@ebonyi, i don't think you understand what kiwi992 was talking about,he was not hating anything or anybody,he never said that if he was offered the opportunity he won't accept it,he is only saying that our leaders, goverment and those fighting the 9jadelta struggle have all not been fair and that they have failed us,he cited two major instances in egypt and angola that am very well aware of too (i work in an oil company in the 9jadelta) and agree completely with him, i have said it over and over again, the oil companies in conjunction with our elders, leaders and assistance of some of our youths has failed us and that's the bottom line. Now we are wiser and know our rights and that happen to be the bone of contention. |
@kiwi992, i read your opinion and quite disagree with the fact the europeans are responsible for woes in the 9jadelta, i want to state here that our govt, bad leaders in the 9jadelta are the once responsible for our problems, our leaders sold our souls, yes the oil companies has cheated us over the years before now but with the assistance of our govt and leaders. And right now we want out share and they must give us but i also want to mention here that without peace there can never being concrete development in the 9jadelta |
@anivara,have responded |
@anivara, i work in one of the multinational oil companies in the nigerdelta and i hv sent a mail to ur private mail, pls read and respond. |
The best time is when the couple are ready to have unprotected sex and the guy has serious plans of walking down the aisle soon. It is not only HIV that is important but a thorough medical check up including urine, blood, vaginal swab and excreta. So many men have partially dead infections in their system .eg. Syphillis, staph, etc that were not fully treated and could lead to problems in child bearing. Some ladies have stubborn yeast/toilet infections. So the tests are very necessary so that treatment can be administered in full by a competent doctor and then they can proceed to the altar. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX i think agree with everyone here especially iamunique, the issue of hiv is way beyond just going through an hiv test,it should include series of test, because i have once dated a lady whom i felt it will lead to marriage took for her a test in my brother's clinic though she was hiv negative but she had syphillis including some toilet infections, so what am saying in that your gurl might be free of hiv dont jubilate yet until you carry out other tests! |
thanx viper, both are clean but the highlander was bought tia rubber just in November last year and the bobo is selling as a result of acquiring FJ cruiser 2008,so i see it as more or less a "dash" car while the CRV is from cotonu clean too but 80,000,anyway i am waiting for more advise as a tree cannot make a forest , |

hello everyone int he house, pls i want to post a topic here on nairaland but i cant find the window, can any one help with the link? |
@gamine,i want to state categorically here that alot of guys come and share false information, maybe to show themslf as been good or something close to that but for me i believe this is a forum where we should learn something concrete from one another and as such i try as much as possible to relay true and sincere experience, atleast am sure other might have learnt something from me not matter how horrible. To put the record straight,i have a wonderful wife in all ramification from ibo tribe even though i am yoruba, she is sweet and ever wonderful but sometimes "men would be men" if you know what i mean. |
@gamine,my name says the truth in fairness and sincerity, atleast we are here to share our experience and i just did but i hope that isn't too much? |
it's possible though even when it's not right,i am married but met a lady who knew i was married infact she met me at the pool side with my wife and kid and we dated for about 2 yrs,she loved me so much and it took the grace of God for me to make her understand i had to call it quit,it was difficult though because infact friends told me it was because of money but sincerely and deep down she wasn't even asking anything from me until i do force it on her maybe because she is working but i know friends who have girlfriends who are working and who still milk them flat. |
@damsy07, look i am very surprise that we still have ppeople like you who believe abroad is better than naija, i have been to over 15 countries in the course of my working for one of the biggest oil companies in the world operating in naija i have met friends who left naija early enough as at when we graduated in 2000,but the question now what are they doing abroad?i am 100% comfortable here at home, i might not be rich but atleast i don't have to wash dead bodies, sweep, clean glasses or even arrange fake marriages all in the name of stabilizing, yes they all went abroad before me but they are either just in one country and never moved,i am home and have gone way far ahead i cried when i met a medical doctor who clean shoe abroad, haba health system in naija might be bad but i tell you if that guy happen to be in naija by now i am sure one these might must have loan him to set up a clinic, naija is improving it might not be the best yet but we will get there,go and read what GABY said,he actually said it all and let me ask a question if abroad is betetr why do i still go abroad and spend so much for my friends that has been there for years, they even envy me and i still wonder why ![]() |
for me naija babes are hot and very very romantic ooo if you give them your own romance back, i hv dated enough naija babes from ibo, hausa, edo, ijaw and even yoruba and bet you the feeling is sumpcioussssssssssssss and memory filled too. |
shell pays more and even the entry level quoted here by a member @ 260k is wrong, i know an international staff of shell i hv a cousine who also is a nigerian staff atleast both of them work offshore and i hv seen their pay slips with my own eyes ooo not hear say |
@gaby, belive you me you are the bomb, i don't see any life abroad better than naija oo, i have never hv reasons to stay abroad more than a period of 6 months when i went on trainin in different countries, look life isn't better abroad i met naija people who i even hv to give a hand of feellowship and this were guys who made me reaslise they are living big when they visited naija,i was dumbfounded when i called on most of them without notice of me coming, when i was in the university i had friends who left for abroad immediately my dear people they are doing any where good, i am not rich ooo but with God i am comfortable but this guys hv noting to show off except slangs and pictures |
@bolarge u are right, the record i broke in engineering was set in 1984 and , @nduleme, try to see good things in others and yours will come too, don't always think everyone who comes on nairaland is either hv got noting to do or just passing time, i am the type who wants to use my testimony to encourage others i worked very hard to secure my grades i am not ajebota i was a complete aje kpako, leaving from hand to mouth(did i rememebr to mention that i even farmed while in school to pay my fees?) and today i am reaping it good with the Grace and Mercy of God i even broke the jinx of poverty in my lineage you might not accept it but it's a fact. |
this whole aristo thing depends solely on you, i hv also heard people who said they did it out of curiosity, but in my own case i felt i had a choice even though my parents were dead broke at the time i was in the university,i had an opportunity to cut the show with these "so called sugar mummy" i think i was 18 while she was 39 at that time, i am 6ft 3inches talls with muscular body too,so i had alot of females even student just wanting to be my friend, i decided otherwise and i did alot of small jobs (e.g bus conductor, worked at internet cafe, taught students like me extra moral classes etc) i even wrote gce, waec and even school exams for people (though another bad option) but i guess it was better than cutting it with one "MAMA" as she fondly called then, yet i graduated when 21 with a first class and broke a record set in engineering in my school as far back as 1984, i work in one of the 4 biggest multinational oil and gas company in the world today, i am married with a kid and i don't hv any regrets for taking the decisions i made then,it was rough but i stood and today i am winner who can afford those things he could never hv dreamt off ordinarily, we all can make a difference only if we are willing and willing in a positive way too. |
@coloba,,this is a response to your post dated march 12,2007, i wish i had your email that way i would have responded, however my candid opinion is that you register with an ARV clinic(Anti retroviral),do all the necessajry, take your drugs and use twice daily, i tell you that if you continue on stretch for 6 months minimum go for another round of test and believe me with God you might just get a result change, before i get criticised, have been there and it worked for me,i was in a relationship where the other pwrson is positive in 2005, i found out late infact she had TB(tubercolulosis),she was treated was on ARV drugs, tested her after nine months she came out negative and me i am still negative till today even though she tested positive initially since 2005,although it might be a miracle but i tell you even during 2005 when we all knew she was psotive she was really really healthy and extremely fresh and bubbling, but if you don't get a negative result after 6 months continue with your drugs, eat well extremely well and good food too i tell you ,you will be more than healthy |
haba that one no de difficult now,it's all about who you are, i used to do all that b4 i got married o but believe me we are three years married now and we have a time table that only allows us to go clubbing every once every three months,so you see it's all about who you are |
any other person with infos, i am waiting. |
i dont' see that as any problem as long my wife whom i married is good in handling cash, yes me and wife have even up to three joint accounts from, business to family and even dormitilary accounts |
