applies IMMENSE pressure on you to always defer to people who you perceive to have a higher social rank.
In the present context, you could, maybe lose your job. But aeons ago, when the strongest was the law - you would be courting a mortal injury or banishment from the tribe. |

charles009: Hey guys,
I got married to my wife last December, we have been living happily. But last night, events took a bitter twist. She woke me up 2.09am today and started raining abuses on me. Be for I could talk, she smashed my phone on the floor.
The question is why is she angry? She read an exchange of sms between me and a certain girl. I stead of her asking questions, she went extreme.
I don't visit her phones and I expect her to do the same. Am still asking how she managed to get the password.
Though she has left the house this morning with some of her baggage, I am determined that I am never going to allow her enter my house again.
Now I ask?? Is it right for her to breach my privacy and get into my phone? Next time, use Vault https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netqin.ps&hl=en |
