@ Seun Please don't compare home videos and sports. That's all i have to say. men! |
Studied Electrical Engineering, majored in Power and Machines, did my intership in an I.T. firm so fully into I.T. now. Have a few certifications and attended some IT courses. I am definitely having challenges with the way knowledge is passed across in this country. |
please |
I need a one room self contain or two bedroom flat in Lekki, Ikoyi, V/I or VGC. Would love a one year or one and half year option. |
I think I am in a revolting mood today! How come when peeps have issues, some just go talking about God fearing men and the likes. Peeps make mistakes even the God fearing ones do. Shit happens guys! My advice, see each moment in life as an experience gained. All the best all. |
Hmmm! I hope u guys wont be too alarmed I know 20 from my dad: 10 men, 10 women. I hate to call any of them boys or girls 'cause they aint that at all. I am the nineteenth and I am a grown man. Last boy in the family. I am not of this generation! I have nephews and nieces that have given birth to people far older than I am, and sometimes they tease me by calling me uncle which I am in the true sense of the word. Isn't life funny! Sometimes I just wonder, what would happened if family planning had been considered? |
Does anyone know the website for la campaigne tropicana. I need to check them out. |
I would recommend it! |
It works pretty fine for me. I have used three times now. |
If u do not have a job presently, i believe a week is okay. If u have a job, try to honour your employment contract (it might make your interviewer think highly of you). In some cases questions like 'if your employer does not get a replacement for you by the time u are ready to leave, what will you do?' (for critical positions) : say u might need to stay longer for your employer to get someone but that you are confident they will get someone before that time. Some Interviewers want you immediately, and they would tell you straight up (we want you in 2weeks). If the pay is good, i am sure there are ways to play with ur employment contract. Most contracts will state a month notice or a month salary in lieu of notice. N.B. Employment contract doesn't mean that you are doing a "contract job" |
I don't like house chores too, so this is what I do since i don't have much of a choice. When ironing, I watch a movie(s) (u need to be careful with this one) For others i just listen to loud music and have fun while at it. After all wetin man for do when he never marry. lol |
I need to know what my options are as regards the project. What do i need? A secure website An account with interswitch and paypal Which companies can implement such a project in Nigeria what are my options? All I need is a plan to get started. |
I will get back to you guys soon. Thank you for your posts |
We would be providing ecommerce services to our clients. Actually we do some form of ecommerce already 'cause we receive mails for requests for our products and services and get back to our clients on time. What we want to achieve now it to be able to sell on our website or some other secure website we might be building such that a visitor to the site can make a purchase using a credit card or debit card as the case might be. A portal sounds more like it and like I said earlier it will be web based. Thank you for ur response, i have learnt something just by reading ur words. |
Agege bread and fried egg will do just fine! |
Resume 8:00am Close 5:30pm officially but we all know that's not usually the case if traffic hold-up both ways is like 2-3hrs and have to work late atimes |
Nice to read stuffs like this. Congrats! ![]() |
@software 97 Set (G Shorunke's tenure as headboy) |
Good plan. Please make sure u are doing one thing @ a time, set targets for yourself, create time for fun and you would be glad u did. Most people end up distracted and it becomes almost impossible to re-trace their steps. Write down your plans on how you expect to achieve this e.g. say u need to do six different exams to be ACCA certified, write down when you would like to achieve this and spread your exams or training over that period. Be wise to leave some redundant time for extensions and contact those who are in the process of also getting certified or those already certified, that will help you set a realistic time frame. One last thing, be flexible as your career path and interests might change later, try to accommodate them. Wishing you the very best! |
Hi Nairalanders, I am a Network/System Administrator where I work. I am supposed to provide Technical/Administrative support for an e-commerce project my company will be embarking on soon (a vendor will be handling it). Unfortunately, I know little about ecommerce (we would like to sell products and services online) and I am having a hard time getting a strategy drawn out. My employers do not know much about IT and assume once something is 'IT' related, an IT personnel should know it. I have taken this upon myself to do my best and would need help to get on with it hoping that the experience will be worth while 'cause sincerely I am not interested (it is way off the career path that I have set for myself). Too bad it is not my call. Kindly assist with anything you can, experiences, notes and encouragements are highly welcome. Thanks |
Try first Saturday in May as the club will not be open this Saturday due to Elections and next Saturday due to Environmental Sanitation. hope u had a lovely journey? |
@ope_emi we appreciate your humour @topojons where did you train before you stopped? Ever heard of any guy called 'Ghost'? Stick to your wifey! @kellorah (i wish i was) It not difficult and from your profile you reside in Uk; there are lots of good places and a wide choice of arts to choose from. Just don't think much 'bout it, walk into a school. |
Hahaha! @junegirl Haba It was a secondary school. Airforce Secondary School |
I see we are all having fun! I also believe in modern arts too ( Ak-47, semi-automatic pistols, colt and the likes as I had the opportunity of attending a military school)but most martial arts also have weapons learning e.g swords, knives and darts and lots more. What is most important is trying to attain perfection in one's life: that is the 'martial' in the Arts. I agree that resource people is also an issue, no good dojos around etc. Lets make the best out of what we can get |
@software Are u an IT Professional? @iice and junegirl Try this site The guy doesnt send the newsletters regularly but it might help to still register for them and read past editions http://mmm.cloudwater.com trying not to post active links: replace mmm with www |
@software Haba! easy man! I bet u cant even handle a rifle as much as I can. hey! we are here to have fun |
@junegirl anybody could practice Tai Chi, , google it!I can assure you, you will still be lady-like |
@junegirl I dont look bad and peeps call me Jet Li (they say my forefathers might have been Chinese or Japanese, so are you asking me out? lol @ Vieira Once had a friend that showed me something related to that but cant remember what he called it. Men! the guy just folded the magazine he was using for his project and before we knew it he was uncontrollable. Interesting art @ibkn you would be surprised @ what is out there. Those folded 'papers' are something else especially when you know where to hit. |
@mukina2 well, dont we? |
HAhaha! @junegirl Girl I wish u were in Lagos. Although, I am far from being a Sensei I am sure I can still teach a lot. The marriage thing is really interesting and tempting! That's if you wont mind Jet Li for a husband sha O! Nwayz don't know of any Dojo in Abuja but will ask my sensei and get back to as soon as possible. I am happy to tell that I believe you took the right decision back in school. We have all had to leave things that we enjoy doing to deal with the ones that matter @ that time but nothing says we can't get back to them. I have a kid in me that missed some things back then, i try to make up for those times in the best possible way. |
@Mukina2 Read ur posts a lot. Some scary and some really nice. We have something in common! I am a Gunner |
