Lol, ok. For me, there's a "middle" to it. You can't say you're entirely a realist or an idealist. Because like you stated, some things shouldn't be compromised, they should be the way they are, and then something's just aren't the way they're supposed to be. There are ways to forge student ID cards, admission letters etc.

I feel it's a long shot asking them to contest when in fact they're not even qualified to contest in the first place.

The screening should have been done before the contest starts. Many will raise dust if they win and their prizes are denied them on the basis of whatever their corrupt mind can contort.

I understand where you're coming from and you have a point, but I also still stand by the fact that people should be disciplined and do what is right. That's simply what I'm saying. If you're not eligible, it's been stated, don't bother.

No it's not a punishment, it just means people should learn to abide by rules. The criteria are very clear, so if you go ahead and enter for the contest knowing fully well you're not eligible then you obviously don't get to claim the price.
