Hello elders,

There is a dependant that her employer is ready to issue her CoS for her to switch to Tier 2. But from the contract signed the salary is £9.5 which is not up to the £10.10 required or £20,480.

My question now is, how is it possible for her to submit her application without been rejected?

Can she take up another job which pays her additional salary to cover the remaining part of the salary?

Note : The job is a care job.

Please advise on the best option.

For those who have experienced similar situation.

When UKVI contacts an employer, what exactly do they ask for?
Do they inform the employer that abc applied for study visa? Or do they just go straight to confirm your employment status.

Secondly, if you submit a reference with contact of the person giving the reference, is it the contact they will contact or the one on the letterhead of the company.

Do you actually think UKVI have the time to call your employer? Do you know how many people /application submitted daily?

This is a PBS visa, and they only do tick boxes. I won't say more than that.

I went there in person to ask for my money and I was told am going to receive a letter by post, say from there we go know the next step.

The funny thing is the name of the person who claimed scam is a staff of allianz insurance from LinkedIn search.

Be careful about it. There are thieves in the UK as well. I lost 2 of my bank account in a day cause some tried to recall the money paid back after order has been completed. Story for another day.

There is supposedly a new visa class coming up this spring, The Scale up Visa, where you just need to earn up ;Dto £33,000 while working in an organisation that qualifies as a scale up company(a company with revenue or employee growth of at least 20% over last 3 years). It is an unsponsored route i.e you don't require sponsorship from the company just like the global talent visa and of course it counts towards ILR.

5 years work visa = ILR (student visa is not a work visa so not included, PSW Not included as well )

10 years legally in UK = ILR (time spent as a student will count and so will PSW )

If no company is ready to sponsor, then some people stay on student visa and see how they can drag studying for 10 years. Not a cheap options sha because school fees money is not beans but its how some people have gotten ILR especially those who start from A level or first degree

What if someone is able to secure a job that is paying like £26,000-30,000/annum. Do you still need the sponsorship? I read somewhere that even if you don't have a sponsor, so far you're earning certain amount, you qualify for renewal.

Then I asked him to send an offer to the seller. He did then gave me a copy of the lawyer in charge, then I asked my lawyer to get in touch with the sellers lawyer. Guess what? The agency fee was actually 2% from the real owner. I just told the agent, Oga have got nothing to pay you again and even if I do náà just compensation. You need to get small craze for Lagos.
