But I don't think q2 is enough to conclude for a stock that is in the recovery process. Every quarter is vital. Q3 might even give a higher fair value than q2.
So both Mega and Pete's Cadbury predictions are well attainable.

Impressive q2 result from Cadbury. This is probably one of their best q2 result after a long time.

From history, Cadbury best quarter results is usually q1 and q3. So I believe the 100+ price is still in play.

The information you can find in this book is second to none. The writer of this book was so gracious in sharing this knowlwdge. Although with time you will have to modify some of the information in this book in line with the realities of the Nigeria stock market, nonetheless you can never go wrong in selecting winning stocks if you carefully digest the information found in this book.

Some years ago, there was a free pdf copy online. Try and see if you download it for free.

In addition to the information found in this book, also learn how to calculate for Target price. That will help you know if a stock is undervalued or not.

Yep. Q2 is usually one of the best quarters in terms of earnings. From history, Q2 earnings is more than 2X of Q1.

Expecting an increase in the price of the stock.

CAVERTON is highly undervalued in comparison to its peer in the service sector.

Based on the last earning report and the current price, here is the P/E of some of the stocks in the service sector:
Transcorp hotel P/E : 72.65
Nahco: 11.02
Red start express: 13.3
Skyway Aviation : 6.78
Initiates: 6.92
Learn africa: 8.93
University press: 6.84
Ikeja hotel: 5.82
Cileasing: 8.43
CAVERTON: 3.54

Based on the q1 report and using a P/E of 7, my current price target for Caverton is a minimum of 13 naira per share.

If Q2 delivers, we should be looking at above 15.

Nahhh. Am not a prophet. I buy a stock base on the fundamentals. Looking at the Q1 result the price target using a P/E of 5 is 9.8.

I just hope Q2 maintain same result so that we don't have a price decline.

they are only selling to meet Free Float requirement. the family owns over 70% of the company across several direct and indirect holdings

Well, if you think you ain't comfortable with the major shareholders selling their indirect shares, you can offload your shares as well. I have no insider information on why they are selling.
However, people sell their shares for different reasons and there is over 50% increase in the price of the stock from the beginning of this year.

I bought Caverton shares based on their q1 2025 result and I look forward to their q2 result to reevaluate my decision.

Lol.... ealier this month, the family of one of the directors in united capital also sold their shares. Does that mean something is wrong with the company?

People sell their shares for different reason. The price of caverton has appreciated over 70% since the beginning of the year. Maybe they sold due to capital gain reason. I am only assuming unless you have insider information!😁

The funny thing is they are releasing the disclosure same day...

The family of Makanjuola has over 2.2 billion units of Caverton held in direct/indirect shares. The units of shares they have sold so far is insignificant for now.

Ask your school to send you an official letter stating that you are not allowed to register for your courses till 12th July 2022. Show this letter to the immigration officers at the airport when they ask for your enrollment letter.

You have to be doing this everyday until they answer you.

I said it here few months ago, either Lafarge will come up or BUA cement will come down. Both stocks will soon sell at the same price in the next 18 months probably at N50.

It will get to a stage when Rabiu cant defend the price of BUA cement again.

The expected price of BUA cement in the next 3 to 4 years is already factored in into the current price of the stock

N50 by next 18 months? I disagree bro... I believe it might be around N45/50 before year end.

Wapco best shot in terms of PAT is their Q2. I noticed a pattern in their last 2/3 financial year results. They usually double their PAT during Q2 when compared to Q1.

If history repeats itself, the journey to N50 before year end is sure. Q2 EPS of N3 when the price is under N40, is something investors cannot ignore.
