PoliticsRe: Stop Heating Up The Polity, Sultan Group Tells Bishop Oyedepo And Ex-Militants by callmenow: 1:45pm On Feb 02, 2015
Rawani:
For the first time I support the Sultan. Why would an entire country be told their votes wouldn't matter, and their families risk death if Jonathan is not returned even if he clearly loses, which is most likely? I expect ALL Nigerians to demand a retraction and apology from the Islamic terrorist named Asari Dokubo.
I refer you to the following link:

http://www.wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/05ABUJA792_a.html

You will find that the sultan is a partial observer in the current 'crusade' by his boys. The expletive riddled sultan uses every trick in the book to entrench his Sunni ideologies on non Sunni and people of other religions. Did you what he did to zakzaky? The man, sultan does not believe in democracy. Boko haram does not believe in democracy. In short, everything that Boko haram are espousing is learnt at the feet of the man who wants the caliphate back.

kITATITA:
The purpose of this thread is to pay respect to our heroes who gave their lives defending our country. It is not about Buhari or Jonathan or anybody or anything. Stand up and respect the fallen heroes.
They were murdered by the collusion of APC, buhari, the Sultan who has refused to stop the carnage in the north eastern states. Why has young baby girls being used to immolate themselves and other citizens. These fearless, patriotic and gallant officers deserve justice. They must die in vain. Young men in love, full of plans for the future were ambushed and cut down by the Islamists in our midst.

reread what you just wrote and ask if it make sense.

telling people that if GEJ don't win that something will happen is freedom of expression abi
or saying you will open the gate of hell is also a freedom of speech.
I marvel at your thinking.

boko haram is an arm of APC but they are bombing the north that will bote for buhari, does dat makes sense ?

even a kid know those behind boko haram
Except if you are being mischievous, Shekau has stated that he hated democracy, but will vote for buhari and APC. WHY do you think that shekau has upped the ante recently? Why has buhari not condemned the daily atrocities as witnessed everywhere? Why the resounding silence of APC on the continuing atrocities.? Why has shekau stated on record that he will murder all pdp politicians in the north east? The truth hurts, but it sets us free, if we care. I was in Katsina recently, where there is fear and loathing. Violent intimidation is the order of the day. If you mention pdp or Jonathan in conversation, you are immediately reproached and given final warning. This is electoral malpractice before printing of ballot papers has been concluded.
PoliticsRe: Tribute To Officers And Soldiers That Fought Against Bokoharam But Died In The P by callmenow: 1:07pm On Feb 02, 2015
The Sultan of sokoto and Buhari must be sent these pictures of the pride of Nigeria. The should call their foot soldiers to order immediately. The blood of these gallant and fearless young men are crying out for justice. Buhari, tell your boko haram boys: 'enough is enough'. Nigeria is much bigger than buhari's vaunting ambition or APC win at any costs. If the Sultan puts the 'fatwa' on his errant boys, then we will continue with transformation of the blighted north east, with a modified Marshall plan, as promised by the Jonathan administration.
PoliticsRe: Stop Heating Up The Polity, Sultan Group Tells Bishop Oyedepo And Ex-Militants by callmenow: 12:37pm On Feb 02, 2015
Why don't he caution the YOUTH WING and armed unit of JNI, APC, also known as Boko haram to stop heating up the polity. This sultan's priority is all wrong methinks. All the people 'cautioned' are all peaceable citizens exercising their freedom of speech as guaranteed by the constitution as amended.

PoliticsRe: Calm Returns To Maiduguri As Soldiers, Civilian-JTF Foil Boko Haram Attack by callmenow: 6:02pm On Feb 01, 2015
APC are cursing their luck. Why can't buhari show patriotism by calling his boys to order. Why is it that buhari believes he will win by seizing Maidugiri? Even his fellow non waec graduates can tell him that without parting with any cow. Those who make peaceful election impossible will enjoy a violent election. We the silent majority are watching.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan’s Biggest Economic Mistakes — Pat Utomi by callmenow: 4:13pm On Feb 01, 2015
omenka:
I keep asking myself how we ended up with a guy like Jonathan. Intellectually, the guy is just too damn handicapped. He seems to be absolutely ignorant of the least requirements of leadership, let alone, possess same. Then what baffles me even more is how anyone with a brain of a human could support a guy like this to preside over the affairs of a state.

The quote above summarises all there is to the person Jonathan.
Jonathan is right to praise the fact for the first time, entrepreneurs have emerged, as well as middle class. Pat Utomi will be the first to criticize him if he did otherwise. OBAMA, Merkel and Cameron does what Jonathan did daily. Pat Utomi is a failed economics and politician. Just like Soludo. We should lose any sleep over what Jonathan or NOI may or may not have done. The fact is there on record, that Jonathan was nearly impeached when he wanted to lower the benchmark. Remember that the National Assembly over ruled Jonathan/NOI. We are in a constitutional democracy, and must accept situation when it goes wrong. Not shed crocodile tears when oil price falls. Jonathan is in order. Pat Utomi, Soludo, Buhari, Tinubu, Amaechi and APC were wrong and out of order. I advise Nigerians to vote accordingly. Vote for Jonathan who warned about the impending fracas over the economy
PoliticsRe: Open Letter To President Jonathan By Army Officers by callmenow: 5:38pm On Jan 31, 2015
Boko haram 2.0. These are APC supporters. Desperate SR and APC media outfits flexing. I seem to detect a trace of alarm and trepidation in APC media unit recently. May the best man win.
PoliticsRe: Nobody Can Intimidate Us, Oba Of Lagos Warns AIG Mbu by callmenow: 5:25pm On Jan 31, 2015
This useless Oba of Lagos is clearly partisan. He must be quarantined by the combative MBU. In a democratic setting, every citizen is equal, and must submit to the rule of law. This kind Oba is obviously a political stooge of TINUBU. There will be no APC RIGGING in Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Rotimi Amaechi In His APC-Customised Reflective Sunglasses (Photo) by callmenow: 7:31pm On Jan 30, 2015
Amaechi is desperately clinging to Buhari to avoid the attention of EFCC and ICPC after May 2015. He is clutching the straws. My better half hails from amaechi clan. Apparently amaechi does not want to be jailed. He should understand that all political lives end in failure.
PoliticsRe: Top 15 Most Performing Governors In Nigeria By Premiumratings by callmenow: 7:24pm On Jan 30, 2015
The governors were able to perform because the transformation president released their allocation when due. Due process of the Jonathan administration is clear. Instead of the abuser of human rights of APC. A man that used to slap other Nigeria if you upset him.
PoliticsRe: Murtala Foundation Offers Buhari Fresh Opportunity To Debate With Jonathan by callmenow: 4:18pm On Jan 30, 2015
Murtala foundation and the best American broadcasters cannot change a man gripped by fear. If he accepts this invitation, he will be exposed as a clueless, diabolical despot. I make bold to state that he will lose his core katsina, sokoto and KEBBI states, if he agrees. Imagine no lair MOHAMMED, amaechi, TINUBU next to him? He will freeze.
PoliticsRe: Court: No Troops For Elections by callmenow: 2:34pm On Jan 30, 2015
Soldiers will be required. Our police is not enough. It is the presidents call to decide whether soldiers are required. That is why he is the president. If soldiers will guarantee 'no rigging' in sokoto, then I will support it.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Can Afford To Ignore Boko Haram - Cynical Politics by callmenow: 2:28pm On Jan 30, 2015
Buhari is not sure of katsina. This theory therefore fails. The egregious speculation by APC stalwarts masquerading as journalist is grating on my nerves. Jonathan will win.

No we were not shocked by the decision of Buhari to boycott the fake debate. We were actually hoping for the boycott which we (his supporters) appreciate he made that decison. Why should we trust NTA/AIT and their fellow sellouts to conduct a fair debate? This is the same NTA and AIT in conjunction with their unprofessional lot in the media broadcast a propaganda documentary about the amiable General.

We were not shocked at all.

Here is Buhari debate of 2011 that Jonathan didn't show up for.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsRhP4eRFSU
We are seeing the alarming dark side of APC, Buhari and his thugs. Spiteful, vindictive, astonishingly lacking in respect and with no thought as to the consequences.

I am a Buhari supporter...the decision by APC not to participate in a PDP mouth organ debate did not come to me as a surprise but rather a welcome development....

It's is the PDP supporters that want to make political capital out of it....
Cowardly Buhari and his supporters. Pressure has stacked up on Buhari and APC to an almost unsustainable level. It is interesting that Buhari has cancelled his presidential opportunity.

I will prefer an honest and strong president to what we currently have. I remember the time of Buhari's previous presidency as a time when ALL Nigerians worked to be better stewards of their country. I hope to see that again. Anyone supporting the PDP now are in one way or another invested in the failure of our beloved country.
Buhari was a failure during the eighties. I bet you that he surely regrets throwing his hat in the ring this year. BABANGIDA will be thanking his lucky stars that he is not facing JONATHAN in 2015. The thing is that we are now in 2015. Democratic setting compared with the military era, when no question is tolerated. The APC emperor has been exposed with no clothes. Truly nigerians don't like what they are seeing. Admit that you choice in men is trashy and dirty. It is not too late to join the train to Transformation. It is now or never.

Were you taught comprehension in school?
I thought people like you should be in hiding, because of this shameful admission by your general with a small 'g'. That he was mostly a coward, talking tough about Boko haram. We were almost fooled. To retrogressives like you, all these are just a charade. A comedy for the hoi polloi? You must be a tragic imp to imagine that the grassroots will forgive this anomie. It will be remiss of me not to encourage the masses to reject this agbero called Buhari, with nothing to OFFER. Certificate forger, coward, murderer, despotic and belligerent traitor.

Consider this a lesson in Election winning 101. This is a wise and strategic move by the APC. Buhari is currently likely to win the election, there is no need to expose himself or play into the hands of the PDP. The PDP will use the debate medium to discredit him and try to force errors in an otherwise flawless campaign. Along with the on-ground campaigning, Google Hangout meeting with the public and TV appearances by APC surrogates, all main issues have already been discussed.

As for me and my household, we have decided for the APC! #ihavedecided

Sai Buhari!
So you want this tragic figure to rule your household. Can you send your mobile number here, so that I can send a one way air ticket for you and your household. So that you can spend quality time with your general.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Boycotts Presidential Debate by callmenow: 4:15pm On Jan 29, 2015
Buhari is a despot. Has never played according to the rules. A tragic Katsina mauler whilst HOS. I didn't know that he was also a coward. Buhari is turning out to be like his kinsman, Umar y'adua. What a contradiction? Jonathan was accused of being cowardly, clueless, etc. Yet Buhari has run away before gunfire, screaming bias at the creative industry. So Nigerian 'Generals' are also cowards? I now understand why the 'soldiers' in North East run away at the sound of gunfire. Buhari has now been exposed as Very unprofessional, clueless, disrespectful to nigerians, misbegotten and shameless. Fellow citizens, make sure your vote counts against Buhari and APC.
PoliticsRe: Oby Ezekwesili Reacts To Okonjo-Iweala's Response To Charles Soludo's Article by callmenow: 6:22pm On Jan 28, 2015
A case of bad belle. There was two ministers in OBJ led administration way back. Both were world Bank alumna. Yet one is a star, the other one is a plodder. NOI is the shining star. Although she looks frail and owlish, she lives and breathes financial rocket science. However, the plodder, Oby ezekwesili looks fit and fierce, is often seen as a loner and loose cannon. Both hated each other when they were in OBJ cabinet. The plodder does not rate the star. Oby is exhibiting the eboe woman trait of scorched earth policy when they are 'wronged'. Oby should go and sit down. If the tables were turned, NOI will be relaxed about Oby. Bitterness has become Oby's pastimes. The hatred she has developed for government and it's leaders is unrivalled. It is full-featured, full-time and all encompassing. I pray for her, before praying for Chibok girls. She needs it. She will be remembered for her enemies in high places.
Science/TechnologyRe: Power Generation Drops By 2,042MW by callmenow: 5:08pm On Jan 28, 2015
The double whammy of book haram insurgency in the north east and the unfortunate APC saboteurs explains the power shortage. I must now ask Jonathan administration to proscribe APC and book haram immediately since the legislature who are still being paid by us the tax payers have gone AWOL. APC will ruin Nigeria.

Sovereign wealth fund and other such schemes are fictional and imaginary schemes. What are the particulars of these "SCHEMES" How much is in them and where are they. What is the law governing the SWF was there a specific amount or was it open ended. Nigerians are not stupid. So all this bluff and bluster does not fool any any one.
The information about some of these schemes, approved by NASS can be found here. www.nsia.gov.ng

The bean counters, tell me that billions of dollars was invested for real. However you have to dig deep to unravel the inner workings of the schemes. Apparently, the money was invested in dollars denominated instruments. Therefore the value should be intact.

What is her fiscal policy please? Let us not just throw words around. Her fiscal policy has been a deficit policy over the last 4 years ? Are we talking about the same thing

Also I do not see what Fiscal policy has to do with Size of economy in this case. To attribute growthto fscal policy would make sense if there was some kind of expansionary policy with huge capital outtlays. All that has happened is REBASING in other words someone comes and tells us the old car in the yard is worth 600 and not 300 as the owner always believed . Good news? Maybe but when you sell that car yo cannot use the proceeds to buy two of the same type of car. We started measuring what has always been there but not measured like Nollywood and Mobile phone companies. Nothing new was added. We are talking an economy where interest rates are over 15% what kind of business can you do to make that?

Some of us know economics so please do not come here throwing words about
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to educate you. Fiscal policy is the way governmental expenditure and income influence the macroeconomics. Now what this means in Oshodi speak is how internally generated revenues (IGR), things like taxation and the capital expenditure affects businesses and even you and your household. you are also wrong about rebasing. In this context, there were economic activities that were excluded, as well as the fact that Nigeria's reference point is not in line with best practices. I personally believe that our economy is worth 1.3 trillion dollars, not the 500 billion that is vaunted. My reason? Most economic activities in Nigeria is unaudited and unheralded. Most beer parlour businesses don't pay tax. Onitsha and ABA does not generate much tax for state or federal revenues boards respectively. Yet in all the progressive countries, taxes forms the bulk of GDP accounting. I pay the full tax while in Europe, yet the people in my tax office in Lagos are always discouraging me from paying proper tax, by advising me to pay only #50000, and give them (settle) #50000 egunje. Yet I should be paying at least one million naira every year. I actually hate the whole business. But they tell me that everyone does the same. I plan to pay PROPER tax this year. Corruption therefore has kept our economy back.

The FG budgets have always been based on a benchmark and oil has consistently sold above the benchmark. The difference between the two is the SURPLUS .That is simple accounting. All those details are distractions. The Facts of relevance are the Budget benchmarks in terms of price and volume. We are all aware that there have been several episodes of SHARING ECA. The fact is whilst the states are entitled to do so the FG is NOT without passing a supplementary budget. Did this happenhuh
You are very enthused by sharing, etc. Any surpluses was put in the sovereign wealth fund, and other such schemes. Sadly, you cash these funds to share. Only the notional interest can be drawn down intermittently.
