Mr/Mrs GoTV, it goes without saying that you're not entitled to any vote for the obvious reasons that your sentiments on the subject of discussion will always be clouded by your insatiable business drive for product promotion, consumer persuasion and business growth.

On the contrary, the consumers speak from experience and their opinion have considerable weight in the preference of either services as they don't speak to promote the preferred product for financial gain or to persuade others so as to ensure profitable buiness growth. Just plain, honest opinion is what we need.

Op may disagree but this is my opinion.

I believe Gotv is much better than Startimes except in their Christian content. What I mean is Startimes dedicates a channel to TBN with its host of sub-programmes that are quite inspirational to Christians but I find Gotv's Faith channel extremely dull with a capital E. I try to force myself to watch it but I never succeed. Lacks inspiration.

However, I hate Startimes' dedication of many channels to showing Indian movies. I hate Indian movies with every drop of blood in my body. This is why I prefer Gotv with its only Indian channel - Zeeworld. Even much better is the fact that Zeeworld only shows Indian movies or soaps produced in english, not hindi though I never spend time watching them....still Indian content.

Apart from what Tunji2003 said, I noticed the guy does not have good understanding of the strategy which explains why he abandoned it after many losing streaks. He got that strategy from nairaland but did not acknowledge the founder - Wappy. The date of the thread shows that he must have gotten it from wappy.

God knew they would sin but being a just God He created them to give them a chance to serve Him along with those who serve Him faithfully. That's all I know about the reason for creating them. His just nature makes Him create light and darkness, saints and sinners, heaven and hell, good and evil. He does not create one and leave the other.

In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22). Read also Leviticus 17:11. You will know why Jesus had to sacrifice His life on the cross.

Angels who rebel against God have no way of atoning for their sins because that would mean regeneration or transformation. Now, as spirits if they were to be regenerated, what state would they change into? Spirits? They're already spirits. The blood of Christ can only work on spirits not in their final state, something made possible by the presence of physical flesh. Once the flesh dies, no regeneration is possible for that man especially if he died in his sins. There is no repentance in the grave. This means no man can repent after death because he is then in his final state.

Once found in a state of sin where regeneration is impossible, the person is just like weed or waste that is meant only for the fire. God does not delight in punishing people by sending them to hell but that their sins make forgiveness impossible and punishment inevitable.

God can never forgive satan or the angels that rebelled against Him.

Satan and the angels who sinned against God were originally created perfect, without sin unlike man. They used to dwell in the presence of God. They saw God, knew His laws but deliberately rebelled against Him. Besides, they were created in their complete state so that any sin they committed would attract eternal punishment as there is no way the sin(s) of a spirit can be atoned for by physical blood which is the only atonement for sins. That's why Jesus had to die on the cross to shed His spotless blood for the forgiveness of the sins of man, not angels.

Besides, God has already said the fate of Satan is hell fire and He honours His Word above His name.

God created man to have an exalted position on earth and in His kingdom. Why did God create man on earth? Why didn't He create man in heaven? He placed man on earth and permitted the devil to try man for a very good reason. Man is only on earth to decide who he will spend eternity with. God does not force Himself on anyone. It is up to you to choose Him or choose the devil. However, He lets you know where the devil will spend his eternity so that you don't make the same choice. Sadly, people still choose the devil.

God knows the end way before the beginning began to begin. That does not mean He never reacts emotionally to the wrong choices we make; that does not mean He never gets angry or sad or weep since He already knew the outcome. God's nature is so so much different from ours that many people doubt His omniscient nature. It is one thing to know what will happen, it is quite another thing to see it happening which is quite heartbreaking. However, whatever happens He is always in full control. Nothing happens that takes Him by surprise because He has created the solution even before the problem exists, yet He will not force people to accept His solution to their problems.

Angels also have free will just as man has. That's why after Lucifer rebelled along with his angels another set of angels rebelled against God by sleeping with women (Genesis 6:1-4). If angels obeyed God like machines, there wouldn't have been any history of angelic rebellion let alone sin.

Bowing to man is not the reason Lucifer rebelled. He coveted the throne and influence of God. He nurtured pride which brought about his fall (Isaiah 14:12-21).

God has nature. One of the aspects of His nature is love, another is wisdom, another is might and so on. Qualities of God. However, as important as these qualities of God are His just (Deuteronomy 32:4) and terrible nature (Psalm 47:2). His just nature makes Him create something or someone even when He well knows they will disobey Him and cause havoc and destruction. By creating them He gives the bad a fair chance of existence as He does the good. His terrible nature makes Him the terrible, fearful God He is when He punishes or when in judgment in the afterlife. That just nature of His made Him create Lucifer and the myriads of angels that rebelled against Him.
