MizJanet:What have you done with the great contributions from others that you seek my little contribution? You are free to disagree in opinion with people but when you become so addicted to twisting and turning, ignorantly and blindly, the fundamental beliefs of others in order to derive sadistic pleasure at habitually mocking their freely offered explanations to your ill-prompted questions, then your actions betray a deep disorder of reasoning. I won't compound your reasoning disorder by offering you any explanations. It is for your own good that I ignore you. |
franchizy:Hey, are you sleep talking? This is a sign of somniloquying...making incoherent, unintelligible gibberish. Wake up and grow up. ![]() |
damilareoye:Truly, this is baffling and yet you see Christians trying to reason with an overgrown kid who is ready to ask many questions but is in no mood to listen to any of the answers. Ignoring her would easily have done the job that teaching her can never achieve, which would then have left a lasting message or impression on her ignorant reasoning. |
The Sexually Abusive Father (his definition of love for his daughters is the one where he gratifies his sexual desires by raping and sexually abusing them) The Drunk Father (loves the bottle more than his family) The Polygamous Father (is the governor of his chaotic family community of 17 wives, 120 children, 900 grandchildren and 5,473 great grandchildren) The Mentor Father (is an inspiration to his children who want to be like daddy when they grow up) The Stingy Father (just give it up. u will have better luck extracting red wine from a dry rock than getting a nickel from the old man) The Lazy Father (only sits at home all day reading the pools result for the week, expects his wife and kids to do all the work around the house without lifting a finger to assist them, expects them to assume his fatherly responsibilities and serve him at his beck and call while still arrogantly maintaining the head of the house status) |
Igbo ladies are also humans, no different from other humans. Only difference is their language, otherwise they are just humans. |
I've read every single comment in this thread and hear people repeat the RIP statement. I'm not against it but that is an untrue statement given the way she died and the punishment of being roasted or burned alive for all eternity that awaits her in the afterlife. She will never RIP. If she knew, she'd have seen that the breakup is chilled chocolate and strawberry drink compared to where she is now. She killed herself because her boyfriend of 7 years disappointed her? Saying she is the worst of fools is a big understatement. What about her parents whom she disappointed, who sacrificed their time, energy, money, everything for 25 years to bring her up to be a respected lady in the society? Which is the greater disappointment? @Honeeeybabe, at 19, a girl is free to live her life as an adult but that is the best time for her to plan her future and set aside the distraction of any romantic relationship. Having a boyfriend at that age may lead to unwanted pregnancy that may terminate her dream of being a lawyer or engineer or doctor or it may lead to decline in her academic performance since the boyfriend would always be demanding attention from her. That is just too much load to carry so she should just throw that relationship in the dustbin and focus on her future. Boys are there in their thousands but opportunity comes but once. @Rhaby, I admire your strength. You deserve a medal for holding on even after going through a devastating breakup of such nature. Like you said, men are not worth dying for. The only problem is it took 10 years of disappointment from a man for you to realize this but all is well that ends well. Stay strong. You're now one of the reasons I believe the women folk are not as weak as we perceive them to be. Ladies/girls, like I always say, forget love. Apply wisdom in selecting and staying with a date. You head for disaster if you let love be the greatest reason for staying with a guy. His inner qualities are much more important than his outward appearance and there's only one way to know those inner qualities - by asking God if he is the right man for you. |

Islam is not to blame for the boy's actions. There are many twisted and warped literature of Islam floating all over the net but here we are and there is Thomas Evans, a depressed, psychotic, gullible oaf who chose to be influenced by the 'poisonous' material and twisted people he came across. Islam did not force Thomas to fight; he chose to fight and die for Islam. It is just like when a person joins a gang of robbers of his own free will, he becomes responsible for the future consequences of his action, not the gang of robbers. Islam is a concept that is useless in itself but when people are drawn to that concept and perpetrate evil through it, they're to be blamed for their actions. Guns don't just up and kill people; people kill people. On Judgment Day, God will judge people for the evil they did in their life time but He will not judge Islam or Satanism or The New Age Movement or Luciferianism or whatever the sadistic concoction of appellation since they're just lifeless concepts people adopt to justify their evil actions. Thomas Evans hope you're enjoying your everlasting holiday in hell. |

Nairaland is really swarming with cultists. ![]() |
Lamispaco:bro, no fear. I'm Jesus' captain. June is my fav nomenclature. |
iampoar:See your life. And you're proud to be one. You're a sea lord, right? The ferry man is coming soon. |
The path of cultism leads down to disgrace, misery, shame, poverty, worthlessness and very short life. There's nothing to gain but everything to lose especially one's priceless soul. |
lordhugo:Lol. This guy, na wa to u o ![]() |
opedaydydx9:Lol. Help me ask am o. Well, he meant destruction sha. The words 'bucket' and 'rocks' suggest he is talking about sailing to ultimate destruction. That is for cultists, not me. I shall live a fulfilling life in the abundance of God's provisions. I shall not die but live and declare the will of God. |
lordhugo:ha ha ha. No bro. I'm not and will never be one. Tufiakwa! Cultists are cursed. That's what I meant. And yeah, that bucket and the shame that fills it when they eventually kick it make up the major part of their cursed existence. I'll advise you go through my posts before you label me one. Lol. |
No gain, so much pain. Being a cultist is a curse. |
SirStevoe already answered the question. Thorpido added some details to the explanation. My answer only echoes theirs. I don't know what more needs to be said. |
No religion, I emphasize 'No' as in No religion leads to God. Only one Person leads to God...Jesus Christ. He is the Way, He is the Path, He is the only link between God and man. |
IDGAF:Thanks. Op is just confused. I've been there. Just doing my part to see that he does not walk down the destructive path of willful ignorance. |
lolaredvelvet:Thank you. That's just me. God bless you, too. |

I won't remarry. If she has the qualities I'm seeking in a woman, she will never be replaced on a mere flimsy notion of infertility. What happened to prayer or adoption? Again, off topic, I'm the type that does not give a hoot if my wife gives me only female children. I will love them so much and teach them to be strong as male children I never had. They will achieve greater things in life than the opposite sex, if not, they will still be my precious jewels. |
beautiful testimony of God's doing. Keep it up, bro. |
TheFilmmaker:No, my friend, you're the one brainwashed here. Those stories did not play any part in my believing in the existence of Jesus Christ; they, like hundreds of them, only served to strengthen my belief in the existence of God especially because they did not contradict the Bible but, rather they proved the truth of the Bible. You'll only play the blind fool if you ignore the thousands of people from different tribes and languages all testifying to the reality of Jesus Christ, their only evidence being their testimony. I particularly recommended those stories because they highlight the experience of people who were once in the op's shoes. Op should not think he is the first person to pass through this experience. Those stories were meant to encourage him but the decision to believe or not rests entirely with him. Free moral agents. Speaking about external evidence, are you saying there is no external evidence of the existence and crucifixion of Jesus Christ? |
jude2011:Did you not read in the same Bible where God shortened the years of man to 120 years during the time of Noah, especially after the Flood?? You only see WHAT you want to see. It is a function of your mind. This is how the serpent got Eve to sin by changing her thinking and making her to SEE a forbidden apple as desirable in order to be wise. This is much the same way atheism operates. Atheism is much like the serpent that deceived Eve to think a forbidden apple is actually one that gives wisdom. Atheism makes you think doubting God makes you wise. Back in the university, I had an atheist friend who never believed in the existence of God. I would try to make him accept the reality of the existence of God but he never budged on his conviction to and would always back his doubt of God's existence with convincing argument. He cited cases in the Bible that contradicted reality, he cited names of well-known atheists...in fact, he was beyond convincing. I only felt pity for him. I still do. Nonetheless, I never looked down on him for not believing in the existence of God. On the contrary, a day without that guy is purely boring because he is the type that enlivens the atmosphere where he is found. He is good at heart and is the type one can rely on. A very good chap, besides his worrisome promiscuity, of course. Op, sadly you're the type that is tossed about by every wind of doctrine. Do you think people are serving a dead God or a God that limited the demonstration of His power and His appearance to just one man like the Muslim's Allah? Where do the gifts of healing, miracle, prophecy, revelation, etc come from? Haven't you met spiritually gifted Christian brothers and sisters (am not even talking about pastors) that will tell you things about you, your family, your thoughts, etc even though you've only met them for the first time? That is the gift of prophecy at work. Atheists have never been to a spirit-filled meeting of believers hence their ignorant lack of conviction. There is a real spirit world out there of forces of Light and Darkness. You know this. You cannot deny this. Even if you closed your eyes to reality like the atheists do, you'll still be hit by reality. Ignoring or questioning reality does not make it an illusion. Atheists can blindly persist in their ignorance but it is only for a short time. They are on a collision course with reality...and how reality will hit them pretty hard. |
There are contradictions in the Bible. Ok, we've heard. Why continue to give yourself migraine over this issue? |
