You just tell them. How hard can that be? What's the worst that can happen? They walk away from that friendship? Fine, aleast you've got your peace of mind intact. I don't displease myself for anyone. Ever. |
ladiesreject:To live right, you must FIRST learn to speak and act right.. You can't feign righteousness and outrightly condemn other people. It doesn't work like that. Plus, living Faith no be church, na business enterprise. Church weh na youths plenty pass that one na church? Brothers and sisters meeting to discuss how to fvck. Firstinline:It's adjacent to the government hospital along igbogbo road. If you're coming from laspotech/Agric, alight at ikorodu garage, then board a keke; tell him/her you are headed to inec, It's 100naira. |
Firstinline:Go to their head office. Ask for lacasera. Buy some recharge card for him, and you'd be amongst the first 10 persons that would be attended to. You can thank me later. |
I got mine the Nigerian way, after going four consecutive times and keep getting the no185 even when I got there as early as 6:00am.. I got frustrated and almost gave up. Until one alfar liadat told me the security man collects recharge card just to put one's name on the pre-form list as early as 5am, mehn.. na so my name enter no 3 Let's just say, I was amongst the first five who got registered on the fifth day. You see ehn, Nigeria is a very useless country. A country where doing the right thing would only cause you unnecessary suffer head and still make you look very stupid. I learnt to do it "the Nigerian way", I guess that's the only practical/obtainable way to get things done in this country. |
Bobrisky has transitioned right in front of our eyes and nothing has happened This right here is what transvisibility and bravery looks like. I wish more queer people can muster courage to live their truth by emulating her. We here n we queer. Haters y'all just have to learn to deal with it. ![]() |

MORROCO - UBANESE |
I was once stranded at peace park enugu sometime around January last year, someone had unknowingly to me snatched my purse from my bag, Thankfully I had my bus fare stuffed somewhere in my jean pocket, but unfortunately, I was 500naira short and my purse, ATM card, phone, all gone. I went over to the lady at the counter, narrated my ordeal and pleaded, that I have been patronizing their company for years, and should be considered. she gave me the we-are -sorry-but-there's-nothing-we-can-do-about-it look. I was dumbstruck. I could not afford to go back to nsukka. While I stood contemplating on what next to do, this middle-aged man walked up to me, told me he overheard my conversation with the other lady, right there, he counted 5k handed it to me and said, hurry now, catch the bus before it leaves.. Kai! I was like "sir, it's only 5h short not 5k" but he wave it off and walked away. My eyes were teary, I managed to mumble out a tank you sah. I couldn't believe what had just happened to me. This was the first for me. I had showed random art of kindness countless of times before, but never received it. That single art of kindness change how I saw the average igbo man. |
dominique:Unadulterated truth. It's a shame, really. |
Who compares Yoruba spicy jollof rice to igbo crayfish concoction rice in the first place? What kind of rough play is that? ![]() Spicy Yoruba party jollof over every igbocentric crayfish concoction rice anyday anytime! Tueh. |

I am always pessimistic about anything concerning Nigeria.. This would definitely fail as everything in this country continues to fail. Is it the same Nigeria where almost all her citizens are criminals that can manage it well or another? Which Nigerian is honest sef? Pfft |

AHCB:Basically its about deconstucting gender roles, and equality, so yes its about feminism. Interesting piece i tell you. Its a book i wish i could send to every woman who is raising a daughter in nigeria today. So she wont take alot of the crap our mothers and foremothers took, and also to every woman raising a son because we should all be feminist really. ![]() |
