i am signing up for the EE application, but need to get some fact clear. i want to apply alone though am married with 2 kids. i will like to declare my family in the EE profile but i will be the only one applying due to financial implication of the application fee and settlement fee. Can some one explain the implication of this? i will love my family to join me later when am already granted the PR and get things prepared for my family on arrival. thank you

Hello, whether you apply alone or with dependents, you'll still have to show POF and Medicals for you all and PCC for yourself and dependents of required age.
I'm sorry you'll have to source POF.... In addition, family sponsorship may take about 1 year and I don't think it should be an option if your crs score is OK

Sorry for those who had their Degree in other fields but did the NYSC 1 year Compulsory Teaching how do they claim their experience for that period without a degree in Education?.

Thanks bro. You really covered alot because i was thinking of that affidavit.

I didnt want to open a divorce proceeding yet because i foresee the individual coming to her senses in the future and i wanted to take her back when that happens.

But guess i have to take the divorce route. Only the time it would take might be an issue.

Secondly, would evidence of an ongoing divorce proceeding serve?

Hey Bro! Leave out the Divorce you obviously love her...

Allow some time for the relationship to heal... You could get a friend or relative spill your travel plans to her and make her understand you love her so much that you'd rather add her to your application than go the divorce route.... I guess she'll agree to take the Medical test and Passport. Who knows, this might reconcile you guys.

My concern is if the two one semesters will amount to a full session then I will possibly do that by beginning of the next year

They'll send transcripts for level 4 and 6.... That's 6 papers... This level will yield BTW 1-3 years

Hi fam,

I have searched the previous threads and checked out Glitteringstar's feedback on below but i didnt see the part that had the *one semester* bit.

So here is my question...

My ECA says "Completion of a college-level certificate (one semester) and bachelor's
degree (four years)"
does this still imply 2 or more certificates because of the "one semester" clause?

Tainkiu!

Hello! Good evening, please what credentials did you send for evaluation? Please what credential earned a 1 semester outcome?

The journey first started on Australia PR thread May 2016. I made my research about the process and what it will cost, after my research I initiated my assessment with ACS and my assessment came out positive.
I told myself that this is a green light to go ahead with the process. I happen to be in India that period, so I wrote PTE-A in India and got 10 points while I need 20 points.
After Australia started a new calendar year for ITA in 2017 (Sept as compared to Canada that starts January), my occupation score was increased to 70 points where I was still looking for 10 points ohh. I said my village people have started their over time.
One spirit said to me “don’t lay your eggs in one basket”.
I visited Canada PR and Canada Student visa thread and was following slowly just to understand the process.
Summarily, I applied for student visa and was refused. After all the money I spent. Then I opted for the Canadian PR and decided we die here.
Loo and behold here we are.
Sep 2017 IELTS - LRSW = 6.5 6 6.5 7 (I was over humbled, after all my over confidence)
14 Oct 2017 IELTS – LRSW = 7.5 7.0 7.5 8.0
20th Jan – 2018 IELTS – LRSW = 8 7.5 7.5 7.5
ITA – Feb 7 2018
AOR – March 14 2018
IP2 – 6th of August
PPR – 9th August

Please folks hang in there, it will surely come. The joy is surely worth the wait and the stress.

Special thanks to you all.

Sunvick I know this story very very well Bro... I'm so so happy for you. Big congratulations....

Good day my people,
Please I will like to inquiry something and will appreciate responses on it .
1. Is it mandatory that a gift deed must be average of 6 months before it will be used as a POF?
2. My biological mum have promised to give me a gift once I get my ITA, please will it have any negative impact on my PR process if I use it as my POF once gotten just after ITA?
3. I have a diploma of two years and a degree of 3 years, please can I use both as TWO OR MORE CERTIFICATE OPTION?

1. No
2. No
3. Yes if both are assessed that way.
Please take some time and study page 0

Good afternoon bro, Please i am interested in this program. How sure are we that it will get positive evaluation from WES and others? I asked cos it is being organised by Unilag HRDC. I hope you get my point

We are hopeful it will.
First, Unilag is a recognized institution and HRDC programs are approved by Unilag.
Second, based on the fact that it is regulated by Unilag Senate and it takes 2semesters to complete, we are sure the program will have a good content.

A quick one for those looking for ways to increase their CRS scores by gaining points for 2 or more certificates...

We are enrolling for the Unilag HRDC Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and we hope to round off by January.
Registration is expected to end this Friday and Application fee is #7,500...

We hope this will be positively assesed and yield a 1 year evaluation outcome.
You could register if interested

Hello good people. I submitted my WES application today and didnt carefully check that the name on my document is not what I filled in application-the first letter of my middle name is not on my documents like ADEOLU and DEOLU. Is this going to be an issue?? Thank you[quote]

I think you should call WES customer service and send them a message to report this error. They should give you an accurate response.
I think they really go with the names on your passport + transcripts.

Thanks for us response, but am not quite clear. Do you mean I should include the work experience post ITA? If I do, will CIC still ask for her reference? Since she is not claiming any point for work experience.

Yes. You can include all her work experience you don't want to claim points for in the personal history section without providing reference letters.

many thanks. I would continue as PA having read some peoples' experiences in the past.

Can I evaluate just my Masters degree or do I need to d both degrees.

I have also been reading stuffs that have to do with visa refusals. Btw 2013 and 2016, I had half a dozen refusals from the UK. Would it pose any issues.

Thanks

Evaluate only your Masters degree. A lot of persons with previous refusals have gotten PPR so you'll be fine.

Hmm, It is well with me. Team London VO, AOR Jan 30th. I was 100% sure, my PPR will be out within 3 months. My IELTS score was perfect, no visa refusal, straight forward and well packaged application.

We got our IELTS at one sitting, ECA evaluation within 1 month because we both have masters from UK, POF gathered without much hassle, work reference straight forward.

This is truly a journey of patience. I have cried many times, prayed and rejoiced. Right now, I am standing strong and trying to go on with my life because at some point I was depressed.

Been a challenging year! Hubby and I lost our Jobs early this year. I was lucky to get one soon after. Hubby still struggling. All funds tied to POF which we cant touch. It was a struggle to pay school fees for our kids in April. Infact, we almost didn't send them to school because we were 100% sure of PPR and we even lacked the funds. House rent is due August 2018. We have started toasting the landlord to allow us pay monthly.

Let us all keep being strong, delay is not denial. It will end in praise for us all.

Congratulations to all PPR!

I can understand. You'll be fine.

Good evening all,
My friends completed their express entry applications. One was eligible and the other was found ineligible. And the both are going through pnp. What could be wrong? Here are their profiles.

Ineligible Profile;
Age: 28
Work experience: three years
Education: bachelor's degree fours years Canadian equivalent
Ielts: speaking :7.5,listening: 7.5, reading:6.0, Writing: 7.5

Eligible Profile:
Age:32
Work experience: three years
Education: Masters Degree
Ielts: speaking : 8.0, listening: 6.5, reading:6.0, writing 6.5

Friend1 should retake ielts and aim for LSWR: 8.5, 7.5, 7.5, 8 as well as look for means to get 2or more certificates and she'll be fine.

Friend2 should retake ielts and aim for LRWS:8,7,7,7
They both will qualify without nomination.

hello house, great job being done here. a question from a first timer on this thread.

We intend to going for the FSW, a family of 3;

I am a graduate of architecture with a Masters degree (34yrs in a few months)
Working for about 8years post Masters degree(for architect graduates, masters run concurrently after 1st degree)
I have been running private practice (LLC) fully for the past 5 years( with an irregular income) after leaving paid employment in 2013

Wife is a banker with a Bachelors and 4 years working experience.(29yrs old)
a child with US citizenchip

Doing a quick assesement with an IELTS score(with both of us taking the test) that is good it appears that I should be the PA.

My question however is who's best to be the PA with reference to irregular income

thank you

You'll be fine as PA if you can provide documents for the 3 years work before your private practice OR you could add your previous employment to your private practice to make 3 years if your company has Bank statements and Tax documents and if you can get letters from clients for required duration.

Your wife could also look for means to acquire 2or More certificates and shoot as PA.
