The Nigeria Customs Service has launched the newly introduced additional uniform for its officers. The uniform was showcased by the Deputy Comptroller-Generals (DCG) Tariff and Trade, Isa Talatu Mairo and the national public relations officer, DC Attah Joseph.

The Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali has been heavily criticized for not wearing the agency's uniform. Some senators expressed concern over Ali’s defiance of the National Assembly by appearing in mufti despite the letter sent to him, specifying that he should appear in uniform.

On, this there have been several divisions as to whether the Customs Boss, a former military administrator, is mandated by law as the top official to wear uniform or not. His car and aircraft carry the official logo of Customs but he wears mufti. Also, his salary is as 'Customs' Boss. But he wears mufti.

A team of Nigerian police officers have been hailed online following a nice gesture rendered to an old woman. According to a report, the police officers met the stranded woman and helped her after her bunch of palm fruits fell off from the wheelbarrow.

Uchenna Onyeizu who hails from Aba, Abia state, wrote;

Today, I saw the Nigeria Policemen from a very good point of view. This old woman was trying to tie her bunch of palm fruits to her bike when they suddenly fell off. These policemen were passing and stopped to give a helping hand. I was driving behind them and without their knowledge I smartly took these pictures!!! Really, we still have some men in uniform rendering unnoticed services to humanity. God bless you guys with promotions and good things of life!!!

Three suspected robbers met their ends at the hands of an angry mob today at Uyo-Itam junction along Calabar/Itu Highway in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital. After their alleged capture, the suspects were descended upon and beaten mercilessly before they were set ablaze by irate residents of the area.

The jungle justice was said to have happened quickly before the arrival of the police authorities.

A man simply known as Wilson has been accused for drugging and raping a 14-year-old orphan in Abuja. According to the victim's neighbour, the teenage girl allegedly got pregnant for the young man who refused to own up to his responsibility.

It was also revealed that the family where the girl works as a housemaid - want to throw her out of the house for probably;y bringing shame to them.

A woman has been arrested following a reported case of extreme violence against her grandchild. According to reports, the little girl's hands were placed in a gas stove by her grandmother until her hands got badly burnt because the hungry girl ate Indomie noodles against her grandmother's wish. The sad incident happened some days ago in Benin city, Edo state.

A well meaning Nigerian who witnessed the incident reported the case to the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs and the Ministry has stepped in, arrested the grand mother and have taken the child to UBTH for prompt medical care and attention.

Police operatives attached to the Borno state command have apprehended one Musa Faisal in connection with alleged acid attack on his 26-year old girlfriend, Fatima Usman. The Commissioner of Police (CP) in the state, Mr Damian Chukwu, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen in Maiduguri on Thursday.

Fatima Usman, a final year student of Department of Nursing, University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) was attacked with corrosive fluid by suspected tricycle operators in Maiduguri on March 16.

The police boss also revealed that the suspect and the victim dated for over four years and Fatima Usman’s parents rejected the marriage proposal by Faisal.

She sustained serious injuries on the face and other parts of her body as a result of the attack.

Chukwu disclosed that the suspect, Musa Faisal, was arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Kano.

He explained that the police had also arrested one Muhammad Babangida, who conspired with Faisal and attacked the girl.

The commissioner said preliminary investigation indicated that the suspects conspired and assaulted the girl, contrary to the notion that she was attacked by tricycle operators.

The police said that the suspects had admitted committing the offence, adding that they would soon be charged to court.

Police operatives attached to the Enugu state command have arrested one Tochukwu Idu Chianugo for allegedly killing and beheading one Sussana Enejere of Ugbene Ajima in Uzo Uwani LGA of Enugu State.

According to Coalcity Connect, the deceased Sussana left for farm in the morning of Monday 26th March, 2018 but did not return home.

The police was notified and investigation carried out lead to the arrest of Tochukwu. On interrogation, Tochukwu confessed to killing Sussana and burying her body in a shallow grave.

The corpse and the severed head of Sussana has since been deposited in a mortuary as the suspect is in Police Custody.

The reason for him killing her is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

President Muhammadu Buhari's three children, Yusuf, Zahra and another paid a surprise visit to their father's Aide-De-Camp, Colonel Mohammed Lawal Abubakar who turned 45-years-old yesterday. The president's children presented him with a cake as they joined in celebrating with him.

The Aide-De-Camp (ADC) to President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, was born on the 28th March 1973 at Wusasa Zaria. He attended Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria from 1985 – 1990 where he developed early leadership skills. As fate designed it, like President Muhammadu Buhari, Colonel Abubakar was also the Head Boy of his set (Popularly known as Boy Regimental Sergeant Major).

After graduating from NMS in 1990 he had a stilt stay at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria as a science undergraduate student. He later proceeded to Nigerian Defence Academy in 1992 on gaining admission as a member of 44 Regular Course to read Biological Sciences.

He is a tested and experienced commander, trained and discipline instructor, security manager and a talented investigator.

A suspected pedophile who was caught allegedly raping a teenage girl today was dealt with by an angry mob in Anyigba town, Dekina Local Government of Kogi State. The accused rapist was allegedly caught in the act while defiling the girl before he was apprehended.

The angry youths beat him black and blue and paraded him unclad in public before he was handed over to the police authorities.

Investigation into the matter has begun.

A Nigerian man has revealed how a married man has been disturbing him for hook-up with another lady. According to Ben Victor, the unnamed man always requested for a hook up with a lady who resides outside Nigeria after pretending he is single.

Victor disclosed that he got to know that the man is legally married after his wife who even didn't know what was happening - had a private chat with him (victor) on WhatsApp where she revealed that 'loneliness is killing her' despite living with her husband.

When the man was confronted for lying about being single, he said he's no longer interested in the marriage and that he wants to break out from the ''cage''.

There is this young man that has been disturbing me for hook up for marriage. He won't request the usual hook up like others but will always insist he wants a lady residing outside Nigeria. But to my shock last night, I got to know that the lady that has been complaining to me about her husband is his wife. She lives with the husband but it's as if she lives alone. Last night, she chatted me up with the same complaint and for the first time, I asked her the husband's Facebook name and she mentioned this same guy that has been disturbing me for hook up.

I chatted him up immediately and asked him why he is lying to me, he now said that his mind is no longer in the marriage. Meaning that he just want to get hooked up with a lady outside and run away, leaving her wife frustrated here.

The officers of Nigerian Civil Defense and Security Corps (NCDSC) Enugu Headquarters have been accused of gruesomely murdered a young. According to Augustus Ngene, the security officials chased a commercial bus with passengers on board from New market area as the bus driver drove up hill to Ngwo (Milliken Hill) for an alleged violation of traffic rules.

The members of NCDSC opened live ammunition (shootings) targeting the bus in motion with passengers in the bus during morning periods of Thursday 22nd March, 2018. Unfortunately the bus entered the valley in Milliken hill caught fire and burnt Mr Ikpechukwu, a young peaceful graduate to death.

The deceased is set to be buried today at his hometown in Nsukka area of Enugu state. May his soul rest in peace.

A 74-year-old woman with large brain tumor scheduled for overseas (Germany) - has been successfully operated upon in Rivers state.

With deteriorating condition, the patient was successfully operated and tumor removed at Prof. Kelsey Harrison Hospital, Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital - by a team of Nigerian Surgeons of International Trauma & Critical Care Ltd (ITCC) managers of the hospital.

Another feat by ITCC in reducing medical tourism outside Nigeria.
