I agree with you Wiztech is one of the best lnbs around.It however must be stated that its strength is on pan/metal dishes. I've tried technomate 4way on pan BUD but the performance wasn't great.It maybe suitable on fibre dishes because I've heard/seen great reviews on technomate so it maybe great but on specific dishes.
Will you be able to share your experience on the Original SRT 4ways especially its performance on pan dishes relative to Wiztech ?Thanks

209 tps? That's interesting because the total number of tps on hotbirdi is about 102. Is it possible it's scanning more than one satellite position?

The problem could be from the positioner itself.If possible try another positioner and see if that changes. Hope that helps

Good effort. Your type and size of dish?. You may also try the following tps at these longitudes:

52.5East : 11977H 27500, and 12054H 27500 as tracking Tps

52 East : 12546V 27500(Abu Dhabi Sports). Used to get up to 65% until late last year when the signal became difficult to get again.

51.5 East .There is this Belarus TV there as tracking Tp.... forgot the tp but I believe if you move the dish a bit up from 52east and blind scan you should nail it.

If U have 2.4m pan and above u can try the Kurdsat News HD TP 11488V 5184.It's the strongest for me and stable even at 52% on 4922A.So far it's the only tp I could nail.

What can you do? Free to air has gone scientific and that's why we should be careful before buying. Some companies dump their decoders once new model is out. Alphabox leads those companies, Qsat included. A company like Gsky doesn't produce a lot of receivers and the few they've are well supported. It's like someone who have 20 children from one woman and hunger dey hammer them, and another one of the same class has 4 and feeds them properly.
Though a bit expensive, I can only mention GSKY and TIGER(forever server) as only reliable ones at the moment.

I have seen it before but you are missing something. It's not that it exists but with what because with 2.4m I couldn't get Ghazi TV there which I heard of last season. It's like Sony Ten, which is there but unreachable with less than 3m. I will surely give it a try if someone confesses receiving Ghazi on 1.8m or 2.4m. For now, it doesn't worth reaping up my setup alignment.

@ chinedu I use 2.4m solid dish and the attached pictures are for Gazi TV at apstar 76.5 east.My location is southern Ghana

House goodday,can someone tell me the easiest frequency to track ptvsport.I've been on top it today for over six hours still no way,i'm using 4m mesh dish with supermax Lnb.

Make sure there is NO dielectric plate in the lnb. One of the strongest tps at 38 east is 3818V 6200.If you can get the best signal on this tp, then blindscan for PTV SPort. Good luck

Those channels on 36E i.e. CNN,TBN,Setanta e.t.c on 12275H do occasionally become FTA for up to two weeks and then they are scrambled again.As much as I want to see them being FTA, I have my doubt if they will for two reasons: (1)they being on 36E (although not DSTV tp) (2) they offer that package on commercial basis in Tanzania.

Anyway let's see how it pans out.

It's more than saying 'Hmmmm'. I think peeps need to understand that there are consequences for engaging in illegalities.

With the recent hike in DSTV tariffs it looks like they're losing subscribers in droves and this may be impacting on
their bottom line. It goes to reason why they're now going around making all these arrests. I would advise anyone here
who has anything to do with these local distributed signals to be wise and desist immediately in order not to be a victim.

I think Multichoice has more to do than just going for the consumers of those illegal products.They should find the SOURCE otherwise I think they are fighting a losing battle.How many of these guys can they cause to be arrested?
