Mpeace: I tried withdrawal now. They just informed me i have to wait for three working days or forfiet 1% of the sum if i want it now I think you have to wait till 3 working days after selling your stock before you can withdraw... but if you want the money before that time, 1% would be deducted from the amount you are withdrawing. Thats has been their policy for some years now. |

steveneche: My UCAP stock is up by 67% at the moment. Should Sell or hold? I was waiting for the release of Ucap third quarter result before I would give my advice based on the performance of the company. Based on the result, here is my take: if I were you, I will hold till around jan/Feb 2022 before I will sell my ucap shares because the price will likely get to 12/13 naira within that time frame. Ucap is one of the best performing stock in NSE this year already had over a 100% run. Caveat: Do your Due Diligence! |

locodemy: Peter, No doubt Transcorp will surpass #7 but you can still gamble other stocks to boost hope as I am doing presently.
In the other hand, some foreign analysts have evaluated Trsnscorp and value it above #7 based on returning on profitability. Oga loco...abeg, which site be that one wey you get the valuation from? |

KenBen217: Ive been following these stock thread for a while,I just need a few assistance on navigating this market,I decided to venture into the stock market and I bought some stocks, sundial towers stock, anyways I decided to check my portfolio and discovered that the stock has depreciated over the last days. I carried out some research on the company,it is a premium cannabis manufacturing company. However I need to know from experienced investors, what do you look out for when investing in stocks because I know this is not guess work nor is it entirely luck. How do you source information? What statistics do you look out for and where? Thanks in advance Download the free pdf version of this book: How to make money in stocks by William J O'Neil. Someone recommended this book on this thread some years ago and working closely with the knowledge I gained from this book and my personal experience on the nigeria stock market over the years have actually helped me to understand how our local stock market works. I am still learning though. When sourcing for information on any stock on the nigeria stock market, I use investing.com, proshare, easykobo, nairametrics, nigeria stock market website etc. Seem u're investing in foreign stocks ( sundial towers)... those websites deal mainly on our local stock market except investing.com I will advice you to properly digest the information from that book I recommended. All the best! |

Gentlelord: I have come to learn the hard way, one of the secrets to this trading is 1. Select your choice coins say 6 2. Research about them 3. Pick out your best 4 4. Invest 80% of your cash in them 5. Be patient and leave for say a month. 6. Update stop loss for them periodically. 7. You can then be using the remaining 20% of your wallet cash for swing trading hopping and jumping.
This is the route I have decided to take now, hopefully it favours me. Went through my Trade History and discovered that I would have made a profit of over $2000 within the last 13days, if only I had been patient. Pls which research tools do u use for cryptocurrency? I would like to know how u go about the research |

pluto09: On WAPCO..
Liquidity has increased significantly which is a plus. The result also look good y/y. However it is a poor result q/q and I am still studying it to see what might be responsible for that. Cost of sales went up significantly from 32b in q2 to about 45b in q3 and PAT drops from 15b to 4.8b resulting in a drop of eps of 96k to 30k over q2 and q3.
Could this be a pointer to what will happen in ,q4 bearing in mind that the company reported a negative earnings in q4 2019? Study Wapco company result(not the group's result) 2019 q2 &q3, then u will understand that Wapco doesn't usually make much profit in 3rd quarter. I feel it's majorly due to the weather in most South South states which is Wapco's stronghold...it usually rains alot during this period/quarter. Wapco best result is usually in the first and second quarter of the year. But I don't think they will come at a loss in q4.. but we could be expecting something closer to the 3rd quarter result or even better. Most investment houses already know this...study their PAT forecast for WAPCO 2020..I think the highest was around 35 billion. |

Agbalowomeri: Wake me up when ASI breaks 45k Smart guy!!! U know the drill The truth is that we are already in a bull market which would likely end by December 2021/Jan 2022 all things been equal or when the NSE ASI gets to around 45k. Check the history of NSE ...2012/2013 & 2016/2017. History will likely repeat itself. |

Mpeace: Wapco moving up but praying the 10million offerer don't show up. I think there is sth wrong with WAPCO price quotation on NSE portal Currently the stock is trading at 12.70 but the price quotation on NSE portal is still 12.20. |

nna777: It's not normal for Wapco to trade over 3M shares and no price movement. I think a big player was trying to play smart.
Buying below the 100k unit on the offer side for price change thinking that people will start bidding higher then selling to back to. But e no work.
Anyway I see it retesting #11 again b4 q3 comes out. We patiently wait. I think it was an obvious error on NSE site...it actually closed 12.50... I followed the price movt till closing time today If u're a Morgan capital customer, check the market price or check investing.com or other investment site. The volume it was trading at 2:20pm was same volume it closed the market for today. And at that time, the price was 12.50. |

Mpeace: I am expecting a good result from fbnh. Its one of those stocks(like wapco) that's tried so hard to come out of the mess of previous managements. They have already started coming out of the woods but the only concern is the impact of the covid 19. I just pray with the impact of covid, they don't return to the days of huge NPLs. Fingers are crossed. DISCLAIMER: Heavily loaded. A significant part of my portfolio. FBNH Q2 2020 result would likely be out tomorrow |

rebekah2011: If their results did not come in by February 29, 2020, then they will pay fines and penalties to SEC. Why will they want to pay dividend when they still have loans to pay back? The company only has to show positives and investors will swoop on their shares. Paying dividend will only put them into more troubles. The new rule says 30th of January for unaudited result and 31th of march for audited result. I think they have already flouted the rule. |
