PoliticsBREAKING NEWS! Foreign Hostages Kidnapped In Nigeria 'killed' by Calebsky(op): 10:49pm On Mar 10, 2013
The Nigerian Islamist militant group's claims to have killed seven foreign hostages it seized last month are credible, Western governments say.

The hostages - from Italy, Britain, Greece and Lebanon - were captured in a raid on a construction site in the northern state of Bauchi.

BusinessRevealed At Last: Water And Bleach Produce 55w Of Power by Calebsky(op): 4:44pm On Jan 09, 2013
This was done in Philippines. Water and bleach in bottle of coke was fitted on the roof. It absorbs and reflects sunlight and is equal to 55 watt..
Very innovative. I guess the business minded can begin to package something and brand it so as to light-up our dark villages or even homes in the cities, LOL

PoliticsRe: Breaking News: FG To Procure 10 Million Phones Worth About N60billion by Calebsky(op): 4:55pm On Jan 03, 2013
Calebsky: BREAKING NEWS: The Federal Government is to procure 10 million telephone handsets worth about N60 billion from China and the US for free distribution to rural farmers across the country.

Questions:
•Are they buying blackberry porsche for these farmers?
•Are they going to preload the Presidents number in all the phones? As the reason for the purchase is because they want the farmers to have direct contact with the Government.
•Who did the calculation and came up with 10million farmers? Was Obasanjo counted as well?
•Even @ N50,000 per phone....how does it come up to N60billion?
•If they're buying the phones in bulk, doesn't it attract a large volume of discount?
•Did the farmers complain that their problem is a mobile phone?

Possible facts:
•Maybe Obama will distribute the phones himself.
•Maybe the phones have inbuilt shovel and fertilizer in them.
•Maybe the phones have inbuilt tractors.

Dem don start this year again! Last year was subsidy, this year is phone!
Fraudulent stupid unnecessary initiative. It shows our leaders are bereft of ideas or have ran out of ideas.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Oil Production Ends In 41 Years – World Bank by Calebsky(m): 6:09am On Oct 06, 2012
From the standpoint of the knowledge i have about Nigeria's proven reserves this report may not be completely credible. They(World Bank) keep altering these figures whenever they come up with their forecast. And like some persons have commented our unproven reserves can last us more than 3 centuries. We also have so much gas that is untapped one could say " Nigeria is an ocean of gas with sprinkles of oil here and there". A simple statement but pregnant with meaning. Think about it.

Nairaland GeneralDespicable Food Combinations by Calebsky(op): 1:12pm On Jul 13, 2012
I was in the office today and we were having a fun time discussing some issues when one of my colleague made some comments that rattled everyone into uncontrollable laughter. He made the following comments:

1. He remembered when he used to eat bread and drink 'kaikai' to step it down
2. He also drank palm wine with 'akara'
3. He saw one of his uncle taking 'bons', groundnut, and smoking benson to step down.

When he mentioned the last one some of us were really shocked and i started wondering if persons have any idea of funny or despicable food combinations.

If you have any, kindly share.

PoliticsFG To NIPP Contractors: Deliver By June Or Lose $10b Contracts by Calebsky(op): 2:05pm On May 23, 2012
[Daily Independent] The Federal Government on Tuesday threatened to revoke contracts worth over $10 billion if firms handling the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPPs) fail to deliver by the end of next month.

Abuja, according to James Abiodun Olotu, managing director and chief executive, Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), owners of the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP), thereafter plans to blacklist the erring firms from July.
Addressing journalists in Lagos after commissioning three NIPP projects, Olotu stressed government’s resolve to crush any impediment to its plan to deliver improved power supply to Nigerians.

“We have identified these contractors and they would be duly sanctioned if by the end of June they do not yield. The Presidency has given them the grace till the June ending to either perform or get their contracts revoked,” he said.

Flanked by the CEO of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), Engineer Chris Akamnonu, Olotu said the completion was in line with commitment made by the management of the power infrastructure company to complete and hand over power projects that on a monthly basis, for the benefit of Nigerians.

“No excuse would be entertained any longer. Nigerians have been patient with us enough over this issue, and we cannot allow anybody to hold the government back. We would, by July, commence sanctions against any contractor who fail to deliver by the end of June,” he reiterated.

Olotu noted further that the drive by NDPHC was re-enforced by the support and promise of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration to supply electricity to Nigerians, and to support the government power sector reform agenda.

According to him, government commitment was brought to bear during the last board meeting of NDPHC where its Chairman, Vice President Namadi Sambo directed that any transmission and distribution project contractors who are unable to achieve 50 per cent of their project delivery will have such contract revoked and re-assign to other performing contractors.

“I have said it when we were commissioning one of our completed projects last year in Lagos that our commitment is to deliver projects every month, I stand by that commitment” he stated.
He explained that the impact of the completed projects in Kaduna state are numerous, including improved quality of supply to all consumers, availability of spare capacity, and more importantly, installation of 525CSP transformers which make it easier to isolate faults, making repairs faster.

The epicenter is at d middle of the bus not d fuel tank... Definite bomb
There is a crater formation on d road with debris scattered in a circle away from d bus.... Definite bomb
Notice the whole bus is not burnt?... Shows that damage was swift,.... Not as seen inpetroleum explosions .... Definite bomb!!!
I tink ppl r just running away from the obvious scary truth dat dis threat has come down south.. Sad
