Not always true. The system can be defeated with fact and proof. In this case, the female student has refuse to put a face/name to her voice. So there's literally nothing anybody can do to make that prof pay.

am I missing something here? Isn't the "voice note" proof enough ? If the system truly works, it wont be necessary to put a name or face to the female voice before charging the professor, because it was his voice and that of a female which would have to be a student, to be able to have that kind of conversation in the first place.

It's obvious the university community would rather protect their image, than make the useless professor pay for his crimes. And you want her to risk her life to a failed system that doesn't care about her well being? Come on Joe! why would she in the first place put a face to it? So, she can be dealt severely with? What's your point?

I tell you, if you want to fight the system, you only need to know how. That's all it takes. Many Nigerians are oblivious about how to bend or use the law.

i think, it's more of a deliberateness to not want to engage the system, for the few who are not oblivious to the law, because after that, then what? How many persons who have traded that part were successful? So what's the essence of knowing the law , when it's still wouldn't overtone anything in the first place?

My Nysc experience is a story i do hope Nigerian graduates don't have to keep telling in the future, I strongly see it as a waste of time and resources, which could be put into better use. "if anything ever is"
I did meet graduates who only spoke in pidgin not for the fun of it, but because they couldn't speak English.

My liason official siphoned funds allocated for community development and when I called him out, I was not only queried by my LGI, but my certificate was almost withheld, if not that I knew a big shot too.

did I mention, I met corpers who slept with the LGI for extra favors? I paid over 30 percent of my allowance to my LGI, just for him to come down to the interior part of community for monthly clearance and when I vented my grievence, he threatened to deal with me.

Do you know that, after a whole month of diligently sitting at work and doing little or no work, we had to pay our work coordinators to honour us with their dear presence and sign our monthly clearance sheet? They claimed it was due to the fact they hadn't been paid for months. I am guessing as " government officials that we were, it is our duty to pay salaries "

I am now of the opinion, that NYSC should be scapped, or aleast made very optional.
