Realife4:English - Zero Education - Not beyond SSS3; time wasted. Future - Dubious Character - Very dangerous Skill - Fraud Shame - None Value to society - Nothing Head - Full of Igbo! |
128kg or Residency. Tell that to a Nigerian who has suffered under APC first and hear the response. |
Simeonjoe1:And who says those food sellers do not have bank accounts? How many of them know how to use their phones? Who says you cannot purchase items worth over 20K in the traffic? Do you only think that it is the guguru and ekpa hawkers alone who sell products in the traffic? What about those who sell household items? Who says all most of those people mentioned do not have bank accounts? I was simply looking at those who it would definitely impact on instantly; those who think that banking is not necessary or simply a waste of their time. I am saying that the policy has the added advantage of safeguarding people’s funds. It has the advantage of curtailing crimes. It has the advantage of checkmating the excesses of fraudulent POS operators. |
Parachoko:Have you forgotten that 100K in the pockets the wealthy is nothing? |
Hmmmmm. OP na how the break to watch match dey go you go take pictures abi na women front ayound back you go dey take picture? No be say your holiday na women you go spend am with? If dem hold you, you go say na village people. Ataya for the OP. |
garfield1:Garfield why now? You dey her bank account? You dey work for EFCC, ICPC or court? The cases were dismissed after serious investigation. Leave the matter so. |
thebosstrevor1:It definitely will slow down business for POS people and send some packing. Why go to POS when you can use ATM or your bank App/USSD to make your transfer and avoid the extra charge of the POS operators? Nigerians cannot move about without the feel of cash in their pockets. Nigerians in the interior areas transact with cash only. Farmers and hunters use cash only. The road side food stuff sellers along Benin-Ore-Shagamu road only use cash. Hawkers in go slow transact cash only. What about the owambe people? How can you show that you have arrived, if you cannot spray cash openly? The fact remains that Nigeria will become safer, with far less cash in the pockets of people. Thieves will not see money to steal. If they succeed to steal gold or precious items, the buyers will be put at risk, if they pay through the banks. With no cash to buy, there will be no purchase of the stolen items. Infact reducing the amount of POS operators will give the citizens more peace of mind. Without POS operators, those who steal ATM cards, hack phones, etc, will not have access to claim from peoples accounts. It definitely will impact negatively, but with time it should get better. |
They will serve the time in prison. While in prison, from time to time they will think about their lives. If they are given long sentences, they will regret their actions. After spending the long prison term, they will come out in the middle age, with too many changes in infrastructures, society and people. They will keep regretting, while hoping to get assimilated into their new found surroundings. Maybe now they do not have children or families. They will begin the financial struggle from the beginning, while wearing the tag “ex convict”. Why commit the crime? A little patience, a little more decent work and the wealth will follow. |
LordviccoDaGuru:Buhari is the best thing that has happened to you. We see it clearly in the level of bewitchment and complete blindness that you suffer. Continue. Emi lo kan is waiting to service you with more misery and poverty. |
Hahahahahahahaha. Let it not be what we all know oo. |
Franzinni:Nobody sent him to do that. It was his choice. When he was asked for evidence that he sold two houses, he said that he did not have any. Clearly it meant that the man did not sell any house. He was being sentimental. As a lawyer, he was asked "show us the account wey you keep the N135m". The man say e no get am. So it was an imaginary N135m or as they say fake N135m. Abeg Bros, why should I be breaking it down for you like this free of charge? The woman gave him all the time. He had the first refusal, but failed. He could not meet the asking price of N170m. At N135m, he still did not have the money. He had only N90m and would have pushed to lock it in and more time to source the balance He used military mentality, but it failed. It's not that easy finding suitable buyers in the property market. The woman took her opportunity. If he had a signed document with the woman with respect to more time, purchase and sales, the woman would have honored it by the terms of the agreement. They never had issues as landlady-tenant. The man felt the pain because he was emotionally attached to the house He can save the money, if he actually sold two houses, to purchase another property in Dolphin estate. |
Because Obi exposed them all. |
Manny21:Correct. Greed, impatience, laziness. The youths think that farmers are poor people, by merely looking at small time farmers. Unfortunately the biggest names in our country own massive farms. The youths think 9 - 5 jobs will not allow them purchase their desired Rolls Royces, without realizing that with hard work and time they can get it. Parents support their children to commit these crimes. Some sell off the family properties to equip their children to get involved with drugs and fraud. The young man, definitely has left a terrible mark on his name. He will be called an ex convict all his life. His parents would be addressed as parents of an ex convict. EFCC will strip them of all they accumulated. His mother will hide the George materials and beautiful shoes that she bought with the money. His father will no longer drive that car his son purchased in his name to their place of worship. In their community in Benin, his parents cannot lift up their faces anymore. The sleep of the entire house has been taken away. By fire by force, now they will learn that vanity upon vanity is vanity. For those of you youths out there who think fraud is the way, please get out now. You can genuinely use your laptops and phones to make money they will be pleasing to you and to your family. |
Franzinni:Please read the part where the man told the court that he did not have evidence of the account into which he deposited the N135m. He was asked if the landlady asked him to sell his two houses and he answered no. Read o. |
fuckingAyaya:Why not? |
Mandate2023:Your MUMU life has a password, obviously. You left the substance and chased the shadows. A governor accused lawmakers in his own party, running the state with him. The President accused the same governor, telling him his failure, straight in his face. You, with your empty pocket, read through as an illiterate, proceeded to accuse lawmakers of other states. I believe that you either look like an agama lizard or an owl. Whichever one you look like, I encourage to continue disgracing yourself. Muntula. |
shariff84:50Kg bag? Do you sell one only? |
Not in Lagos? |
OP, please do not deceive those who do not have knowledge of what “signage” is all about. Looking at what was posted, OP was wrongly insinuating that Rivers signage board was taxing POS operators for doing their businesses, rather than that they were being taxed for adverts. In Lagos state there is LASAA, (with their headquarters at Alausa), that is in charge of adverts. Signage refers to advertisements by companies, irrespective of size or capacity. When you advertise using billboards, banners, signboards, electronic or printed, you will be taxed. You are expected to pay, otherwise your board will be removed. That’s what happens in Lagos, just like other states. Lagosians pay it without complain. OP is simply being mischievous and the gullible have fallen for it. If Lagos legitimately raises revenue from LASAA, why is it illegal to raise revenue by the same method in Rivers state? I saw the receipt posted there clearly showing Rivers Signage. The charge is perfectly legal. |
TheChameleon:Thankfully you said you are not voting for ekute. You may vote for Opolo eyes or even ekute, as a charmeleon. Na you sabi that side. We are OBIdient. We will vote for a better future. No vex too much, you hear? |
Let’s pray for safety and peace. We pray that the eyes of the evil men in the name of bandits, terrorists, herdsmen, boko haram, Iswap, etc, be blinded at all times. We pray that their bullets, grenades, charms, bombs and dynamites be turned against them. More so we pray that all forms of wayo by NRC officials, security agents along the routes should fail. We pray that this time next year, 2023, we should be celebrating Christmas and the end of the year with the best man for the job, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, popularly known as Okwute. |
Racoon:Do not forget that for some Justices of the Supreme Court, age is not on their side. This call for the resignation of Ariwoola, CJN, may be found in jealousy and the interest of some judges to get to that seat before their retirement dates. |
Middle of November |
Hopefully we can all vote right. Get APC our of power. Turn brain drain into brain gain. Obi plans to do that with STEM. With Obi, our nation has better hope. We will not have a president who will abdicate his responsibilities. Obi will take questions head on and give you the proper answers. With Obi, solutions will be found. Get your PVC ready. Vote not on the basis of sentiments, tribe or religion. Vote for intergrity, accountability, honesty and a better nation. OBI IS THE RIGHT PERSON. |
Nonsense. He was head of state from 1994 up till 1998. He tried to become the civilian president, but the plan for him unfortunately failed. Maybe if he was the president, with his goons in position, he could have been in power for 30 years. After all he had practically silenced the opposition. How could he then have achieved power rotation, with his plan to hold on to power? |
alanto:Olodo. No be alantako I see as your name so? Truly your comment shows you as an alantako. |
Obidients are waiting to show you all how it is done. We are OBIdient! |
Nonsense. They were and are still friends. By the way what did Melaye mean by “Prime minister of London”? |
festacman:How did your comment sound to you? Did you read and think deeply before posting? |
seunmsg:You no kuku get shame before. A man with a TV station, avoided using even his own platform to take questions from the people that he intends to lead. That’s how all of you swallowed hook, line and sinker, the lies and deceit pre 2015 that Nigeria would get better under Buhari. Here we all are today, with a nation far worse off than it was before 2015. You all still pretend that all is well. BAT deflected the questions addressed to him and got his “team” to answer the questions, when it is not his team that it on the ballot. The same man plans to go from London to America to address Nigerians, who reside in Nigeria on how he intends to lead, through proxies. What a show of shame. What was successful about the jamboree, when questions on oil theft were posed to him and he got someone who knows absolutely nothing about the oil industry to respond. No be only CNN in the pipeline, but inside the container. Jagbajantis intete. |
