How does one man equal and suddenly represent "the Libyan people"?
Yes im sure he's just making this up, this whole thing about him and his family being frightened in the night by the sound of aircraft -im sure thats just him getting overexcited, perhaps i'll arrange to get an interview with the entire 6 million inhabitants of Libya in order to convince you that the libyan people are not in support of this invasion - what do you think?

Your stupi.dity never ceases to amaze me, you accuse me of hating whites when you live in a country that regarded african people as chattel and then subsequently practised legalised racial discrimination up untill 1968.

A country which still treats people who look like you as second class citizens and then you accuse ME of hating whites!!!!

Poor morpheus desperate to be accepted by whites - you will never be accepted - you will always be a delusional black man living as a second class citizen in america.

good luck with carrying the torch for massa

Ah yes Now i know I sold out to speaking ebonics, scratching my azz while munching on a serving of hot chitlings.

When will AA's like you learn that education is not an exclusive invention of so called "White people".

NEXT!!
But you dont have a brain, neither are you capable of thinking independently all you do is regurgitate the garbage you were brainwashed with when you attended that fourth rate back water college you attended as a foreign student.

There is nothing vaguely intellectual about your mind, or your thought process.

All i get from you is unadulterated self hatred and jealousy towards any otther black person who you perceive as better than yourself, so please dont kid yourself.

Education is supposed to confer humility not make you feel superior to others, the funny thing is when your type are in the presence of whites all this fake superiority  vanishes into thin air, i have seen so many nigerians liek you bowing and scraping before whites who didnt even see the inside of an educational establishment - answering them yes sir, yes mah so please dont even try to talk about education, with your so called education the white man still calls the shots and dictates how much he will allow you to earn, where he will allow you to live and how far you can go in life.

morpheus you are very fortunate that the moderator did not post my full response to your earlier post - i dare you to go into my posts and read it.

for the sake of brevity i will summarise my position with regard to all the stuff you have been putting up here:

your main grouse with farrakhan is that he is wealthy, influential and respected by african americans for the courageous stand he has taken against one of the most tyrannous govts in the world.

your low self esteem and terrible inferiority complex as well as your undying and pathetic unrequited love for the white man has convinced you that no black man should ever dare challenge a white man no matter how tyrannous.

have you asked yourself where you would have been if african americans like farrkhan had not stood up to challenge the white supremacist govt of the US.

speaking of picking up arms to challenge a govt - why are you living off the hard won freedom fought for you by african americans - why arent you in nigeria taking up arms against those criminal puppets that have destroyed nigeria and caused you to run away from nigeria to live in another man's land?

i ask you again can you refute anything that farrakhan said in that video clip? i double dare you to even try.

The western media continue to parrot their lies, claiming that their intervention in libya was on humanitarian grounds, fortunately the libyan people are not as gullible as many people in the west who have bought this pathetic lie, here is what a libyan resident thinks of the west and their latest neo colonial adventure in his country:

very true but the thing about the lockerbie situation which the UK govt is not very keen to discuss is the fact that the documentation and investigations into the incident have been placed under a public interest immunity certificate for life which means that none of the documentation surrounding this case will ever be released to the public - this now begs the question - why?

if it is that al megrahi was responsible and the libyans admitted responsibility why the secrecy? what is it about this incident that the UK/US govt do not want the public to know about. even a british mp Tam Dalyell asked similar questions and after much investigation surrounding this matter came to this conclusion:

http://scottishlaw..com/2009/08/tam-dalyell-writes-on-truths-about.html

I honestly beleive that if gadaffi and his sons ever have an opportunity to have their day in court the world will be appalled to find out the kind of atrocities that the US/UK govt have been comitting around the world this is why they are desperate to silence him.

Timehin:
African union has been compromised by the greed and corruption of its leaders. But they should know that what happened in libya may happen elsewhere in africa whenever the west considers it a necessity cos if this is allowed without total condemnation then we should begin to ask ourselves where next? An american diplomat once said nigeria may split in 2015 and with the unrests we are witnessing in the north and niger delta area i cant trust the US not trumping up a charge of alqueeda cells being active in nigeria. Gadaffi is the only african leader that has been consistently against the western domination in world affairs but he eventually became a victim through his overzealousness and sit tight syndrome. The US and its allies got a perfect opportunity to oust him even though they are only after their own selfish interests!
very good points - the AU is powerless and can not challenge any western nation let alone the US controlled UN, what is happening in libya now sets a very dangerous precedent as it means that america along with its other collaborators can now safely invade a sovereign nation under any pretext they decide to cook up at any given time, i said in an earlier post that nigeria should watch her back as they might be next,  the oil and gas contracts that america and europe negotiated with gadaffi were made on terms which were not very favourable to their oil companies, i wonder what the current situation is in nigeria with regard to oil and gas contracts because if the nigerian govt  are getting a bigger cut out of it than the west are willing to tolerate and if the incomign govt refuses to redress this in favour of the west , nigeria might be destined for the next round of revolutions/bombing campaigns/ regime change or whatever they want to term it.

Warped logic.

A says something and says C is a liar. He then tells B to believe and agree to everything A SAYS

C says something and says A is a liar. He then tells B to believe everything C says.

In my humblest of opinions, The algorithim should conclude that either one is lieing and the other telling the truth, Both are telling the truth or both are lieing. I choose the last conclusion cause given all the additional facts and a  more holistic assessment. All of them are full of excuse my language "B.U.L.L. Poo"
You have Farrakhan admitting they had a hand (doesn't matter if it was direct or indirect) in Malcolm's death yet you come out with the above new conspiracy that the FBI murdered him. STRANGE CHARACTER YOU ARE!
Its very easy to find out who is telling the truth - just research the issues raised by Farrakhan in that video clip i posted and you will find out who is really telling the truth.

As far as those taskforces, Yes they existed. There is even a taped  conversation with FBI agents and Malcolm X after he was expelled trying to convince him to turn againts the nation (obviously capitalizing on his weakened state) and he refused.

Yet your same Farakhan doesn't make that FACT!. Say it again. FACT!. say it one more time. FACT! that he refused to co-operate with them known, rather branding him a traitor. Traitor to a cover up eh!,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z4giEVP57c

PLEASE!

Rigth cap 28 right. Which is it Farakhan, the nation, the FBI, Godzilla, Space aliens, hired mercenaries, the boogeyman ?
the above argument doesnt make sense - the nation of islam would be the last people to know about the FBI's visits with Malcolm X - the FBI's modus operandi was to approach two warring enemies seperately and try to pit them against each other - thats how they destroyed the black panthers, they used to write letters to individual members and pretend as if these individuals were informants - the letters would then "accidentally" be posted to various black militants within the organisation in order to foment chaos and then the FBI would stand back and watch these militants slug it out or kill each other - its the age old tactic of divide and conquer which is still being used on black people to date.

I recall we've discussed Farrakhan a while back . . . beyond 'allegations' he was involved in X's murder . . . surely, you can understand why some of us cannot take seriously someone who asserts the H1N1 virus was made by white people in order to wipe out others.
Hi Je Soul my sister how are  you doing?

No i cant really understand why you dont take Farrakhan seriously given that he bases all of his arguments on FACT not opinions.  Would you be more willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if he were a white man ?

Let us as black people not allow ourselves to be bamboozled yet again by the very people who have historically shown us nothing but hatred, the western media demonises any black man who stands up to speak the truth, this is a well known fact, malcolm x, martin luther king, stokely carmichael, h rap brown, geronimo pratt - all these african american men were demonised, murdered, imprisoned or hounded out of america for exposing the truth about america, therefore it should come as no suprise that Louis Farrakhan is being given the same treatment - shine your eyes - don't allow yourself to be led by the nose.

If you can pin point anything that Farrakhan has said in the video clip that i attached which is untrue i would appreciate it if you would share it with us here on NL.

With regard to the H1N1 virus this is not an area that i have researched and i am not in the habit of refuting statements when i myself have no first hand knowledge or understanding of the matter, do you know something about the H1N1 virus which totally refutes Farrakhan's argument?

sis, im not attacking you personally just your argument.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Louis Farrakhan Warns, Advises Obama On Libya by cap28(op): 7:44pm On Mar 22, 2011
morpheus if we are to follow your warped logic in which you beleive that Farrakhan is not to be trusted because it was ALLEGED (never proven) that he may or may not have had something to do with Malcolm X's murder then i think you also need to also treat with extreme suspicion anything you hear from the US govt because there is overwhelming evidence which implicates the CIA (acting under orders from the US govt) in the deaths of Martin Luther King Jnr, John F Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy.

Has the CIA's alleged involvment in the deaths of those men prevented you from beleiving and following anything that you are told by the US govt?  If not why then is it a problem for you to accept the truth of what Farrakhan says especially when everything he has said in that video is based on concrete factual evidence?

There is also a mountain of evidence implicating the FBI in the setting up of a secret  task force whose major objective was to neutralise and crush militant black groups in america in the 1960s.  That taskforce was headed up by J Edgar Hoover and it was known as COINTELPRO.
It is a well known fact that this task force used informants, infiltrators, agent provacateurs etc to get to their target which in this instance was Malcolm X.

You know nothing of the British yet you claim to live in the UK.

The average UK citizen could care less about being a powerful nation. British national psyche is always slanted in favour of the underdog.
You forget that the British had an Empire already. The largest one in history. They don't look back on it fondly but are taught to view it with shame.

The UK economy is not on the verge of bankruptcy either. The Cameron government is scrabbling the money back through austerity measures and reckon that they will have the defecit wiped out within the next 4 years. Don't you watch the news in the country you live in?

i think the lesson America and the allied forces are teaching the rest of the world is simple, No matter what, no matter the inducements or pressure, never ever give up chemical weapons or a nuclear weapons pr, ogram. Doing so will not ensure that the U.S. does not attack you -- on the contrary, it will make it much more likely If you have Weapon of Mass Destruction, they threaten you with military actions, example: North Korea.

If you do not have or u give up Weapon of Mass Destruction, then they actually attack you, example: Iraq and Libya.

It could not be more clear. Thank you for bringing this important issue showing the hypocrisy of West.

it is all about tramping the weak Islamic nations whose dictators are not in anyway dancing their tunes and could not defend themselves effectively.
Forget the offence of these dictators, its all about west politics, they will always shy away frm Isreal, North Korea and Iran who are somehow even worst than Ghadaffi, but coz those ones have a Nuke, and they've got all it takes to trigger third world war, hypocrates i say ! . I have heard over and over again their main point of protecting the rebels from a blood bath. I know Gaddafi is a bad guy but please tell me what American government would do if armed rebels with weapons were to attack the Capital building or the White House? Africans please open your eyes. The future is fraught , with mysteries and uncertainties. The Arab League has been used and misled into legitimising an illegal war. No one is talking about humanitarian assistance to the Libyan citizens caught up in a crises financed, cooked in Washington, and served by Europe. Moreover, like Iraq, the children of Libya will start suffering and giving to death from the effects of depleted uranium shortly following the use of Tomahawk cruise missiles (the price of each which stands at $575, 000) and other warheads by US forces on various locations in Libya. Other European countries are joining the waves of attacks on Libya because it provides live and risk-free training targets for their armed forces. New weapon systems are being tested on Libyan targets and civilians from warships and submarines because any life not European or American is dispensable.

thank you sir, you are very right, the biggest mistake libya made was to give up its weapons programme, this is the only way any nation can effectively protect its sovereignty.

i am now hearing that this un resolution that america and britain pushed for was obtained in breach of the UN charter:

The UN Charter's prohibition of member states of the UN attacking other UN member states is central to the purpose for which the UN was founded in the wake of the destruction of World War II: to prevent war. This overriding concern is also reflected in the Nuremberg Trials' concept of a crime against peace "starting or waging a war against the territorial integrity, political independence or sovereignty of a state, or in violation of international treaties or agreements, " (crime against peace), which was held to be the crime that makes all war crimes possible.

before you even begin to talk about nigeria being able to defend herself from foreign invasion you have to ensure that the people within the country are united and willing to come together to fight the external enemy, nigeria is not united so i dont know how you are going to get an army together that will be willing to face down a common external enemy.

if nigeria were to be invaded tomorrow it will be so easy for foreign forces to take over the country - infact they wont even need to invade physically, they can simply do what they  are doing in libya - arm one side and get them to fight on their behalf in order to overthrow the leader that they are trying to oust.
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Union Demands 'immediate' Halt To Libya Attacks by cap28: 10:36pm On Mar 21, 2011
The african union's voice does not count, if it did they would have made their presence felt by puting pressure on nigeria, south africa and gabon and forced them to abstain from voting like the BRIC countries did, instead what you had were 3 african nations allowing themselves to be used as pawns in order to get the requisite 9 votes in  to pass this resolution.

All i can say to the libyan rebels is look at iraq and pakistan - look at the drones that the US govt are using to kill men, women and children in those countries  -  that is your future, they should also look at nigeria - a country run by western controlled puppets which couldnt care less about its own people - if that is their own idea of progress then i wish them luck.

In 2005 libya's state owned oil company NOC renegotiated the terms of the previous oil and gas contracts with the various International oil companies reducing their stake which was a whopping 49% and introducing more stringent terms, i wonder whether this has anything to do with the current stance adopted by europe and america:

Libya's oil industry is run by the state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC). The NOC is
responsible for implementing the Exploration and Production Sharing Agreements (EPSA) with
international oil companies (IOCs). NOC is also responsible for field development and
improvements as well as downstream activities. IOCs operating in Libya work in exploration,
production, transportation and refining. IOCs with operations in Libya include Eni, Total, Repsol
YPF, StatoilHydro, Occidental, OMV, ConocoPhillips, Hess, Marathon, Shell, BP, ExxonMobil and
others.
IOC participation in Libya’s oil concessions was initially as high as 49 percent. However, changes
to the production sharing agreements under the EPSA – IV licensing round (2005) limited IOC
production shares. The Libyan government has since required that IOCs already operating in the
country rewrite existing contracts to comply with the new framework. The key elements include a
reduction of the companies’ share of output (up to half of what it was), a commitment of fresh
investment in exchange for an extension of the license period (some up to 15 years)
.
hmmm - gadaffi appeared to be coming down hard on these theifs, now i see why they desperately want to see the back of him.
