Residents of Ibadan, Oyo state capital were shocked to discover a man dead in his Prado Jeep late in the night. According to radio journalist Abiodun Adewole of Spalsh FM, the man simply identified as Baba Kabiru went to greet his father and was returned dead in a mysterious circumstance which has got tongues wagging.

The man was found partially naked with his trousers removed as he laid unresponsive in his car.

Residents have ascribed his death to various circumstances which are yet to be verified as at the time of filing this report.

May his soul rest in peace.

Umudagu Mbieri in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo state was on Wednesday thrown upside down as the youths of the community went amok ,setting houses on fire. According to reports, one Ifeanyi Ibeawuchi had allegedly kidnapped and murdered his 22-year-old cousin ,Ifeanyi Ogu over a missing laptop.

The killing of the young man made youths of the community to take laws into their own hands by setting ablaze the suspect’s family house.

The fire, however, spread to other buildings around and efforts of a combined detachment of police operatives from the state police command and the Mbieri division prevented the fire from causing more havoc.

It took a combined detachment of police operatives from state police command and Mbieri police division for normalcy to return to the area.

The suspect and his family members are currently at Large .

Controversial Zambian based Nigerian Prophet, Andrew Ejimadu of the Christ Freedom Ministries (CFM) also known seer 1 is in the news again after claiming he made a young man a millionaire days after he bathed him and other church members with money. Some Policemen from Edo State Command Headquarters raided a Marijuana joint at Ogbesasa Street, Off Sokponba Road and arrested some persons in connection with Marijuana. According to reports, one Usiomoifo Micheal, a driver of Dr. David Iyamu, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Christ Medical Center close to the joint and the Doctor's Cousin were innocently arrested where they went to buy candle sticks because of power outage.

The said Usiomoifo Micheal was mercilessly brutalized by the Police because he demanded to know the rationale behind his unjust arrest and was subsequently taken to the Command alongside others.

The attention of the State Commissioner of Police was drawn to the brutalization meted on the man. According to Kola Edokpayi, the ComPol was not happy with the way the police brutalized the man.

He ordered for his immediate release and the man is presently receiving treatment in the hospital.

Hundreds of youths known for their notoriety in stealing, cattle rustling and other forms of criminality - today repented and swore never to return to their bad ways. The youths said to be from Sumaila and Tudu Wada communities in the state, surrendered their arms as they were made to swear an oath with Quran placed on their heads - that they will never steal again.

The event was witnessed by the leaders of the communities who administered the oaths, police officers who received the surrendered weapons and the other villagers.

Troops of 21 Brigade supported by members of the Civilian Joint Task Force deployed in Operation Lafiya Dole to conduct Counter terrorism and Counter insurgency operations in the North East have rescued 148 civilians held hostage by Boko Haram terrorists in Modu Kinetic, a remote village in Bama Local Government Area of Borno state.

The troops rescued the hostages during an extensive Clearance Operation on Sunday 3rd June 2018, to rid the general area of Bama, Modu Kimeri and Gulumba Gana of fleeing elements of Boko Haram terrorists who had escaped from the ongoing troops' onslaught in the Lake Chad Islands and fringes of the northern borders of Borno State.

The rescued hostages, comprising 15 men, 58 Women and 75 Children revealed during a joint profiling and interrogations by troops of operation Lafiya Dole and other security agencies, that the Boko Haram terrorists had sexually violated the females and used them as sex slaves. Two pregnant teenage girls are among the rescued persons. The rescued persons further disclosed that the men were not spared, as they were regularly engaged in forced labour while in the captivity of the terrorists. They will be promptly handed over to officials of Bama Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp for welfare and administration.

The troops have also successfully cleared adjoining villages including China, Sabon Gari-1, Sabon Gari-2, Sabon Gari-3 and Sabon Gari-4 villages. Other areas cleared by troops along the axis of operation are Nguzoduwa, Falla, Bulangala, Botori and Bula Matawa villages.

Additionally, troops recovered 22 Dane Guns, one tool box used for fabricating local fire arms, four Boko Haram flags, a motorcycle and one Bow and 20 Arrows.

The Nigerian Aiye cultist who was brutally murdered by rival gang in South Africa last month - has been laid to rest. The deceased nicknamed Romeo – was attacked and shot dead by suspected cultists. According to confirmed reports, the deceased was said to be a member of the Aiye confraternity otherwise known as Black Axxe cult group a.k.a Egede.

He was buried in a low key ceremony graced by few friends.

A man has passed away after he was allegedly stabbed by a Custom officer along Enugu/Port-Harcourt expressway. According to reports, the victim's intestines came out after he was stabbed and died few minutes later after he was rushed to the hospital.

A health worker based in Abia state, Ahukanna Chinonso shared the sad news online and wrote;

This world is wicked even the people living in it... This man was hale and hearty this morning before this misfortune met him. This MAN was stabbed by a custom officer along enugu portharcourt express way in aba about an hour ago and his intestines pooped out, he was restless before he was rushed to the hospital, few minutes leta, he gave up the ghost. Even the custom officer that slapped him is no where to be found but some of his colleagues that were present when the incident took place are now in the police custody. WHAT A WICKED WORLD.

A woman has reportedly fled her home after allegedly pouring hot water on her husband on Tuesday, May 29th at Iya-Itire area of Lagos. According to reports, the woman identified as Joy allegedly attacked her husband, Akachi with hot water for refusing to open the door after returning home late by 11 pm.

It was gathered that out of grievance of being locked out the previous night, the woman refused to prepare meal for her children this morning. Rather, she prepared hot water which she used on her husband and injured him in the process.

The woman fled after the alleged act.

This happened early today in lagos @ iyan-itire. This woman poured her husband hot water this morning because he has refuse to open the door for her when she returned from an unknown place by 11pm. The police @ iyan-iteri police station has refuse to arrest the woman by name Joy till she ran away.

According to reports filtering in from Kogi, six persons were killed yesterday night following an alleged cult clash in Anyigba, Dekina local government area of the state. It was gathered that the victims were gunned down at various places in the community. One person was reportedly killed at Ofejikpi, one at Kaduna Efekpe, two at Anwa Muslumi, one at Ijebu-ode, one at Ofeko Anyigba.

Soldiers were deployed to Anyigba Community this morning to maintain peace in the area.

A 22-year-old lady has revealed what she passed through before and after she got pregnant for a married man with seven wives. According to the lady, she started dating the man when she was 19 years old (while the man was 40 years) after he allegedly lied and deceived her before she fell in love with him during her industrial training, I.T.

After getting pregnant, she gave birth to a set of twins prematurely before one later passed away after tha man allegedly abandoned her while he was getting married to another lady whom he impregnated.

The lady also accused the man of beating her four times as she said her parents are forcing her to marry him due to what he gives their daughter.

The General Manager of Dangote Cements, Mani Manoharan is dead. The top executive was said to have died at the Kovai Medical Center and Hospital in India after suffering from a heart attack. A colleague and assistant general manager at Dangote Cement in Gboko, Benue state, Subramanian Chettipalayam shared the sad news via his Facebook page.

Below is what he wrote;

With huge pain and deep sorrow, I inform you all that, my God father, mentor, Spiritual and technical Guru Mani Manoharan, Chief General Manager, of Dangote Cements, Nigeria, last his breath by today evening in KMCH hospital Coimbatore. He had a severe heart attack. It is a great loss to Madam.Kiruba Manoharan, his family, relatives and disciple like me and much more others. I.reguest you all to pray for his soul to Rest in Peace.

This is coming after te manager of the Dangote cement plant in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Deep Kamra, was shot dead by unknown gunmen on May 16th.

According to reports, Kamra, his secretary and driver were returning home from the factory when the assailants attacked his car. Kamra died from the gunshot wounds he received. The driver and secretary were also shot at during the shooting..
