Thank you Mr. Kabarka for this innitiative, It surely has exceeded. The first time I came accross this post, I knew I wanted to go into manufacturing, but didn't know where to start from. You and Madam gave me a clear goal, thank you for that! I was able to build a 5 room factory that is completely finished now, awaiting installation of the sealing machine which is also available. I took your advice as well and hired a consultant introduced to me by a nafdac official in their office, he has done quite a lot so far, awaitng installation and plumbing so we can invite nafdac 4 inspection. Glory be to GOD for all this. I'm writing this post firstly to encourage you and others, as you stated that we should update this page with any developments. 2ndly, to ask possible questions that might be asked me as the production manager. Thirdly, my sister is getting married in september, her only request is that I provide 1,100 50cl bottle waters for her trad and wedding. But what we are currently registering is sachet water, is it possible to combine both sachet water and bottle water in this 5-room factory? What are the must-haves to be able to start up bottle water production immediately after our sachet water hits the stands? Please, everyone knowledgable in this my areas of interest are free to comment. But, I'll be glad if Mr. Kabarka and Madam will coordinate all the responses I get. Just the same things I thought

I'm a graduate of industrial chemistry, an entrepreneur to the core. I need help. Last year, I spent the whole 12months holding free industrial training seminars in churches and destitute homes, while schools and organizations pay for our services. My first was a no-show, but I was tick enough to know that it will get better, I just didn't know how much. My last commercial seminar was a no-show as well. I certainly need help. I had poster, flyers, and even radio gingles and still, nobody showed up. The success I've recorded so far was from industrial products like soap making, paint making, bleach, cream, custard food etc. But, I had to expand to bring in driving, computer training, bead and hat making and also animal farming. But, I still haven't recorded the kind of success I envisioned. Solving the greatest problem Nigeria has in my own little way. Please, advice me if you are experienced in this.

So far, I went to NAFDAC in Asaba to get their requirements, so my plan has to be redrawn to get an L-shape structure and detached from the other two bedroom that will be in the site. My uncle's family friends in Phchanged their line of business, so they offered me everything they have in their current functional pure water factory, I paid already, so as soon as the building is ready, we transfer from their facility to mine.I might use their brand name for a start while waiting for mine, is that ok? Or are they problems attached or percieved? Please enlighten me. I'm on my way to Asaba, to get the product name registered in min. Of commerce and industry. We are digging a 6feet borehole, 150feet deep(NAFDAC required this) for 100k, excluding sumo, wires, oipes and ropes. Please my mentors. Advice me where necessary.

I went to nafdac office today to make enquires as advised by the good poster of this thread, headed by kabarka and madam L. I got guide lines, but I didn't get specifications of the automated machine, the UV, filters and the rest of them. The woman assigned to me did not even know a consultant I can use to make my work easier as a novice, and the registration faster.

Please, kabarka, madam L and the rest of the good people here, I need a comprehensive list of what I need to set up a pure water factory. The borehole and building are in place. My first day in office, i will invite the 50 best electricity companies in the world so they can give suggestions and quotations that i will personally scrutinise and choose the best 5 of different sources. pay them in percentages as they get to work with a time limit of 6months maximum to deliver atleast 98% electricity to the whole country. secondly, i will make a decree that every one plot of land in urban areas should have a tree. thirdly, every geopolitical zone will have a mechanised farming system of atleast a hundred hectres, these will feed the country. i will not take loans, grants or aids from foreign countries or bodies, we will learn to manage what we have(a borrower is a slave to the lender). foreign investors with businesses that will better the country will have a no-charge licence as long as they train Nigerians to manage their affairs. oil companies licences that are currently renewed every 40years will be revoked, they will renew yearly, stop spillage and train Nigerians as expertriates,

I currently run empowerment seminars, i train people on how to manufacture household items like soap, paint, perfume, custard food and alot more. and empower them in our own way. my advice is 1) look 4 a free befitting accomodation or be able to negociate about the cost of accomodation(its better if you get it free and share profit)with landlord.why? for a start, the attendance might discourage you. 2)make it very affordable, sell manuals and cds to meet up. 3) advertise very very well. 4)get a team o, dont try to do all these alone, you might break down.
