dee02 stop hating its not all naijas that are bad,i bought an honda crv 2007 in the month of june through nairaland and i have introduced more than 5 of my colleagues to the dealer and he has delivered big time more than my expectation

My brother that's never true, i was not born with any spoon talk more of a silver spoon,i worked through the ladder to get to the point that the Almighty has put me so leave silver spoon out of these, i met a lady who understood me in-to-to and believe me i have a wonderful family that i have ever dreamt and wanted,full stop!

it's not very easy to say goodbye,especially where there is love, i remember very well when i wanted to get married,i was in love with two chics (one was older than me while one was younger) and definately i had to choose one of them,it was really difficult infact at some point i wanted to loose my mind and sincerely i must confess that even though i choose the older person i still keep in very strong touch with the younger person though she is also married now,so the bottomline is goodbye hard ooo my brothers

well for me its doesnt matter,i have been married for three years now and my wife is a year older than me but you hardly tell even after our first child (maybe because she is into lots of exercises and doesn't use all the creams) i don't know but i know my wife is firm full of respect and i have a wonderful family too,so for me it's doesn't matter the most important is happiness and not how the person will look later in the future.

@morenike & rampagain, i feel you guyz o,believe me as a child i was taught never to eat out side especially in naija parties because you cant just trust anyone o, i have had cousines who ate food at parties and still carry a sickness until today in some cases passed on sef,so for any party especially naija parties never eat o,in the case of my father my mother will cook for him,keep it in cooler in the car if the man attends your party and he's hungry he will sneak into his car and eat there jeje

@chummybro in as much as i want to also say that you don''t meddle into a scenario you know little about,i still want to mention here too that odili shared our money among some nigerdelta contractors who ended up not doing our roads,our water and clean ing our messed environment,yes we have being cheated by the oil companies and govt. at large but definately our elders,govt. and some of us have either aided or contributed to these, i have been in a situation where a man from nigerdelta was given a position and all he did was used it against those of us from nigerdelta all because we all work in an oil company,so in as much these is the case,now we are waiting for yar-adua and he's new niger delta ministry,we want to see what exactly they will do for us as we are tired of our governor who cannot function even with all the 13% derivation in their coffers

@missshea,my advise to you is that your man stand's up for himself,he should tell his parents what he feels about the whole relationship,i am a nigerian based in nigerian and married to an older nigerian lady(she's two years older) we have a kid now and definately we too didn't notice the age difference until later into the relationship but i stood my grounds and fought my way into the heart of everyone,infact i remembered i told everyone that if they won't grace my marriage and bless it i will still go ahead,so let your man stand up because i am sure the parents will return to nigeria atleast after their vacation and you guys might still continue your life,so let him rise and speak up,he is the one in charge here.

@Ibime,igbos visit more because of their older folks are in the village while the yorubas especially those in lagos dont visit much because most of their elderly folks are in the cities,do you also know that alot of yoruba people don't take their people home for burial rites?

@fashizzle, i wanted to write a private mail to give you the low down but on second thought i decided to put that information here to help/assist others who might be in my shoes,like i mentioned earlier i have a brother who is medical doctor and who was able to guide me professionally,he mentioned to me that if i can take my ARV drugs for the first 60 days non-stop back then in 2005 that i cannot infect any other person,i was surprise because this is not the message being preached but i tend to agree with him since he's medical person,true to his word i used my drugs and never missed a day in the first 60 days while i also carried out my regular CD4 count to check the effectiveness of the drugs,i met my partner in 2005 i.e about 7 months after i was diagnosed and before we knew it we got married in 2006,had our baby march 2007,with the assistance and medical evidences from my brother and sincere love from my partner things worked out for us,the bottom line is proper medication,good food and love,my partner has ran HIV test atleast on ten occassion and witht he baby they are still negative,i remember i did mention in on thread here that if you meet me you can't think i have got HIV in any way,because within myself and seminars i speak,alot of people still wonders if i am truly positive.

well i did mine for the first time sometime in 2003 and it came out positive but ever since then i have made alot of iimprovement healthwise though i never fell sick and has never bring,i got the necessary drugs through my brother who is medical doctor and if you see me today you won't even notice a trace,i got married in 2005 and have a daughter, i take my free time off work to address other patients who are positive, i do also attend seminars where i speak on this disease and also encourage carriers.I have come across people who felt life was over for them but after i speak with them they find these eternal peace of mind especially when they see how active and bubbling that i am,the bottomline is one might be positive but it is never the end of the world and HIV or AIDs is not the most dreaded disease afterall.
