According to Idowu Adewale, he prefers to sleep in a trench than to sleep on a mattress because there is 'no big boy in the bush'.

The brave army personnel shared pictures of himself ''chilling'' in his space while staying alert in order to be alive.

Two young men were paraded earlier today round Ibusa community in Delta state after they were caught stealing. The suspects were apprehended after allegedly stealing a motorcycle.. The owner raised an alarm as people around gave the robbers a hot chase and caught them.

The robbers were caught, beaten and paraded publicly before being handed over to the police.

According to reports, the two guys confessed to the crime and that they have been stealing people's motorcycles before.

Renewed cult clash has claimed one life in Cross River State. According to reports, a security guard was attacked rival cult group close to a bank in Calabar, the state capital. The deceased who was brutally murdered in broad daylight - was alleged to be a cult member before his death.

This is coming after a cult clash recently claimed two lives in Cross River State. One each died in Calabar south and Calabar Municipal.

According to reports, the two victims were said to be members of Klans and Axe cult groups. Somebody from Klans killed an Axe man and the next morning there was a reprisal from .

The Calabar residents are calling on the state government and security operatives to come to their aid and stop the senseless killings.

A vigilante member identified as by name Kingsley was shot at close range at Laboured Road Junction axis of Sapele, Delta State while trailing perceived armed robbers some days ago at about 3:15 am.

According to reports, the security operative who survived the gunshot - was rushed to the hospital and after a proper medical diagnosis, it was observed that the bullet affected his intestine.

Report has it that the Chairman, Sapele Local Government Area, who doubles as both the local government chairman and the Chief Security Officer of Sapele, is yet to respond to request to fund the treatment of the vigilante member who almost died while protecting his community.

The man is currently being treated at an undisclosed hospital.

Angry residents in Naka town in Makurdi, Benue state went on rampage and set some areas on fire after the tragic death of a motorcyclist popularly known as Okada rider who was allegedly killed by the police.

According to an eyewitness report, trouble started after the police seized a motorbike from the Okada rider which made his colleagues (other motorcyclists) join to demand for its release.

In the course of the exchange between the Okada riders and the police, one of them was shot dead.

This made angry residents and Okada riders go on rampage to protest against the man's death.

Governor Yahaya Bello today stormed Irepeni forest in Kogi Central to identify with the military men and women combating criminals in the state. The Kogi governor who rocked a military uniform - visited the troops to boost their morale and also encourage them.

Governor Bello inspected the Military Exercise, Ayem Akpatuma ( Cat Race) at their Irepeni Base.

The governor took the pleasure of eating from a roadside food seller as others looked on.

This is coming five days after Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West senatorial district in the national assembly accused the Kogi state government of importing prohibited items such as military uniforms, bullet proof vest, night vision goggles, tactical boots among other things.

A 20-year-old boy identified as Umar Muhammad has been found dead after committing suicide in the Kandahar suburb of Hadejia, Jigawa State. According to reports, the young man was found dead, after allegedly hanging himself on a tree near a river in Kandahar area.

His neighbors and friends have revealed that the victim was suffering from depression before his death.

Jigawa State police spokesman ASP Audu Jinjiri confirmed the incident.

Meet Dr. Obinna Ebirim, the young Nigerian man who is making the country proud both home and abroad especially in the United Kingdom. According to confirmed information obtained by National Helm, Dr. Obinna who holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Port Harcourt - is a postgraduate governor and a member of board of governors at the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen Scotland.

According to reports, Obinna, is the first Nigerian and only black man to currently hold such post (member of governing body) at the prestigious university in the UK.

Due to his striking humility and nature to positively affect those around him, the former personal Assistant to Commissioner of Health in Imo state, Dr. Obinna had to take a part-time job as a kitchen assistant in the United Kingdom just to make some extra bucks despite his qualification as a medical doctor in the UK.

Dr. Obinna Ebirim is also a fellow of the United States Mandela Washington Fellowship for young African leaders and is currently a senior program officer for International Vaccine Access Center projects in Nigeria.

He also volunteers as a medical doctor in his church’s free sickbay for poor parishioners. Obinna is founder of the Impact Driven Young Leaders Initiative, a member of All Progress Youth Forum, and content developer for YALI Network Abuja.

Obinna is a recipient of many awards including Glitz Award Student Activist of the Year 2010, Timiwest Oyins Integrity Award for Innovative Leadership 2011, Association of Resident Doctors UPTH Medical House Officer of the Year 2012/2013. A suspected rapist was arrested by security operatives on Friday, March 9th, while trying to rape a schoolgirl. The suspect was immediately descended upon as he was mobbed and beaten mercilessly by the people around before the police intervened.

The incident happened in Lundi, Masvingo area of Zimbabwe.

One of the passersby who was present during the arrest - was spotted enjoying the 'view' of the suspect's joystick before he was taken away by the police.

The mystery surrounding the death of two young lovers in Delta state is yet to unraveled by police authorities. According to reports, a boyfriend and girlfriend were found dead yesterday morning in the apartment of a friend where they went to sleep in Mosogar, Sapele area of Delta state.

According to Sapele Oghenek, the pair identified as Matthew and Bose were said to have gone out to buy Suya on Thursday night before the boyfriend took Bose to his friend's house whey they went to sleep.

The owner of the house and his girlfriend was said to have slept in the room while Matthew and his girlfriend Bose slept in the parlor. Their friend was reportedly shocked to have woken up the next morning and discovered that the young lovers had died in the parlor.

Their corpses have been evacuated and deposited at a mortuary as the owner of the house has been detained by the police to help with the investigation.

According to reports, some people are saying the pair may have died from the Suya they ate the previous night while others are saying they may have died after inhaling generator fumes.

Whatever the case might be, may their souls rest In peace.

Nollywood actor and lawyer, Kenneth Okonkwo paid a courtesy visit to former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani at his office on Thursday. The veteran actor recently declared his intention to run for Enugu State governorship election under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC ahead of the 2019 election.

Posting photos from the visit, he said the senator vowed to install an APC-led Government in Enugu State come 2019.

"It can only be God. I was with Distinguished Former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani, who is like a Father to me today in his office. An 18-year-old man , Adeyoju Gbenga of Ogo Oluwa area, Abete in Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti state has been apprehended for allegedly defiling a 3-year-old girl. According to a report, the suspect took his victim into the room early this week and had canal knowledge of her.

Due to the shameful act, strange fluid has been coming out of the minor’s private part, Omo Edema reports.

It was gathered that that wasn’t his first time and the mom of the victim only got to know after the victim’s sister drew her attention to it.
