CrimeThe Family Of Sodienye Is Influencing The Case by carnal(op): 11:23am On Apr 20, 2017
ebusfav:
Sodienye Mbatumukeke and Excel Naabe, who were part of the 3-man gang that killed a Jumia delivery agent in Rivers State on March 25, 2017, remanded in custody by a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The suspects were arraigned on three count charge on Monday, before Chief Magistrate Amadi Amadi-Nna, according to charge no. PMC/697C/2017.

The charge read, “That you, Sodienye Mbatumukeke, on March 25, 2017, on Ada-Ede Street, Shell Location Mgbuoba, Port Harcourt, in the Port Harcourt Magisterial District, did use a pestle to hit the head of one Eleje Chukwuma, and robbed him of one Infinix Note 3 handset valued at N67,000, one IM-10 desktop GSM phone dual SIM, valued at N9,500, and one Gionee M6 phone, valued at N105,000; all valued at N181,000.00, property of Jumia Online Shopping Company, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 1 (2) (a) of the Rob

bery and Firearms (Special Provision) Act Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
“That you, Sodienye Mbatumukeke and Excel Divine Naabe, on the same date and place, in the aforementioned magisterial district, did conspire among yourselves to commit felony, to wit: murder, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 324 of the Criminal Code Cap 37 Vol. II Laws of Rivers State of Nigeria 1999.

“That you, Sodienye Mbatumukeke and Excel Divine Naabe, on the same date and place in the aforesaid magisterial district, did murder one Eleje Chukwuma, by hitting him on the head with a pestle and subsequently suffocated him by covering his head with a polythene bag, before tying him with a wire, which caused his death, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 319(1) of the Criminal Code Cap 37 Vol. II Laws of Rivers State of Nigeria 1999.”

Punch reports that the accused were arraigned by a prosceutor, Inspector Jonas Rufus, even as they (suspects) were without any defence counsel.

The third accused, Joy Eluwa, was not part of Monday’s arraignment in Port Harcourt.

However, when the case was mentioned in the court, the presiding magistrate, Amadi-Nna, stated that the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the matter as a result of the gravity of the offence.

Explaining that he would send the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice, Amadi-Nna adjourned the matter indefinitely, adding that the suspects could seek bail at the state High Court.

Whoeppme:
Did I hear the murderer attends deeper life Bible church ?
He doesnt attend deeper life Bible Church, the aunty who once lived with in Port Harcourt and who happens to be a senior lecturer at the university of port harcourt, attends deeper life church. among other things these aunty failed in parenting the boy, she supports the boy at every instance no matter what he does wrong, i hope she is happy now?
CrimeRe: Sodienye Mbatumukeke: Accused Murderer Of Jumia Delivery Man, Failed Parenting by carnal: 9:32am On Apr 06, 2017
The father isnt a lawyer, the biological dad is late (a policeman himself), while the guardian who happens to be an uncle who owns the property where the heinous crime was committed is an accountant and a staff of AGIP OIL company(Port Harcourt), he also has an aunt who is a senior lecturer at the university of PORT HARCOURT, the husband of these aunt happens to wield alot of influence. (SODIENYE is a student of uniport) they are the people making efforts to influence the matter and get him bailed out. they care less about the family of the delivery man, they have not find any means to contact them and assist them in any way nor have they showed any remorse, all they want is to get their "GOLDEN BOY" out of the police net.

Another point you raised was that he lives in lagos, nope he is a full port harcourt boy, the aunty who attends DEEPER LIFE BIBLE CHURCH failed in her parenting SODIENYE, she will always take sides with him, she will always support him no matter how wrong the boy can be, the uncle (so called dad) who works in AGIP OIL, tried severally to put the boy in the right path but the aunty who is a lecturer will always take sides, i hope she is glad that her effort on SODIENYE has turned out superb. Sodienye is from Ataba in Andoni Local Govt. Area of Rivers state.

please let us know, we all should not allow these subject to be swept under the carpet.

The aunty (who works at UNIPORT)along side her husband or the so called father (who works at AGIP OIL), we pray God will not give them the grace to influence the subject to their favour, if they try the anger and cry of the delivery man's family will spell doom on their lives, their son/brother has committed a crime, so he should face the weight of the law. Sodienye himself is already telling people around him that he will be out in no time.we the ordinary Nigerians shouldn't keep quite on these. The family of the delivery man deserve justice for the killing of their breadwinner.

Have we wondered that they might be another reason while they killed the delivery man aside the phone and power bike?my internal sources informed me that there was an sms on the girl's phone that indicated that some person(s) contacted her for kidney hence this is the ORIGINAL reason for their action, the girl in question is desperate, she was planning to travel to dubai to do runs and what we all assume (iphones and power bike), am still trying to double check on these facts.if any anyone has other info on these, please let us know, we all should not allow these subject to be swept under the carpet.

that Artillery junction by Rumuogba road has been like that for the past 4 years and we are told that the governor is in a hurry to develop the state.Plsssssssssss!!!!
if you know how small Port Harcourt is you will realise that with the state of the roads i have mentioned and a few others i have ignored, the city and its environs are in a permanent state of gridlock 24/7.Talk to people in PH and they are in a constant state of angst and irritation.
supported and absoutely true. i live on these road and past thru hell daily to-fro work from.

Ameachi has been tryin compare to Odili but the problem with amaechi govt is havin too many projects at the same time, take R.D road around okporo for instance that road has been lik that since 2007, seeveral letters has been writtent o govt without no solution in sight, during the operation zero pothholles that road was still neglected, i commend him for security, education, health care but i tink he also need to mandate the oil companies to do project for him just like he is currently doin with prodeco on the eastern bye pass roundabout
