EmeeNaka: no, just standard. I applied on 3rd of May, but I have not got any decision. The twist is, all the people I know who applied after I did, all have got decision even up till 11th of May and they all did Standard Normal turnaround time is 8 weeks if you did standard. But I have heard of a similar case you presented. Do paid call and do as if you just want to confirm if everything needed was submitted. 😂😁😄. Your file fit Don go enter spam mail and they forgot it in there. Although, the response will be, you need to wait 8 weeks but then, they've found your record where it is hiding. |

Temi231: Did you get any response on this. My spouse is in the same situation. We need a transit visa but there is no available dates for Netherland.
My question now is what does it take to get schengen visa in the UK for transit purpose Do we need all the plenty document like hotel for just single use of transit? Or can we just put purpose is for transiting in Netherlands
Abeg make una put mouth. Thanks Even if you put purpose as transit. You still need to attend an appt for biometrics /submission , except you've done biometrics in the past. But still, you still need an appointment to submit your Docs. Try less visited countries. Estonia Greece Latvia. Change location to less busy embassy. Belfast Edinburgh. |

semmyk: There're couple of options if proof of English is required. See the YouKay gov site. For HCA - https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/knowledge-of-english - You’ll usually need to prove your knowledge of the English language when you apply, unless you did this in a previous successful visa application The keyword is previous. The key phrase is previous successful visa application. There's no qualifying of visa type. He applied for a student visa application which was successful. He got a BRP. He is even in school which we all know, they don't issue certificate for degree immediately you finish your course. Reason why that clause is their. Any previous application that was successful. But wetin I know. Thanks for the clarification again. |

abuhusna1: Stop giving false information when it comes to people's life base on your feelings without any proof. It's either a degree certified by naric or ielts. What is false about what I posted? So someone in UK already on tier 4 needs Naric again? Continue to deceive yourself. I have posted the proof below. Argue again and ask for the care home name. That's the reason it's difficult to give information on a group. Follow your instinct OK!! And stop saying my post is misleading or deceiving. Thanks |

Anyways..no be my money Dem go use pay for the visa if them deny the guy.. This is not a matter of misleading people. You should only talk authoritatively to something you have experience on. That is a list of requirements for someone already in UK. You can argue with that.

Peerielass: Hmm the BiB……do you mean get your ‘Accountant’ to forge payslips?
You will need to provide minimum of 3 month payslips and bank statement showing the net wage hitting your account. You will likely be asked to provide your offer of employment letter and also a recent letter from your employer confirming your contract ie permanent and working hours etc.
The checks required for mortgage application are usually very thorough, I doubt what you are suggesting will be able to withstand the scrutiny required. Employment letter showing xxxxx amount. Checked Letter from recent employer. Checked Payslip showing xxxxx amount. Checked My concern here is I don't want to wait 3-6 month before applying for the mortgage. Secondly, if using accountant, i still need to pay income tax, NI, pension if needed and also employer is also going to add his /her own. Paying all this for 3 month or 6. Is it worth the stress? Àbi I should just apply with my £400 payslip that I have gathered over time. |

dupyshoo: Buying a house can take up to 2 months+ for cash buyer and 3 months+ for those buying with mortgage. So, it is not that straightforward. Then, depending on your type of visa and credit rating, you might not get a mortgage. Also, the amount you have will likely not be enough deposit for you. Also, once you buy a house, you automatically lose the benefits of a first time buyer. So, buying another house will be difficult and you will need to pay huge stamp duty. For someone that is a student working part time and has like 40% deposit. What are the possible requirements to get a mortgage? Does the person requires a payslip? If yes, how many month? If i have an Accountant that can " provide" the payslip, is the bank going to verify the NI paid or would likely request to see the bank statement showing the payment monthly? I know I need a mortgage advisor on this but we still have elders here that can detect a white fowl from the pot. Lol. |

Pearlyfaze: Good evening ancestors. Thank God that the gbas gbos of student this and that are over.
I want to know something about the tier 2 visa,
If the main applicant (Health and Social care), becomes a dependant to the former dependant (IT sector) of the same tier 2 visa, Will it affect their time for ILR?.
Will their time reset to year 1. OR they can continue counting from the H&SC visa.
I hope i made sense. Thank you my people, my people. I don't think it's going to reset. Cause the rules says for as long you're on a valid visa and residing in the UK legally, then you qualify for it. That is my own opinion but if it's written anywhere, let the elders post it. |

If it's not possible, what other alternatives do I have to transfer money from Nigeria to a UK account? I'd really appreciate a reply. Thanks in advance. Yes it's possible. If you're using uba bank and the dollars are in your dorm account. You can convert the dollar to gbp using cbn rate and get it transferred to your uk bank. It is called cross currency withdrawal and you have to fill FCY form. Note : I don't now if other bank does it but I use uba frequently and I still did last month. |

Chreze: There is an article on taxing crypto investors, it was released last year by HMRC and updated this year February I think. I have not read the article. Also I don’t intend to do anything directly with a UK bank card as I don’t know what their final publication will be on taxing crypto investor/traders.
I did with my naira bank account early last year because I know it takes Nigerian central bank years to investigate and come up with a process. But since US became very serious with their crypto tax talk in 2020, I knew it won’t take long for their sibling UK to come up with something too.
If you have not, I advice you search for the article and read to be sure you are covered since you have direct bank transfer from your wallet to your bank account. I don’t think it will take binance more than 10 seconds to provide any document when requested by the UK government. I don't think there is more to the rules other than you won't be able to trade on futures. You need to submit any of those information before you scale through. You can still trade on spot though, I can't recollect if depositing money from your uk bank to binance is also affected.

Newbie123: So if your binance wasn't created in the UK, you can't use this function? You can't use the option of bank transfer which is 1GBP but you can do the card option of 1.8%. Visa cards only. |

5gee: If you use Binance, you can convert the USDT to GBP and then withdraw to your bank account. Fee is £1 for bank transfer and 1.5% if withdrawing to your bank card. You first need a UK bank account, preferably the challenger banks. I use Revolut. You can only withdraw to UK bank using bank transfer if your binance is created in the UK, for withdrawal to visa bank card, it's now 1.8%.
