Nobody knows when his time is up. You see, many had plans for tonight, tomorrow, next week, month or years to come but all that has come to an everlasting pause. My brothers and sisters, it is folly to live in sin thinking we have the power to keep our lives. Who knows when the heart will stop beating? Those truly in Christ among those dead are counted fortunate but where will the others go who never repented of their sins or gave their lives to Jesus Christ until their end met them? It is easy to say RIP to the dead but we all know better. Cold turkey is many are far from the eternal rest we wish them and will be denied that rest forever if they died without accepting Christ as their Saviour or repenting of their sins. It is only in death that sinners value the 'precious' words of preachers and followers of Christ above their earthly pursuits..but then it'll be too late. My prayer is that death will not meet any one of us alive suddenly until we've lived a fruitful long life on earth and that when it eventually does our names will be found in the Lamb's Book of Life. Amen. |
tabletgirl:This post is chock full of mouth watering prospects... Hope you don't mind my keeping in touch with you for future reference. And you're welcome... |
oyetunder:My brother, it just baffles me. I have given up long ago trying to understand girls. When they cry from heartbreak or pain inflicted on them by their lovers, to me it is just like some car blowing its horn across the street while I'm deeply engrossed in a novel full of suspense. As normal as it goes I pity them (just as I hear the car horn) but see it as just an everyday affair, not worth giving my half attention. This is why I say dating rooted in Christ is the safest foundation for getting to know and wisely choose your future Mr Right. Who am I kidding? They (will) fail to listen but (will) unjustly label guys wicked. So unfair despite the warnings we repeatedly give them. |
stephenqueen:Dude, I couldn't help but burst in laughter at the bolded lines. RiP girl. You're the extra in ten million reasons why dating should always have its foundation in Jesus Christ. @ Ladies, please never date a guy because he has six packs or is rich or handsome or white or black because you never know and can never tell what he has in his heart towards you; date him because he loves God with all his heart and you see it in all his actions. This is not to say that any of the above is the reason why the young lady met her untimely end. |
francizy:Bro, this is why rushing in to comment on the first page without reading the subject-matter is detrimental to your public image. Is a septuagenarian a young man in your dictionary? Pls read before you comment. @topic, Nigeria is a country where anything goes, anything thrives, punishment is never exercised on the offenders, the least in rank in the armed forces are so drunk with power that they exercise it brutally on the unarmed and defenseless with impunity, those at the helm of power are unconcerned with the plight of the masses in the hands of these marauding beasts in uniform as long as their foreign and local bank accounts are over fed with embezzled currencies day and night.... No wrong is ever redressed or met with stiff punishment to prevent its re-occurrence in the future.. This is why we read daily that policemen or soldiers killed a civilian or civilians over minor wrongs or disagreement. This has been going on for years and there is still no sign that it is likely to end..... I don't blame that nairalander who said in his signature that when he gets to heaven he will tell Peter that he is another Nigerian reporting who has just served his time in hell.......very descriptive of the past and current state of affairs if you ask me. RIP to the unfortunate Septuagenarian... |
@tabletgirl, you're well grounded on the business ethics and practices of Alpari. You have really done your homework on them. I'm impressed especially when it is coming from a lady...(pls don't take it the wrong way). I did not know Alpari is one of the leading giants in online businesses until today. Many thanks for the eye opener. With what you have said, I may give them a try in the future. @John4success, I would say by all means carry on. Thanks for the confirmation. It has helped me to adjust my opinion concerning Alpari... Wish you more trading success.. |
Both are equals but hulk has an edge over superman. Superman has not just one but three weaknesses; he becomes weak and vulnerable like a human whenever he is near a green kryptonite he loses focus, his mind, and ability to coordinate his powers effectively thus causing unintentional harm or major accidents when he is near a red kryptonite. The difference is that this one has a greater devastating effect on him than the green kryptonite because it negatively affects his emotions, makes him evil, disrupts his concentration of channeling his powers on the target object (this is where the unintentional accidents come in)...in fact, it makes him a ticking time bomb....and finally he needs to recharge his strength by flying to the sun especially after he has been through an ordeal in the hands of villains and needs his strength to combat them to save the day Hulk, on the other hand, has no known weaknesses except his fury or rage which, ironically, is what magnifies his strength. This is what makes him the incredible hulk. In fact, rather than weakness he grows from strength to strength. In the light of the weaknesses superman possesses, it is anybody's guess that in the long run of a major showdown between both, hulk will emerge unarguably victorious. HuLK SMASH.... |
Tabletgirl, thanx for the info. Only that Alpari's reputation has been dragged to the mud by some brokers reviews websites (not deliberately or maliciously) so it is quite shocking to hear you say this judging from the negative reviews I read from the experience of others. Well, I'll be waiting for John to confirm your statement. By the way, is Alpari your broker, too? Is that how you came about this piece of information? Just curious. |
john4success:How long have you been using Alpari? With the negative reviews they have I wouldn't touch Alpari with a long pole. |
drbashfx:You're so right.. No questions asked, just rushing request for something they don't know how it performs in the market. If the op was really successful trading forex with this indicators he wouldn't have had any need to sell them. No doubt he is selling the indicators that is the reason for requesting their emails. Only a learner will fall for this cheap trick. If they look carefully, they will see a 3 level zz semafor in the chart window and a kind of buy sell scalping indicator in the indicator window well known for their repainting in addition to the multiple false signals they generate. They only look perfect in the past but useless in real time. Talk about blowing your account before you even have the chance to make it grow. I hope they don't learn the hard way. Forex trading is not easy. Without sweat and hard work it will fail like any other business. |
Op, why not tell them you intend to sell the indicator to them? Why play on people's intelligence? If you were really interested in giving them out you would have uploaded them right here and described how to use them. |
Kleenox, it has nothing to do with your indicator. Each broker has their source of volume. While some have accurate volume feeds, that is not the case with others. That may be the reason why your broker's volume is different from john's. I may be wrong but that is the only logical reason I can come up with until someone proves otherwise. |
maggilove:Maggilove, it is really really really satisfying to know ur very rare kind still exists in this decayed world. If most girls think like you we would be spared this endless repetition of tragedy of worldly romantic relationships. But no, these girls will have none of that. Love rooted in God is just a boring lifestyle to them. They want adventure, the forbidden- the whole package of a romantic relationship and they got it - rape, betrayal, heartbreak, unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, revenge of broken trust by an aggrieved 'lover' leading to the untimely death of a so-called lover in many cases, victimisation, physical abuse...and the list is endless. Not exactly what they expected in a package so beautiful on the outside....the price you pay for rejecting the ways of God to embrace the ways of this deceptively evil and vile world. |
The heels remind me of a dinosaur. |
Midehi:Babes are having fun with rich old men who are in the same age bracket with their fathers. No time for losers. |
Tis why it is very necessary to always prepare for the evil day in your good days. Sorry bro, such is life. |
Madam or Mr, trust is earned, not forced. Your sensitivity to criticism only goes to show you may have an ulterior motive for creating this thread. To prove the so-called haterz wrong, establish a reputation for honest dealings involving little or large sums of money then people will grant you their trust in return. Anything contrary to that you are just another big scammer on the prowl. My advice to people doing any transaction with you at this stage is to eat your words with a pinch of salt. Call me hater others will thank me later... |
AreaFada2:Bro, you're very right. However, no administration is without shortcomings. The difference lies in the economic state of affairs, not the political one as you've mentioned. Awo and Zik had their differences in the natural way ideologies clash. That did not impact negatively on the wellbeing of the masses economically and infrastructurally. Our refineries were in top shape, rural and urban infrastructures were carried out to better the lifes of the masses, the purchasing power of the naira was almost equal to the dollar, investors thronged Nigeria to establish their businesses because the economic atmosphere of Nigeria was inviting, power supply was somewhat more stable than it is today, potable water supply was available in so many homes but it sad to say that was a thing of the past, the foreign debt was managed so that it was kept low that it should not have adverse effect on the economy by giving rise to inflation... Just take a look at the status quo. What obtains today is a gross opposite of what obtained in the time of those men I mentioned. The basic economic and social infrastructures which guaranteed high standard of living of the masses in the time of the great statesmen experienced irrecoverable decay in the watch of those leaders I listed as being the worst leaders. They were or are more interested in stashing heaps of currency from the national treasury in their local and foreign bank accounts and in the process starve the nation of its much needed growth and development. There is no ground to relate these failed leaders with the past great leaders. Lest I forget, Yar Adua, though he ruled a very very short time, seems to me he would have made his place among the great statesmen of our history had he lived longer. |
hardbody:hahaha. Take am easy bro b4 u impregnate pesin wit anger. One love |
amakaffy:Along with the likes of Obasanjo, Abacha, Babangida, Shehu Shagari.....all rotten eggs.... I only give kudos to great statesmen like Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Tafawa Balewa, and Gen Muritala Mohammed. These were the true nation builders.....until nation destroyers like the the one whose picture u uploaded and the cursed names above came along... Because of them Nigeria is languishing in serious pain without hope of relief. |
hardbody:Just go find one cheap brothel and release your konji kia kia. You're talking and thinking with your third leg bro..... ![]() |
GEJ my nigga ![]() |
milychocs:The guy is suffering from acute inferiority complex. Add 100 grams of the mix of schizophrenia and depression to that. |
searching4lovee:This is what happens when a person speaks through his anus. How did Obasanjo manage this country for eight years? He accelerated the motion of retrogression of the economy during his administration. How did Nigeria fare during his time? The standard of living took a major nosedive with Obasanjo's dictatorship. He sits in the corner of our history as one of the worst rulers ever. He is no different from Jonathan. In the case of the North, you can imagine how Shagari mismanaged the affairs of the Nation to have prompted a coup as a result. How about Babangida? Did he steer the wheels of the Nation to the promised land of economic growth and development? You well know the events that marked his regime to have made his actions unforgivable by Nigerians till tomorrow. Should I mention Abacha? Why is it that the news of his sudden death was received with Nation wide jubilation? Effective Nation building has nothing to do with tribe but based on the performance of the leaders. Your bigotry has beclouded your sense of judgment. Next time think before you open that foul contraption you call mouth to vomit your disgusting thoughts. |
kenny987:I get your drift but you have indirectly buttressed my point that oil is a curse by taking the normative economic approach -what ought to be. If the oil was not a natural resource, wouldn't we have delved into the production and exploration of other resources? We would have applied our energy in maximizing profit from the little resources we have so that the revenue we derive from them would be used to further establish industries that would expand their production. That way, Nigeria would have grown and developed faster than its current snail-pace development as a result of the availability and abundance of oil. Moreover, the revenues generated from oil have not been channeled into the repair and maintenance of our refineries which is the MAJOR reason we are feeling the bite of fuel scarcity today. Oil is a good thing only if the leaders had used it profitably for the wellbeing and growth of the per capita income of the masses. It would have served to justify the title of Giant of Africa if the gains we derived from it had been used to embark on nation wide industrialization to increase not only our GDP but the per capita income. The per capita income of the citizens is a true indicator of economic development. However, this is the opposite case with Nigeria. Our industries are either few or are neglected. Most working industries you find belong to foreigners. Nigeria, with all its oil, is still backward developmentally. Basic infrastructures of light, water and transportation are under-developed despite boasting of huge returns from the exportation of oil and other natural resources. I haven't even mentioned revenues gotten from tax payment, levies, fines and other sources of government revenue. There is only one place I quite agree with you and that is where you mentioned the greed of leaders making it impossible for our oil resource to be fully utilised for national development. Their greed exists because of the availability of oil. As long as the oil is there Nigeria will remain backward. This is how they have turned the blessing of our natural resource to a curse. |
kenny987:Tell me why you think it is not a curse. With the figures generated from production and exportation of oil, why is Nigeria still poor as a church rat? Why is the power supply still eratic and not stable? Why can't we afford something as common as potable water in every home? Why is Nigeria still owing very huge foreign and national debts? What has the government done with the revenues generated from the sales of our national resources? How does the abundance of oil reflect positively in our economy and much more? Please tell me why you think oil is not our curse. |
bushdoc9919:The bolded is exactly my thought. Oil is the CURSE of Nigeria. Many developed nations don't even have a barrel of oil as one of their natural resources but Nigeria cannot stand shoulder to shoulder with them in terms of solid national and economic development. Nigeria needs to explore other avenues of resource generation to enhance the per capita income of its citizens. That way, infrastructural and economic development will be a natural by product. With the exception of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, and Gen. Murtala Muhammed I say shame on our past leaders to the current one. They are all failures for lacking innovation and for pursuing their personal satisfaction rather than the wellbeing of the Nation...Babangida, Obasanjo and Jonathan being the biggest failures of them all. |
Or it could mean he is happy for that day... |
I hear some folks here say this is not a mass protest. Why don't you people join the protest and make it a mass one? At least they are doing something to bring an end to this bad luck brought about by fake goodluck. What have you done? |
this is just sad. Having people like these criminals in police uniform just makes our lives more at risk. Imagine what these demonic policemen did to this young man. They all should be jailed for life including the person using this moniker "obiodunukwe" to harass people on Nairaland.
...as for konji...naàhhhh. But thanks. Let this drop. I spoke in anger and i am entitled to my emotions at least, so long as i dont assault or batter anyone. So there. One love.
