Let's do a little calculation

Last year, the official dollar rate was 197. At 160, the FG subsidized the Christian pilgrimage by slashing 18. 78% off the official market rate

Today's interbank market rate is above 320. At 197, that's a whopping 61% reduction.

How is that comparable ?

Also bear in mind that the parallel market rate last year during the Christian pilugrmage was less than 210. So for each $1000 a pilgrim would have realised less than 50k profit which does not even cover cost of ticket.

Today's black market rate us almost 400. So Muslim pilgrim will make approx 203k profit for each $1000

Again I ask you, how is this comparable?

Since you could write up this lengthy article to to defend FG's actions as fairness , you should have concluded objectively by saying that a fair price for the Muslim pilgrims would have been in the region of 265- 270 (not 197)

I repeat, we have the worst set of Christians in Nigeria- very shallow-minded ones.
