What price did you buy the Fidelity and DF If there is a price reversal, are you comfortable holding on and not complaining of losing money. This is very important in stock selection.

After 2008 crash, plenty people had beautiful portfolio but price wasn't beautiful.

Got my fidelity bank shares at 1.30 average

Dangote flour at 6.50 average

For fidelity bank, I already know my exit price. Just waiting patiently.

That's the unfortunate irony bro. Wether you accept it or not, posts here affect the movement of small cap stocks in NSE. Only the big Caps are immuned for now because members don't have the capacity to move the prices. I was a guest of this thread for years before I registered my presence here and I can bet my DF shares that 80%+ of the movers of the market come here to guage stock sentiment before making up their minds.

Why do you think caverton, ci leasing, etal, started moving when u started your speech? Anyway, post responsibly
My brother, I am 100% with you on this issue cos I noticed it myself especially with caverton. Carverton price was roving around 1.25 but immediately he started drawing the attention of the stock..within a week, there was a spike in the price....needless to say on cileasing.
Do not underrate the calibre of people that view this thread. This thread made Morgan capital popular and what it is today!

WHERE MSCI INVESTED ADDITIONAL FUNDS ON 6 DECEMBER 2017/SOME EQUITIES APPROACHING RESISTANCE LEVELS

For 6 December 2017. MSCI uploaded on Dangote Sugar, Diamond and Fidelity. No wonder those equities were good gainers for that day.

The Equities that are close to major resistance level includes: Dangote Sugar, Fidson. For Transcorp, this level of NGN1.53 seems to be a liquidation point for some major holders, previous posts on this forum have indicated this. Let us see if Transcorp will go past this level in this bull season.

The problem of Transcorp seems to be the fact that so many people have loaded up immediately after the release of the 3rd Quarter report, but price failed to advance as expected (see daily chart of 15 October, level has been strong since July 2017) and as at now are in a loss/just want to breakeven and get out.

Below were the additions by MSCI. I will continue to monitor this, but may now be weekly or monthly. If want the excel sheet, you can e-mail me.

Caution: Investing is a risky venture. This is just my opinion and I cannot be liable for any loss suffered as a result of following this recommendation All data used are assumed to be correct, but you may need to verify some of the figures independently.

My brother, well done for your enlightening post. I sent you an email since yesterday but you are yet to reply.

Many investors with deep pocket than you have been mopping Transcorp for the past One and half weeks. Sir, the price of stocks in NSE is determined by the higher power not the analysis of NSEMPA. Talk less and follow the money...
I notice that as well

I think we should be safe rather than sorry. I believe Morgan are understating the problem. I have tried access via Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Edge. All are giving the same security warning! And yet, Morgan wants us to override this and log in. Mba. Please note that in this kind of breach, the loss incurred or the potential to incur losses may not be immediately apparent.
Those of us that have been with Morgan capital since 2014 would agree with me that something like this have happened before and it was later resolved.
So guys, let's relax and stop all this panicking. I think it would be resolved soonest.

Different strokes for different folks i guess.
If you ask my take on transcorp, i believe it would give close to a 100% price increase in less than 6 months time from the closing price of yesterday.
For fidelity, the price is surely going above 2 naira in the same time frame.
emmanuelewumi:

Unfortunately, I only invest in the big 5 banks, Transcorp is a no no for me. I have quite a substantial unitd of Dangote flour, bought this year for about N4.00 and less.

I am looking at the manufacturing, food and beverages or building materials sectors .

Transcorp

Dn't be too confident in Diamond bank q3 result. As stated earlier, since 2015 their impairment charges during the second half of the year usually soaks up the profit. But if they get it right this time, good for all of us. In my opinion, I would suggest we take some level of precaution.
Mpeace:
lol dont mind him. He said he was waiting at sub 1or even 80k but is now angry that we refused to sell to him at 1.15. Shebi he said he would buy at 80k, We will not sell to him ontill that price. I done belle full for diamond. Just waiting for q3 result and the rally that would follow. They are sure to make over 500% growth in profit after tax. The will do dangflour by q3 result.
NOT A BUY RECOMMENDATION, JUST A PERSONAL OPINION.
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Calebbold: 6:22pm On Aug 30, 2017
Diamond is a great stock no doubt. My only fear is their loan provision. H2 loan provision is usually quite highly than H1 since 2015. If they get it right by q3, I will increase my holding.
Mpeace:
You guys should stop comparing FCMB with fidelity. Fidelity is far better than FCMB and should only be compared with diamond bank which is even better than both. NB fidelity has a higher OS than Diamond bank.
And as for that person that says FCMB makes better profits in q3, look well and see that they actually made a loss last q3. qoq.

Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Calebbold: 6:05pm On Aug 30, 2017
Exactly. Fidelity q2 is 9 billion. 9 ➗ 28.9 = 0.31. Therefore annualized eps should be in the region of about 0.62 while fcmb should be 0.30. If we are using that as a yardstick, then fcmb should be selling half the price of Fidelity.
Chibuking81:

OK, I now understand better.
The outstanding share of both Fidelity and FCMB stands at;
1. Fidelity is 28,974,797,023.00
2. FCMB is 19,802,710,754.00

Using the outstanding share to get their EPS
1. fidelity; ÷ 28.9
2. FCMB; 3.019 ÷ 19.8 = 0.15 EPS

Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Calebbold: 5:16pm On Aug 30, 2017
Fcmb q2 profit is 3.019 billion while the outstanding share is 19.8 billion. 3.019 ➗ 19.8 = 0.15 EPS
Chibuking81:

Please explain more, but what I saw is 2017 Q2 report not final year.

Maybe, there's something you know that I don't know.

Please help to expose any form of manipulation, am 100% in support of that, before we see another Oando and Transcorp.
