Take it easy bro...

Me I once tried correcting misinformation especially about tech here on Nairaland but got feed up of all those derailers.
And the worst part is that the moderators WILL NOT see anything wrong with the words they are using, but once you reply them in the same manner, GBAM!!! you'll be banned from commenting for 99 years!!!

Phones / Re: A Bluetooth Neckband With Long Lasting Battery. A Honest Review by callydon(m): 1:52pm On Jun 17, 2022
OCTAVO:

This one that I bought for N8900 is very good. It's been 7 months now.
If you are looking for bass, I will rate it 7/10.
The major advantages of this one is that it can't break easily. It also has low radiation, infact Doctors use this because it doesn't interfere with medical equipments.
Battery wise, I use for like a week without charging. Average of 3- 5hrs daily, just when I need to watch videos.

This sounds nice, would really love to get it. Any idea where I can get it, I am not in Lagos

Chai!!!

Who do us dis thing naaaaahhhhh....
In 2022 a phone dt uses "full charge in just 2 hours 30 minutes" as an advert point is being sold in dis country? While phones with similar battery capacity are being charged in 60mins, or max 90mins.
And the stylish avoidance of mentioning the chipsets inside is enough indication that whatever they've put inside is a mediocre chipset.
People should better avoid this phone to avoid stories that touch.

Currently using a RN7. Warranty expired.
I did a phone reset and since that time, my camera has stopped working, including all apps that require camera function (Camscanner, WhatsApp status update, Adobe reader, etc).

Whenever I call up the camera, I just get the error message "Still cannot connect to camera. Try restarting your device ". See screenshots.

What can I do to resolve the issue?

Have u tried FORCE RE-STARTING THE PHONE (ie pressing the power button until the phone restarts).
You might want to also try doing RE-SET again .
Also check if there's any pending update for you to do.

Career / Re: Should I Continue With My Bank Cleaner Job Or Work In The Filling Station by callydon(m): 2:38pm On Feb 07, 2022
IF you av a good accommodation in lagos, I'll suggest you stay in the bank especially considering dt you want to continue with school.
In d bank you'll av EVERY WEEKEND plus public holidays for yourself.
In d fulling Station, you'll ONLY get a day off duty every week (though most filling stations do a shifting job).

For d making of money in d filling station, d filling station needs to be a very busy one for you to make some change there (but note that you could also lose money there as you'll av a daily visit of crooks, fraudsters, etc who'll try to outsmart you).

All in all, it depends on you.

Ọmọ! I don't know o. Na just once i don go house since i began schooling here and na Iddo park i dey follow, from Lagos to Jalingo then to Yola. Na from Ijora 7-Up my friends dey enter Motor and i think they take the Abuja route.

Please how many days/hours does this ur route take?

And is from Iddo park to Jalingo to daytime journey, or night travel?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Job In Maiduguri: Do I Accept? by callydon(m): 3:56pm On Dec 30, 2021
modupeayomide:

You did the wrong thing. Have you been to Maiduguri? Do you have associates who have been to Maiduguri? Asides from what we hear in the News, do you know the current state of Maiduguri? You people should stop discouraging others from opportunities that might benefit them. I school in Adamawa State and i chose the federal university here at a time when the media was rife with news of bombings in the North East. Prior to coming here, i no sabi anybody, i no even sabi where dem dey enter Motor go Yola from Lagos but i sha wan go school. Infact i slept in a Bus in the park when i arrived for my post UTME. If i had listened to people and the Media, i won't be in School and i won't have all the beautiful opportunities i currently enjoy. I have not been to Maiduguri but i have close friends and course mates who are from Maiduguri and they have beautiful things to say about their state, no matter how short a break may be, you see them rushing back home for the break.
The people here are good and life no hard. Just face wetin carry you come and respect the norms of the people.
True, there is the issue of Boko Haram and insecurity but you should have made necessary findings before declining the offer. If the Job is genuine, then you did not help your friend at all. Would i encourage anyone to take a well paying job or School in Maiduguri? Definitely! Just make necessary findings from the right people

Good day, please what's d best route /option to get to Yola from Lagos.

Thanks

Thats why i like Nokia

You can leave Nokia idle for 24hrs with 4% battery, when you come back you will still be left with 4%

But my Xiaomi Note10s if you leave it idle for 24hrs with 100% battery, if you come back you will be left with 73% battery (with no data turned On)

Please can you sell ur Redmi Note 10s to me, I so much love phones that drain 37% in 24hrs.

I have both 8.93 and 8.95. same problem
Do you use a RN10 pro?
When on the website, what version exactly do you download?

Note the PACKAGE NAMES, IF the first one doesn't work for you download d second one with another package name.
There's even a third option with another package name, download d one that works for you.

NB: Uninstall any previous version you have in ur phone already as the installation files might be conflicting with each other.
