According to multiple online reports, a man identified as Olugbemiga Adeboye Elijah Nurudeen has one day which is very significant in his life (Wednesdays). Reports reveal that the late Yoruba musician and entertainer was born on Wednesday 30th September 1959. He passed away on Wednesday 30th April 2003. He was said to have started his education on Wednesday, released his first album on Wednesday among other things which reportedly happened on Wednesdays in his life.

An appeal is being made due to medical condition a 4-year-old child from Ibadan, Oyo state was born with. The little child was born an hermaphrodite. The distraught parents who are concerned about the issue - have desired to know whether the child is actually a male or female through a medical examination but are said t be financially restrained.

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the original FIFA World Cup Trophy ahead of the 2018 Football World Cup, CHAN Super Eagles Team and Bobsleigh Winter Olympic Team in State House on 7th Mar 2018..

The President Buhari was joined by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of Sports Solomon Dalung, FIFA representative France Christian Karembeu, President Coca-Cola West Africa Mr Peter Njonjo and Chairman House Committee on Sports Hon. Godfrey Gaiya and others.

The president also received the CHAN Super Eagles Team and Bobsleigh Winter Olympic Team in State House.

A man had to be taken to a hospital after overdosing on Tramadol on Sunday in Lagos. The “science student” went berserk after taking excess of the opioid pain medication in a fruitless attempt to get high. He had to be restricted by being tied up by people around as he behaved strangely in public.

Water was poured on him and food (garri) given to him as those who tied him up did all they could to bring him back from the “excited state”.

According to an online user, the young man was later taken to the general hospital in Lagos where he was treated.

The United States Consul General, F. John Bray, and his entourage paid a visit to The White Man graveyard located in Akassa, during a tour to tourism sites in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa state. The US Consul General and his team inspected the graveyard as they expressed satisfaction.

The white man graveyard is a memorial park for the colonial masters that passed away in the century.

Channels TV Crew, Vanguard, Guardian Newspaper Correspondents, Social Media Gurus Visited Ovre' Abraka to carry out what they called "fact findings" on the Fulani herdsmen killings in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.

Speaking with newsmen, one of the victim who was recently discharged from Oghara Teaching Hospital, Mrs. Akpomiemie narrated her ordeal on how Fulani herdsmen attacked herself and her late husband, Late Mr Happy Akpomiemie in their farmland.

According to her, "I followed my husband to our cassava farmland to get money to pay for the treatment of our two sons that were involved in motorcycle accident and also to pay for the enrollment fees(WAEC) of our sons, not knowing that Fulani herdsmen will turn me into widow with little children to take care of and right now I hardly work or do anything as a result of the injury I have sustained."

Other farmers and traders, who spoke urged the Federal Government to employ more efforts to put an everlasting end to this herdsmen problem in order for them to carry out their farming activities without fear.

A lady was publicly humiliated after she was apprehended for stealing at a wedding ceremony in Delta state. According to reports, the woman was caught on Sunday with money, phone and other valuables she allegedly stole from the wedding event the previous day in Jesse town, Sapele area of Delta state.

When she was apprehended, she reportedly claimed she's related to the bride and the groom but it was all a lie, according to reports.

She was beaten by crowd under the rain and disgraced in public as seen in the pictures.

Earlier today, president Muhammadu Buhari paid a visit to Taraba, one of the states that witnessed violence recently for the purpose of on-the-spot assessment of the situation. The president and his entourage were warmly received as they landed at the airport.

The president's official car was pictured being airlifted in a NAF C130 plane some hours ago as he continues his visit to Benue, Yobe, Zamfara and Rivers states.

A river is currently on fire following an explosion which is said to have been caused by an oil pipeline or crude products in Okpare community of Delta state. According to an online report, the fire outbreak started since yesterday and is yet to put out by the officials of the fire and emergency services.

Facebook user, Ibebe Rufus Akpobome who shared pictures of the inferno, is calling on the appropriate authorities to do the needful.

Below is what he wrote;

As we speak... Okpare in Olumu Kingdom is on fire... Smoke everywhere as a pipeline or illegally refined crude products has been set on fire. This fire has been on since yesterday constituting environmental pollution to Okpare-Olomu and it's environs.

I wish to humbly call on the government and all relevant authorities to come to the aid of the people.

What a shocker.. An Ekiti-based prophet was caught bathing a man inside native basket at junction. The Prophet identified as Michael Afolabi of C. C. G, Gestimany Parish, Abe-koko Area, Falegan in Ado-Ekiti, was reportedly caught while bathing for a member of his church around 11PM inside a native basket at a footpath junction at Abe-koko Area.

Current details of the prophet's whereabouts are yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

The United Nations Organisation on Friday began the evacuation of aid workers from Rann community in the Kala-Balge Local Government Area of Borno State, following a heavy Boko Haram terrorists’ attack which left three UN workers dead.

According to reports, the Boko Haram insurgents attacked the Rann Internally Displaced Persons camp late on Thursday, during which the UN workers were killed.

Two of the deceased workers were with UN agency; International Organisation for Migration, while the third victim was a doctor, working with the UN Children’s Fund. A female UN nurse was also reported to have been abducted by the insurgents.

Report has it that apart from the officials, a yet-to-be-ascertained number of civilians in the camp were also killed while many others were injured during the gun battle. The Boko Haram terrorists reportedly abducted three aid workers and civilians apart from the UN nurse.

Two of the abducted workers are reportedly working with the International Committee of the Red Cross – another major international relief agency in the North-East.

Tragedy struck yesterday as a woman was caught after gruesomely killing her neighbor's children. According to reports, the woman who was aided by some men, kidnapped her neighbor's four children. She allegedly lured them into an inn called "Auberge Ordinaire", where the children were strangled in a border village in Southern region of Cameroon called Kye-Ossi.

The children's corpses were deposited in a car as their killers waited for the customers that demanded them. These customers are said to be from Gabon.

When the mother of these children, who went to take a nap after they came back from school, started looking for her children, this woman that kidnapped them was involved in searching for them.

When their corpses were discovered in the car, one of them was still breathing. But the other three had died. As the residents heard of the evil and on seeing the corpses, they went on rampage and burned down the hotel.

They beat hell out of the woman before the the arrival of the police, who prevented them from killing her and her own three children. Under serious torture, the woman begged not to be killed, that she will name all the people involved in the business.

A lot of arrests was made yesterday, including the woman' husband.
