Lawyer said: Hmmm . . . . This is interesting! Let me see if Canuck can really interprete profiles but i am so sure he will Mis-cue my own The more you look the less you see. ================================================= Nice one trying to instigate me into assessing you quickly ![]() Anyway, your wait is over - You're next! |
=== Username: Babasexy Profile Pix: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=417852 Pix Summary: A female Caucasian dressed in simple city clothing and pulled back blonde hair, standing and gazing into vegetation. Her gaze is midway, not to the horizon. The location does not appear to be a farm, as there is no organization to the vegetation, while the altitude rises in the horizon. The building blocks of an unfinished structure seen at the lower bottom left corner of the pix suggest that this might not be a park in the West, but an undeveloped area in Nigeria (since this is NL). What your pix says to me: If the Land of Enjoyment ever elects a President, you will win. . .unopposed! You a fervent advocate of Friedrich Nietzsche declaration, “Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!” You don’t mind getting into the weeds of unknown territory if fun is waiting on the other side. You do things for the prize, not necessarily for the process. You are definitely not a loner – The bigger your crowd, the broader your smile. Despite projecting yourself as looking out for your own fun, you have a heart for people and may go out of your way to assist, if able. You are hard working and appreciate industry. Finally, your time horizon on enterprises, relationships, etc, appear to be short term; they've got to pay dividend early or risk losing your attention. === |
rasputinn:Once again, I agree with you, though they provide a very solid guide to self development. rasputinn:Heheheee. . .It usually takes a fellow capitalist to want to pay for such services, and they know where to find me ![]() Also, I use this skill as one of the tools for what I do for a living - So, it does ring up the cash register. . .I am only providing a variant of it for free to the good folks on NL ![]() |
=== Username: jugz Profile Pix: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=207975 Pix Summary: A skinny lady with a hand bag and flowing hair says (with as much attitude as she can muster), “Too often, we lose sight of life’s simple pleasures. . .” The background is pink. What your pix says to me: You detest being predictable, conventional or banal – You have what it takes to master the art of the punch-line, where you sway people one way and conclude in an astounding manner. When faced with a project, many people may fuss about starting, but what gets your attention is bringing it to a glorious, gun-blazing conclusion. Emotionally, you wish to be portrayed as strong – In reality, you’re soft on the inside. Though your avatar is skinny, you may have a body-image issue going on, or you are just concerned about staying skinny. You pick up very quickly on patterns in tasks, people, etc. You have a fairly good understanding of the levers you have as a lady, and you’re not shy or hesitant about pulling them – Some women may learn one or two things from you about the strength of their femininity. Finally, most people are either expressive (outgoing) or reflective (inward-looking), but you have a rare combination of both qualities. === |
kaypinchi:Hahahahaaa. . . Your kind generousity is appreciated. The assessment is on the house! Thanks for the feedback. I am sure you will develop a plan to build on the strengths and blow up the weaknesses. Take care. |
=== Username: smile4kenn Profile Pix: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=6493 Pix Summary: A hen leading her six chicks; five golden coloured chicks are visible, and a dark coloured one is hardly noticeable. The hen appears poised to move, or it’s on the move, but the chicks are mostly flat-footed and stationary. What your pix says to me: Theoretically speaking, you have no issues with authority – both exercising it and conforming to it. However, in reality, you may have a greater challenge with the former than the latter. You believe that an authority (or more) outside of you will play significant roles in your life accomplishments, therefore people you allow into your circle of influence are critical to you as you’re not a go-it-alone kind of person. You have a strong sense of camaraderie; therefore you should seek a healthy and balanced social life or risk being distracted. This also means you are dependent. Majority of the population would write kindness received in sand and carve pain suffered on stone – You have it transposed, much to your credit – You carve kindness received in stone and pain suffered in sand. When hurt, you are able to move on to get along. Finally, nothing stands between you and a good laugh! === |
![]() Inshort nutin to do again Mr oga madam . Canuck more butter to your bread jare ,carry on.
You're funny! Thanks rita@NL; I really appreciate your feedback and follow up questions on my assessment. The Italians say, "Ignorance is a voluntary misfortune." Ignorance of self, I think, is the greatest misfortune. Glad to see you chose to head the other way. *Thumbs up!* |
hypertech:Thanks hypertech. Yes, your pix is different, but it's screaming with who you are. I have a variety of magazines and a movie running in the 'waiting room' to engage you while I get to your avatar. . .One moment please ![]() |
@poster, I was thinking you were going to tell me if my assessment of u in the 7th page of this thread was right or wrong. well i should have guessed that you'd rather say nothing. giving my assessment of you, that is the typicall person you are. I am not an expert like you, but given my little knowledge of psychology, i though i should give it a shot. but tell me if i was near right or wrong just for my own benefit.
You are an interesting guy, frank 3.16 ![]() OK, here's more feedback on your assessment of me on page 7 - It was a good attempt, and a gutsy one at that. You had some bright spots, but your conclusions were overreaching. Having said, saying you have 'little knowledge of psychology' is not giving yourself enough credit - You are stronger than average folks. You definitely have your head screwed on right in that department. Keep on truckin' |
Nezan:Thanks for the question Nezan - It will mean me ![]() |
posakosa:Good morning/afternoon/evening ![]() |
Hi Canuck! Go ahead with my picture, tell me the negative things I need to change to make 'me' a better 'me'.
Sure thing. On the negatives, let's do it this way - (1) Let me know if you agree with the assessment, then (2) If you do, then I can proffer some areas of development Please note that #2 will be as subtle as possible because NL has troll kings and divas waiting to pounce on your negatives. Kapish? |
palmwine:LOL! So, that's you?! I love that pix so much I used it in a presentation last month! (Canadians love their squirrels, which will probably be hunted as 'bushmeat' in naija ). OK, I think I have something on you now; but please give me some time. . .There are other 'clients' ahead of you in the 'waiting room' ![]() |
CuteAngel:Awww. . . That's so cute (You know some firebrands are going to yab you for your post, right? ). You are on my list, right after Lawyer.Problem is it's 3:20 a.m. here and I need to hit the sack. Will definitely squeeze it in 2morrow. Take care. PS: Your avatar is rib-cracking! I hear the guy's being sued for manipulating people into his show. |
=== Username: bluespice Profile Pix: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=153767 Pix Summary: A rare 5-speed stainless steel blender with the words, “The faster you go the bigger the mess”. The content of the full blender is viscera (soft internal organs of the body) – Identifiable organs include the heart, liver, intestine, and brain. There is no fluid in the blender. PS: The content is shocking, yet not particularly gross. What your pix says to me: You can be very direct and in-your-face, even diplomacy may achieve the desired result. You are quick-witted, very confident in the things you know and you believe spot a pretender from a mile away. While some people have deep knowledge in a few subjects, you pride yourself in the breadth and variety of your expertise. You love to learn new things and try to be ahead of the curve on new information - If you’re not the trend-setter in your circle of influence, you are a very quick adopter. You are at home with some things that grosses out (repulse) a good number of people, but you have a way of hand-holding them in an attempt to bringing them up to speed. Finally, you lead the way in DEDICATION - You put everything you have (brain, heart & intestine ) into what you do and relationships you have.=== |
bluespice: Hats off to you for reading the entire thread. . .You just bumped your way up on the list of avatars I am about to assess. In fact, you're next! |
@rasputinn On your question regarding what the assessment would have been if you had The Arsenal crest as your avatar. Like oga plamwine, it gives very little to work with, except cookie cutter assessments like - loyal, passionate and competitive ![]() I delibrately avoided such avatars |
palmwine: Thanks. Unfortunately, Seun has a portrait pix. That's outside the scope of this exercise, which is purely for non-portrait pix. |
rasputinn:Not sure what you mean by "story" . . .Is the term psychometric tests new (or theoretical) to you? I obviously can't be as accurate as those tests (e.g. MBTI, DiSC, etc) because of the volume of participants' choices their assessments are based on. I am only going with ONE choice you've made in form of your avatar. End of story ![]() |
Posted by rasputinn: It's amazing how you could possibly draw so much conclusion from my profile picture(I have a sneaky feeling you read some of my posts before my avatar told you about me) BTW,my avatar is not a natural tree,it's actually not a tree, not even a redwood nor is it a greenwood ,it's a telecommunication mast used instead of the usual steel masts/towers to preserve the natural aesthetics of the location. So you're wrong A question, what would my "avatar" say to you about me if I were to revert to my immediate past one;The Arsenal crest And Oh,what your posts(sorry I can't assess you based on your avatar) say to me is that you're one smart fella who is not shy to venture into new terrains and generally take calculated risks =============================================================================== Thanks for the feedback. Wow, the telecom aesthetics fooled me, but my assessment would not have changed - I probably would have added that you seek creative means of solving a problem, just making the problem go away is insufficient for you. On reading previous posts, well, I do not. That will defeat the objective of the exercise. I shared some of my "secrets" with stillwater (I think) in a Sunday post on this thread when she too wondered if I read her past posts. BTW, your assessment of me about taking calculated risks is accurate; I don't have a comment on the 'smart fella' observation, but I love to explore. |
palmwine: Thanks for your follow up. Apologies. I'm not one to ignore - Your avatar is stumping me as it's just too direct. Username = Palmwine; Avatar = Palmwine. . . Na wetin?! ![]() It will just take longer as I don't really have much to go by, and I don't read previous posts to do the assessments. Please stay tuned ![]() |
Canuck Yes you can delect both the shortcoming and the assessment. Thanks once again.
Awesome! Done! |
OAM4J:Hey OAM4J - My apologies for the late response. Though I am a Christian, I do not see the assessments as spiritual in nature, i.e. there's no foretelling, no prediction, no prognosis. It is a gift that everyone possesses, but rarely develops because it requires hard word. Like every skill, it atrophies if it's not advanced. "Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound." - James Allen 1864-1912 PS: I'd rather not post shortcomings on NL again. Let's take it off-line. |
@rita@NL Hope you don't mind me deleting the detailed feedback on the shortcomings you asked for? It was pretty graphic (IMHO), and NL is home to a couple of firebrand agitators who may use it for their selfish needs in the future. Plus, you got the gist of the matter already. |
okay cool
Amaka, I am all done. I'm glad no one else copied your assessment into his/her replies. Now, it's like it never even happen! Have fun Amaka! ![]() |
No way, Amaka - I mean no way to your assumption about me. I will delete both references to your assessment on this thread. . .And I will report back to you when it's done. This thread is not meant to spite anyone or stir rancour of any kind ![]() |
Reckless IMHO. |
if someone doesnt want to be apart of something, respect it. loser.
All you needed to do was ask; not throw your weight around in a feeble attempt at bullying. So, are you asking, politely? |
im waiting!! im not part of your little experiement.
I just changed my mind ![]() NL has established a process for reporting errant threads. Please pursue it. |
get me off of this stupid thread now!!
Ma'am, yes Ma'am! |
CANUCK ! CANUCK !! CANUCK !!! Thank you so so much .
The pleasure is mine, rita. Thanks for the quick feedback. Glad to be of help. |
