That pitch tho.... |
kosb:Please kindly help me with the materials.....Agoziemax@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance. |
Hello guys.. please how good is this Stanbic IBTC mutual funds, I have done some research and the results are quite encouraging, planning to test the waters with a 30days investment of 500k. Any advise or contrary view will be highly appreciated. |
I read the comments people make and I wonder why we are like this, a nation riddled with tribal sentiments and bias. We celebrate irrelevant issues in the face of our long standing decay and rot since 1960. As far as the person in power is from my region, he can do whatever he wants. This is why we are were we are today. A nation with blinded, tribalistic and nepotic followers. God!!! |
Page 1-106!! Thumbs up Frank for opening such a thread, hopefully I will be in your shoes within two years. I've told myself that I will never make any derogatory or negative remarks about Nigeria no matter the urge to gripe and complain, things are terrible and depressing yea, but it could have been worse. It has nothing to do with being patriotic, it's just a mindset. Am grateful for how bad things are already, knowing that am not defined by the environment or my circumstances, but how I react to them. Time and chance will happen someday and I will tell my own story too, but till then..... we will stay positive against all odds. |
Austinpee4:Thanks for the response Austinpee4, I have already researched some universities where the course is offered, and seen quite a number of them Mcgill, Trent UWO and so on, but the challenge is the switch from BSC est mgt to masters in IT field. Based on experience, will such application scale through considering the field of study am coming from and the one am switching over to... |
Good evening house, please I want to find out if it's possible for me to apply for masters in any good Canadian university in an IT related field, data science especially. I read estate mgt and graduated with second class honours, and presently working in the financial sector. Any advise from the experienced gurus in the house will be duly appreciated. Good luck to all expectant applicants in the house..... |
FA13:Christ entered into the holy of holies and paid the price once and for all, while we were yet sinners he came and died for us, he paid for our sins ever before we sinned ie in your future past. Check out the book of Hebrews. |
Sin has been paid for, it's like when someone has finished paying your $100m debt, you still go and start looking at that that debt report wondering how you will ever pay them. You know that left on your own, you can never settle that debt (sin), but you 've been discharged and acquitted over that debt, so why bother yourself about it again? Forget sin and embrace grace and your clean credit report, even if you owe (sin) again, someone has paid for it already...... that man Jesus. ![]() |
It depends on the perspective you are looking at it from, if you believe you are helping yourself already, why look for heavens help? Without heaven's help, you are nothing. So I say heaven help the helpless who goes around thinking they've been helping themself. |
EyeBee04:I have passed that road and am proud of what the outcome turned out to be, stop generalizing your perverted sense of reasoning. |
When you think the problem is out there, you empower what is out there to control you^ You only get what you believe and imagine^ I got my present job of over 200k p/m without any connection^ Lastly, make God your best friend becus he breaks protocol s like kilode |

Why would a normal human being bring up a moral standard that is worthy of emulation and write what the person will not gain from living up to such standard. If you are living below that standard, mind your biz and stop telling those above you what they will lose. Have you stopped to think of what you will stand to loose as a result of your own low standard of morality? To all the virgins, you are rare in our generation. Keep it up. One reward from the seed you have planted will overshadow all the crap Op wrote above. |
balancediet:Nice analogy..... that's the motivation that drives me presently on the job... tho tasking and time consuming but the personal growth and transformation has been awesome. |
We drift towards compromise and call it tolerance, We cherish the indiscipline of self control and call it relaxation, we savour the dungeons of immorality and call it fun/game. The world is truly deadly. |
Airforce1:Who feed you this blatant lie? ![]() |
azimibraun:That's the problem we have in this country... we want things to change but nobody wants to stand up for the truth and pay the price. If you want to be a hero... you will totally forget about yourself and what may become of you. |
No fears because his perfect love casted them all out. |
It's only in Nigeria that people join the police, not out of passion to serve and protect the masses but to make money. What a country! |
God is not using Buhari to punish us, neither is he the cause of our predicament. We as a nation made a choice and we are reaping the consequences of that choice. If God ever wants to punish you, you won't have the mouth to tell the story. But he won't, until judgement day because he is a good God. |
Tithing is biblical, but I get amused at some Christians that quotes Malachi 3 vs this and that without reading the whole chapter. God will not curse you becus you didn't pay your tithe, it's religion that has twisted that old testament law and made it whip of beating ignorant Christians into offering tithe out if fear of curse. All our curse has been placed on Jesus on the cross of Calvary. God is more intrested in the heart condition of the giver than the gift itself. If you are giving your tithe so as to pay God off as a Godfather, then you may as well keep your money becus it profits you nothing. Give cheerfully whether as tithe or charity, anyone you choose to do, do it gratefully and out of reverence. |
Lennycool:You are simply looking at God in this analogy from the point of omniscient. From your analogy, the students are you and I, now how will you determine if you fall or pass without writing the test? remember the teacher is the omniscient being here and not the students. The only thing you as a student need to do is to answer the test dfo that you will pass. If you say because the teacher already knows who will pass and fail which you are right to say so, what does that make you?? Trying to understand God entirely will leave you more confused. You simply have a choice, believe in him by faith or don't. Stop cracking your brain trying to figure God out or why he did this and that. He is God and you are not, simple. |
Mr Seun, I thought you are more enlightened than this? Never imagined you among the league of people that ridicule others because of religion and so on. Smh... |
FowlYansh:One advice; It's too early to do that just yet. |
By reciprocating his love for you because he first loved you. |
Relationships are simply a waste of time, energy and resources if it's not meant to be consummated. Why do something that only pays your emotional bank once in a while?? |
When people say I don't care, they actually care more than those who care. |
What a thread!!! Exactly what I need at this critical stage of my life. God bless you YoungExec. With the knowledge from this thread and with the wisdom gained from reading The Richest Man in Babylon, I dare to say that nothing will stop me from managing my income which God just recently multiplied beyond my expectations. Awesome ![]() This thread deserves front page by every stretch of imagination. cc:lalasticlala, mynd44 |
Trusting Nigerian politicians is like sending a rat to secure your fish for you. |
My concern is this, why is it that it's only politicians who are somehow opposing the present administration that gets scrutinized for corrupt practices, why? What if Fayose have not been critical of the present administration, are we still going to see this issue all over the news? What if Been Bruce is not a common sense advocate, will his case with AMCON be brought up? Well, it's none of my business. |
You forgot sterling bank. They are employing all these while whereas others are downsizing. |
