Yesterday, I returned to find my house burgled, my documents ransacked and torn, my mom's money and my own stolen, my laptop and desktop and our tenants flatscreen almost stolen if not for me coming at the nick of time. we went to the police station and the first thing they told us was to make statement and open a file at 1000naira. they then told us to give them moving money. we pleaded and they agreed to go with us without money but we must give them something when we returned from station. Just imagine our money and goods have been stolen in broad daylight and we are in trauma yet you are asking us money. The people up there might try to report the case and police could demand up to 10k from them as moving money
