Is it that you cannot read or you are just in a hurry to insult your people? Did you not see that the amendment will require banks to demand TIN from prospective and existing individual bank account holders? Where is the lie? Afamed: |
What is in place to identify what kind of funds will be subject to taxation? Is there a distinction between individual accounts operated by young students and unemployed/underemployed persons? |
pepperdemzombie:If you had small sense, you'd have seen that I'd responded to your quotes before your response that she deleted abi twisted what she said originally. She didn't delete or twist anything though; just added an extra detail for dumbos littering both the physical and virtual space! Ini has said she used a donor, who is not a random person, but will be in no position to lay a claim on her child. Why does that hurt you so bad? Note that she still calls the donor just that, a donor! Just that he is not a random person but it doesn't make him any less a donor! She was quiet and enjoying her child until amebo, oversabi, yeye people brought it to the public that she had a child for a married man, probably causing unnecessary tension in another couple's home. I am certain that is why she had to speak about what really was no one's business and she had been minding her business! Sometimes, stop looking for how to attack just because you are hidden by the anonymity of the crowd. Stop, think and analyze issues before you explode but if that is an onerous task as I can deduce from your posts, then just keep quiet. |
pepperdemzombie:Sholaye Jeremi is the father of Linda Ikeji's son and that has been in the public domain but perhaps you are too slow to make necessary research or even keep abreast of happenings. She decided to give the boy her maiden name since she's not married to the father; doesn't make the father unknown. https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2018/12/meet-my-son-jayceand-yes-sholaye-jeremi-is-his-dad.html Ini first said she used a donor cos she doesn't want anybody to lay claim on the child. She deleted and twist after backlash.Ini has not said anything different. She used a donor's sperm. The donor is not a random person and will play no role in the child's life. He remains a donor! Or is it English that is a challenge? A person who donates a thing is called a donor! His identity or the lack of it should not be and is not your business. I thought you people laughed at FFK's impotence yesterday. Precious said she never had sex with FFK for 6 years cos he is impotent. Who owns sperm for IVF?Precious has averred before a court that there were no sexual relations between her and FFK. Her 4 children were all conceived via artificial insemination. She did not say FFK didin't have sperm. Until proven otherwise, FFK is the father of her children. In your dull, shallow and myopic attempt and categorizing who can use a donor's sperm because na you dey donate all, see your quote below especially the bold part yet you are still looking for owner of sperm for Precious's IVF procedure: pepperdemzombie:In all your submissions, your major challenge is that you cannot fathom why a woman can or will carry a pregnancy without prick and pvussy copulation. There is a science called IVF and people have increasingly embraced it to fulfill their desires to procreate whether through direct artificial insemination or surrogacy. Stop looking for owner of sperm and quit trying to police a woman's agency over her body. Even if you do not know the father of these children and they are never disclosed, does it make the mothers and their children inferior? Have they stopped being human beings? What is your stake in their lives? Are you paying school fees hence the need to demand the identities of their fathers before you pay? Community police in the poteaux poteaux! Tueh! Rest peacefully on the matter o! |
He is a donor because for the procedure of surrogacy, sperm must be donated. There is no copulation required. jaxxy: |
Crystalom3:Which brings us back to why you feel so entitled over her stated reasons which you qualified as selfish. How is it your concern? |
But read well. She has said the sperm donor is not a random person. She has only decided not to disclose and that person will most likely not be playing the role of father in the child's life. What is the selfishness there that you have been going on and on about? Must she tell us who the father of her baby is? The child will be just fine, people have been mocked and shunned even for their physical appearance that they may have no control over so I believe your umbrage should be at a society that is happily 'advanced' with the latest gadgets and electronic acquisitions but will not also evolve towards learning to accept people simply for being fellow human beings without more! Crystalom3: |
Have you considered that she may be unable to carry a pregnancy to full term? Do you know if she has a medical condition? Since there are other options to have a child, must she copulate beyond pleasure? What is this obsession with sexual intercourse? jaxxy: Crystalom3: |
You know she didn't just have the baby. It's just that some gossips somehow sniffed and decided to bring it to the public, insinuating that the child is for a married man, enough to even wreck his own marriage! Perhaps she felt the need to make a few clarifications so the hungry wolves baying for blood would be appeased but it's clearly not enough. As far as they cannot envision priick, pvssy and 9-month belle on Ini in the picture, everything is wrong! Tueh! Aunty Surrogacy? Is that the new 'insult' in addition to 'ashawo and gold-digger'? Na wa! Damian10: |
And why not a donor? Since she'd decided or is not able to personally carry the pregnancy for whatever reason, will you compel the surrogate to have sex with some stranger and what happens to Ini's eggs extracted and prepared for the purpose? As far as fertilization is expected to take place outside the female body, it must be a donor whether known to her or not and she is not under any obligation to disclose his identity! jaxxy: |
When you label a complete human as 'surrogate baby' you create the impression that a child produced from a surrogacy procedure is somehow less than and I'm sure you know that's 100% false and wrong! People are wired differently. Sometimes, one experience is enough to scar or make a lasting impression on a person for life and will mostly form a basis for decisions taken later in life and it is perfectly valid. When you categorically state that her reasons for opting for a surrogate to have a child are 'flimsy and selfish' I wonder whether you are an acclaimed expert on the subject including valid reasons for choices made! Are you in her life? Do you know how her mind operates? Do you know what personal/family experiences she might have had or seen? Even the few public 'fighting marriages' with kids caught in the cross-fire might be enough for her to take her decision. She mustn't explain it all to the public and even more importantly, she owes no explanation or validation from you or any one out there. She is a Nollywood star who has taken a personal life decision at 39 and that should be enough for everyone. Crystalom3: |
Antoeni:To whom? You or fellow busybody Nigerians? ![]() |
Even here she has clearly stated that the sperm donor is no random person, you are still 'offended'. Over what, I can't imagine! Who died and made you author of all things IVF and surrogacy and Ini Edo's choices? She is well within her rights to have no relationship with or never disclose the identity of the father of her child! Rest and let sense locate your location! See how you are even insulting and dragging Tonto Dike who was married to the father of her child and his identity is not hidden! What exactly is the colour of your problem? pepperdemzombie: |
Try not to be too silly. There is no child without a mother and father. That one or the other parent isn't actively in the parenting picture for whatever reason/circumstance doesn't negate the existence of a father/mother. Father of Linda Ikeji's child is known; Ini has clearly mentioned that the sperm donor is no random person; even Precious whose kids are currently in their father's custody you say no papa. Is it a new strain of madness you are reacting to? pepperdemzombie: |
Implementing it or not is another kettle of fish. All Falana said is that the findings of the panel cannot and should not be arbitrarily challenged through a white paper. The ENDSARS panel is a quasi-judicial panel and its findings/recommendations if found to be inconsistent, should be challenged in a competent court of law with evidence, simple. The whitepaper as we know it today is not legally clothed with the power to overturn the final outcome/findings/recommendations of a duly established panel, simple. descartes400: |
The point is still flying way over your head. He has not said that whitepapers should not be implemented rather his point is that the formulation/content of a whitepaper should not differ from the decision or recommendations of a panel which the white paper is meant to convey in the first instance. It should not be used as a tool to discredit the decisions of a panel otherwise he is reminding all that the white paper is not a legal instrument contemplated by the law. OderaOdesigo: |
I do not understand what you mean by adamant about the expulsion. Is it that she shouldn't have mentioned or said what led to it? It is the basis of her story that led to where she is today or am I missing something? BRATISLAVA: |
seunmsg:Understand what he is saying, a white paper is a mere administrative tool for conveying the decision of a panel or government body. It cannot be used to vary or tamper with the actual decision it is meant to convey. A white paper committee cannot also stand in an appellate position to alter or refute what the recommendations of the panel set up by the authority constitutionally empowered to do so. @the bold, unless the panel is set up to produce a pre-determined outcome, a panel constituting authority should ordinarily be bound by and implement the outcomes/recommendations of the panel it set up. Unfortunately, Nigeria is a country where laws/principles are applied based on the whims of the ruling bloc. The same way you are happy to say a quasi-judicial panel is not a court of law is the same way a white paper is not known to law and does not have the requisite power to counter or alter the recommendations of a properly constituted panel. All concerned persons should challenge what they will in a competent court of law but please hide your hypocrisy sometimes. Besides, how many times does the Nigerian government even obey valid court pronouncements especially when not in its favour? You should be more concerned about the system and institutions that are not able to function freely rather keep enabling the truncation of same system due to political support and considerations. |
sinkhole: BRATISLAVA:Yes, it expected that people will be disappointed and express same; others will even mock or vilify the 'criminal'. However, it doesn't block or change the natural human reaction. No normal person likes to be disgraced, mocked or shamed and will definitely not want to lose respect or have people be disappointed in him/her. Don't forget that the 'criminal' mostly expects to get away with the 'crime' committed (except for sociopaths or those using the criminal conduct to seek attention) so when he/she gets caught, even though the reaction of others is expected, it's not fun and games for the 'criminal'. That is why they don't want to get caught in the first instance! Do not also forget that there are some circumstances and pressures that may lead a person into unwholesome conduct; though not to presume that this might have been her case. It is not out of place to feel shame, even depression at the negative reaction but in the case of the op, she accepted that she got involved in the examination misconduct and deserved the punishment of expulsion so she only expressed how she felt most likely from a place of remorse and readiness to be/do better. In other words, she clearly accepted responsibility for her wrong unlike some who will never accept responsibility and start looking for whom to blame. In that case, the pull-him-down syndrome sets in; some even negatively use the situation to go into crime or refuse to re-trace their steps and be proactive in doing better. The beauty again in her story is that she learnt from her mistake and went ahead to make a first class that she can hopefully, defend wherever she finds herself. She appears to be a strong person and probably had some good support base that stood up for her after the initial disappointment so that she didn't have to dwell too long on her past or whatever words/actions might have been flung her way in reaction to her past. Also, don't forget that some 'enemies/haters' may capitalize on the incident to carry out their evil thoughts and that may break a weaker person. Some in her position at the time might even attempt or actually commit suicide. Bottom line, she is a success story and should be celebrated as such. |
If na that one petrol stations get polo too o! 900warriorz: |
The court does not prosecute. Furthermore, the court cannot take a position on any matter i.e. declaring a person guilty or not without the prosecution (in this case the government) bringing such a person PROPERLY before the court. There are laid down procedures for arraigning a person and initiating a suit from filing of processes and if not correctly done, the court will not entertain such a matter least of all pronounce any decision. If the litigants - prosecution and defence do not do their homework, the court will simply throw out (strike out) the case. For Kanu, if the prosecution (FG) successfully proves its case, the court will make its pronouncement of finding him guilty and sentence accordingly. Of course there is the right of appeal. On the other hand, if the defense team is able to rubbish the submissions of the FG, the court is bound to discharge and acquit him provided there is no political interference or deliberate ploy to keep him incarcerated as is usually the case once the FG (Buhari and minions) feels offended. The current case of this man that has been detained for 11 months is an obvious ploy of the FG to keep him in perpetual detention just because they have the power to and institutions are dead as usual. Otherwise the court should have made a consequential order immediately it struck out the case to have him released from detention but asking his lawyer to file a formal application is another delay tactic.... The height of wizardry (male) or witchcraft (female). You need deliverance and absolute repentance. Where you cannot do these then death is necessary so you won't be looking for how to knock others off just to reign supreme! Icouldhave: |
Too much anger in the land...deprivation, injustice, hardship and ultimately, bad governance has really done and continues to do a number on unfortunate Nigerians whose only offence is to be born and resident in Nigeria! May Nigeria never happen to sane ones who keep warning and drawing attention to the wicked governance in this country! |
flokii:So to your little, myopic, black mind, the Chair of the Lagos ENDSARS Panel is Igbo? Do some basic, decent research and stop exposing your tribal bigotry that cannot even save your life! Shame on you! Hmmmm, na wa o! Fishy stuff and it's absolutely smelly! Si murukwa anya ka azu! |
How does one person allowing a chicken eat out of his plate translate to a whole tribe being powered by hate and bigotry? Is it madness that has struck around your area that is affecting you or what? Parada: |
These demons are just deliberately throwing out sickeningly false narratives so that years down the line, with our notoriously short memories and inability to properly document and validate salient information/history, it is these bald-faced lies that will permeate the internet and become the available source of information. This is also why EFCC decided to mess around with Obi Cubana, not because they have anything concrete against him but just to sully his records so whenever he gets checked out, it would be that he had at some point been arrested/detained/investigated for money laundering or tax evasion as claimed. |
The fact that some idiots who should know better continue to peddle the idea/sentiments that it is only when you are 'connected' to the national ruling party that you will be properly regarded, respected and accorded your dues as a citizen and a state or region in the supposed 'one Nigeria' is just sad and sickening. And it only thrives because this country and its handlers have deliberately refused to strengthen institutions and actually uphold the rule of law. Joe Igbokwe is a silly oaf as usual so no surprise. After 'sacrificing his house at Nnewi, what has he gained? |
Abi now, na their way. Sharply go and deny then when it becomes clear that they were stupid, you come dey hear bandits and hoodlum grammar and how they (bandit police) are on top of the situation and we should remain calm. yemmight: |
Nigeria Police! Tufiakwa! It is until the bomb rains on your heads or the bullets pierce your skulls you will admit the truth and take remedial action! As dem don deny am dem no go beef up security there until a larger inferno that is audible even to the deaf will occur but as we know, they will still try to deny and muddy the water so that the 'excellent, unimpeachable' Buhari government is never blamed or required to take responsibility! |
I see am tire o! seunayantokun: |
You feel like you have made some sense but you have actually exposed an unfortunate inability to grasp simple nuances of the English language and a general lack of comprehension. If you weren't in such an all-fired hurry to show your partisan leanings, you would have clearly seen that the major grouse of all those you quoted is the attempt by the Air force to initially deny and lie about the occurrence of the incident before admitting! Or do you mean to imply that such lack of honour and absolute incompetence at managing public communication is normal and happens to all military formations? Then you must be a joker!
