India already had the virus from China as at January. Tell us when they banned flights entirely from China....
And I don't understand the useless travel ban they imposed on Italians or foreign nationals who traveled to Italy when their own citizen can still bring in the virus from Italy just like the first case they got from Italy. A 3 year old Indian still brought in Corona virus from Italy to India as at March 7th sef.

By the way, as for the rest, when you're comparing, tell us the first case of Corona virus there & when they banned flights from all countries with high numbers of cases, not just from Italy. Don't just give us dates to suit your argument.

And I expected you to help the guy I quoted tell us the date South Africa banned flights everywhere & how many Corona virus cases they had then since you claim the guy is right.

That was actually India’s first case from Italy - it was not specified. I’ve now amended it. The rest are accurate.
But the point is, they had their first Italian case today, the very next day they banned flights from Italy.

Mention one tropical (warm and humid), relatively poor place where corona succeeded. You can’t.

Now, If a place is too hot AND rich, people will spend most time inside air conditioning and corona will spread indoors. Part of the reason tropical weather works is that people are forced to spend time outside. While in cold weather people spend time indoors giving any flu-like more chance to spread.
Also sunlight causes deterioration of corona.
Also cold weather suppresses immune response.
Then there is the immune-boosting vitamin D from our hot sun. Add all those things together and u can start to guess why half of Lagos don’t yet have corona and why tropical people don’t seem to ever catch the deadly form of covid19!

As per hot/warm water, it is known that at certain high temperatures, some bacteria/virus do not thrive and I guess that's why everyone is recommending drinking of warm water.

It is not views and opinions. It is called SCIENCE. The places u mentioned are not among the hot spots of corona. Also they are neither humid nor poor. If a place has too much air-conditioning corona will spread indoors. The criteria are WARM, HUMID, and relatively POOR. In other words tropical weather and poor.
Drinking warm water and avoiding ice in a hot place to kill corona is ridiculous. Does corona reside in the stomach?

There has been transmission of coronavirus in countries with similar weather.

People are not just naturally immune to viral infection.
No correlation with the hot weather or climate, it has not be statistically proven that hot weather prevent viral infection.

SARS which has same transmission method affected many birds in Nigeria, HIV which has a different transmission method but same virus family is well alive in Nigeria.
