What exactly was this visa issued for? One thing is certain here, dare write them that ”yeye” letter and your visa is cancelled. Way forward since you have the resources to birth in the US is to jejely just rebook another appointment to go inform them of the birthing plan, which I doubt you will agree to do.

From what I deduce she “suddenly” realised she’s 6 months gone about a month ago, that’s a month after her visa interview, which puts her at 7 months now. You don’t even have the luxury of time to quickly use the visa for the purpose it was issued. CBP will almost die with you to allow you in for birthing, but renewal of that visa if you go ahead just like that to birth with it is almost impossible.

The only gamble you can even dare take now is to go birth in an hospital that won’t give discount and the birthing bill should be $20-30k, you may then magically have a chance with both the CBP and the adjudicating officer during renewal if at all! You see?

The other less acceptable but best option is to just birth here in naija if possible to avoid all these wahala

moderator,please move to front page,its unfortunate how we have forgotten about the case of the jumia young man murdered some years back. any update from anyone in the house?i hear the wife and children are suffering with jumia refusing to assist in any way or even give any form money, how can we help these people so that the death of these young man wont go the way of others without any justice meted out to the offenders?

goodmorning house,i have a situation with a colleague at work, they were granted visa (b1/b2) in late January, now wifey realised she is 6 weeks pregnant in mid-february after visa was out, she intend to put to bed in the u.s.
My advise to them;
1.write embassy and inform them that wifey is pregnant and they intend to put to bed since there is enough fund available.

Please gurus in the house, i will appreciate further advise to assist my friend.

Me: we travelled late because hubby is very busy, he currently manage a major gas project in the NigerDelta for xyz oil and gas firm. i didnt put to bed in the U.s again because, we have a family physician (my hubby's brother)in the U.k hence opted for it. he has been there practicing for 11 years

justwise and other gurus in the house, i paid for IHS on 16th October 2018, visa was denied, however up till now, i have not seen refund. i have mailed and mailed and mail (to UKIV, after 5.45 pounds payment),all i get is apologies plus 15 working days waiting time, i am yet to get my refund, can anyone advise me how best to go about these,i need the money. please advise is needed

No need to attach any document. Like I said just fill the form and book appointment.
If ds160,has issues then just try later. Probably a tech glitch

Dropbox is the same process as fresh application.
Fill ds 160 form then book your interview appointment process, when you're booking your interview appointment the system will ask questions that you click your 6&6 to see if you qualify for dropbox. You can then choose to do dropbox or not.

Six months stamp in though visa expires in December.i think the letter from company made things easier,stating project am handling and etc

Either way he maybe called up for interview during renewal... my fear is that he maybe deported (denied entry) because he waited till his visa has almost expired before traveling except in a case where he has solid travel history.
If it was me... I will risk it and spend less than 2 weeks in U.S before my visa expire.

ok, info is clear ,he has alot of travel history, he will also get a letter from HR stating he has requested for these trip on 5 occassion but was not granted due to project he is handling at work place, what do you think?and he is staying for 15 days, i.e 6 days before visa expiration

It is at the discretion of the CBP officer to let him into U.S or not and decide on how long he will stay in U.S but instead of doing that why not renew the visa and apply for his father asap.... but if he's ready to answer a lot of questions he can go ahead with his travel plan.

@seyewest, are you saying he can apply for renewal of visa before expiration or do you mean he should wait for it to expire then apply for renewal, please clarify?he didnt use the visa atall since it was issued, hence the need to travel before expiration, advise

Good Morning my good friends! I want to renew my UK visa to 2years. I have understood there is no option in the website for visa renewal then I apply as fresh application.
Now I want to renew my visa using conference /workshop as my reasons for applying which will not take Max two weeks and I need a 2year visa.
Is it possible for VO to grant you 2year visa for just a conference or do I use the previous reasons I gave which is visiting my cousin. Also is it possible for you to tick 6months and VO will grant 2years for me since it's renewal.
Secondly I have 7.6M in my account but transfered 1.5 to a very close relation to support him for something. Will that affect my visa. My bank transaction details is transparent . I work in one of the oil and gas industry and receive upto 600k per month. My fear is that huge amount I removed from my account if it will speak against me.

Please I your advice

from my little knowledge about UK visa, i dont think you have anything to worry about.i know people who got 5yrs visa with balance of less than 2M.
