Ibrahim Idris and Abubakar Audu did not come unnoticed. However, Bello was never expected to the governor. Same as Idris Wada.
who could have thought an Ibrahim idris described as an "ordinary carpenter" would unseat Audu? Who even knew him before then? Atiku was the mastermind of his emergence and they rigged Audu out for Ibro.

Audu came out in 93, not many saw him as a force , despite holding a political office(commissioner in benue state I think). I'm not talking about his voyage in 99, I'm talking about his foray into politics.

could have been run by a state like Dangote is doing? Tell me any governor in Nigeria that can bring such investment if not Audu. He built that place. No governor can match that.

My man, it seems you are ground. Usman Jibrin could have won yahya Bello in the primary election if not for the disqualification.
I learnt the entire Igala nation was tilting towards him, and hope uzodinma and the party did their thing. And this Wada came and no one expected him.

Mark this post: Wada just like everyone who has ruled that state came - they come unnoticed. Wada will win this election.

APC agreed to drop him for an igala candidate before, why they make a sudden change and decide to support him is what I can't understand, if PDP win this election, Dino will have more grip of power in kogi since he can now relate with the sitting governor, then bello must fly away and never enter this country again, because by the time they open his yansh, even Buhari will carry cutlass and be looking for him(bello) everywhere.
I don't know why apc(my party) is against obaseki but supports yahaya bello. They miscalculated by disqualifying the likes of usman jibrin who could have given them an easy win against pdp for bello.

Igalas suffered same thing back then in Benue, they never tasted governorship till they created another state for them, if not for audus death, what will igbira man be doing in lugard house........
from plateau, to kwara, to benue, igalas were not considered, until Kogi was created. Those who are complaining won't support their tribe ceding its population bargaining power.

Abubakar Audu was never useless.
Even as a passerby in Lokoja, you will notice most of the meaningful projects in Lokoja today are those he did in his 4yr stint.
Don't mind those useless kids here who know nothing about politics. How can any sane mind say Audu was useless? Stella Obasanjo square In lokoja was a beautiful edifice then before successive administrations abandoned it to be overgrown by weeds.

Don't let this deceive you

Igala population 40% (Mostly Kogi East)

Okun Yoruba 20% of population (Mostly West)

Ebira 30% (Central and west)

Nupe, Hausa, ogori, Idoma, Eggon, igbo/Igalas etc 10%

So far PDP are winning amongst the Igala and Okun

APC is only winning among the Ebiras

Except trends reverse PDP have won this
Igala is 65% of the entire population of that state.

Gbam!!! but mostly from the east and central. West is a bit neutral. West is mostly a test of popularity and political might.
the running-mate to Wada is from there and you could see how that is dictating the voting too.

It's not that simple oh

Kogi East is not entirely Igala as Some Nupes and idomas are found among them

Kogi west is not entirely Okun-Yoruba as some Ebiras and Nupes are amongst them

Only Ogori-Magogo is not Ebira in Kogi central and Bello have forced them to vote for him.
you're wrong.

It seems the only Igala LGA ready for business.
Those ones don't joke. They are tough and fight silently too. Anyone that has been able to govern Kogi won in ankpa. If Bello loses in ankpa, he's doomed. To rule Kogi, you must win in ankpa. Audu understood this more than everyone.

Yes, I think about that commandment oftentimes. But in all fairness, I've been really good to him inspite of everything. I've been the peacemaker trying to get my siblings to forgive him.

But for that marriage part, for some reasons, I just don't want to go to the village... nor do I want him walking me down the aisle.

I'll really consider born2breed's advice.

.
just listen to your uncle or have someone talk to him to allow your dad take the bride price and go. I don't think your father deserves anything, on a second thought, he's still your father, except DNA proves otherwise. I still feel if he gets everything , it will make other men misbehave knowing fully well that they can have their ways at the end.
There's something your dad hasn't told u about your mom, her family or you, his children . If you don't tread carefully, he might use your wedding to say stuff that will destroy ur marriage and turn ur man against u.
I'm only sad ur wonderful mom is not here.

He has everything to lose if he's out of power.
