That is the problem, late preparation or no orientation isn't a good idea when entering UAE for job seeking. Basic info is already available in this thread.
She can enter any emirate with her Visa it doesn't matter which emirate issued it.

Page 160, the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers job post got me.
I know many applied but the email will bounce back.
Well I saw the post on 23rd December same day it will expire. To cut the gist short, the email address was a test too.
Jumeirah don't want too many people crowded for the job, Only the smart or lucky ones were able to get the email right after many tries.
The interview was yesterday 7th January. About 30 to 40 people were invited for the interview.
At the end only 6 people were selected and offer letter issued to them. They all signed.
Out of the 6 people, 5 are Male and 1 female. Out of the 5 Males 4 are Africans. Out of the 4 Africans 3 are Nigerians. Among the 3 Nigerians are 1 Yoruba, 1 Edo and 1 Igbo dude which is me.

I printed my resignation letter before I came back
And this morning I resigned with one month notice.

Just to chill out for 3 months and you are planning on how to renew if it expires. Won't going back to 9ja be better except you are really planning in looking for job.
With the new law you can now extend your stay for one month twice if it has already been implemented.

First of all the visa cost is on the high side.

Secondly to change visit visa to work permit in your words you must get a job from a genuine company when you come in with visit visa. The company will then apply for your employment visa

Thirdly yes you can get a job with 3 months visa that is how most of us came here

Tips for the newbies in Dubai before you go out for job hunting simply use google maps to get the direction, metro station names,bus stops and bus numbers you will be using. It will save you a lot of money if you know your way round so that you will know when to trek and when to use public transport.
Alternatively download this app from playstore S'hail, you can even add your nol card number to it and it shows you your balance left.
Also when ever you tag in in the metro station, you have either 1 or 2 mins I think to tag out if you don't want to be charged. A times you might forget something and need to go back so this info will come in handy

To add to what he is saying...You must have a sponsor for the visa in UAE that is how UAE visa works. And that is where middlemen called agents come in. The shorter the middlemen men, the better the price. Greed can inflate the price too. Also you can be scammed if you fall into wrong hands.

Yes UAE embassy work on fridays. From my experience you can attest MOE and MOFA in a day but will likely not meet up for embassy same day. Then at embassy you have to submit and pick it up next day.
Might take you 3 to 4 days.

Take the bus, you will need NOL card. Costs like 10 Dirhams from Dubai to Sharjah
You can board bus E304 from Satwa bus station . Will stop you at Sharjah, Al Jubail bus station which is the last bus stop.

It depends on the agent that handle it for you normally between 240k to 300k but don't be freak by those with lesser price because their own takes time or they might be scammers

He can still get lower than 230k even lower than 200k. That it is cheaper does not mean it is a scam. That it is higher does not me it is genuine. 300K can be a scam too.
