julaion:When humans reach a point where logic and intelligence fail them, they resort to abuse. That’s why Obi supporters are known for being abusive. A thinking man would realize I can not justify my actions or my choices logically but not the Obidient. Like Soludo said, they are a mob, a mob has no head, the head is where the brain is…..Obidients have no brains! Btw Peter Obi is also alleged to be involved in drugs. Allegation is not proof, conviction is proof. Even with your allegations, true or not, we still say he has more capacity and competence than Obi. I have said this many times, I would be ashes if I were you that you will come third against a man with so much K-leg. It is an indictment of your candidate. so if you have nothing else I suggest you start to work on your manifesto because abuse will not win you this election. |
julaion:The real stupid people are the people who do t realize they are stupid. Tinubu and Atiku supporters know exactly who they are dealing with and they don’t pretend otherwise, that’s why all your abuse has no effect. You morons on the other hand claim you want a new type of politician and you bring Obi, Datti and Okupe. Ex APGA ex PDP, ex Apc, same Okupe with pending EFCC charges……The same Obi (economic adviser) and Okupe (SA and SSA) that were part of Jonathan’s time during the most profligate looting of resources in our history? The same old wine in new bottle and you are calling people stupid? We don’t pretend our guys are saints, we just say they are more competent, have more capacity than yours….simple. The fact that you are even struggling to adhere to the schedule of your campaign or provide your manifesto shows a lack of capacity and competence. |
lhordspy:Meanwhile after postponing and postponing, some people cannot hold a rally in 1 state without combining their supporters from other states.
|
onuman:The man who keeps changing is precisely the man that cannot be trusted! It means he has no principles or loyalties he stands for nothing but for himself. |
Abdul05:What is his level in Nigerian politics? |
onuman:Which party are Obi, Datti and Okupe from? Just asking for a friend! |
Confused people! Which one is Ondo, Ekiti and kogi rally in Osun? Them no get crowd i those states to hold rallies there?
|
Bestmanfornow:But it didn’t stop him from going to rally I. Ibadan or going to church to campaign? |
Bestmanfornow:How many versions of ordinary campaign timetable? A man incapable of putting together a team to organize his campaign. A president that cannot even keep to his own campaign schedule is going to keep to his promises? Manifesto nko, where is it?
|
Bestmanfornow:A president that cannot even keep to his own campaign schedule is going to keep to his promises? Manifesto nko, where is it? |
Bestmanfornow:One thing for sure, the next president of a Nigeria will be a Muslim. The more you make your campaign about religion, the more you lose the votes of the religion that is in the majority and the region where religion matters. Go and campaign in the north….no! It is southern churches he will be using to campaign up and down. A strategy that is a waste of time because in the SW we don’t care about religion. Everybody in the SW has relatives , close friends from other religions. As you can see Tinubu is a Muslim, his children are Christian, Adeleke is a Muslim his brother (Davido’s father) is Christian. A SW man will make noise about religion but he will still vote for the person he feels is more competent, so preaching to the SW based on religion is a waste of time and effort. Ps: I am a Christian

Gucciblog:The problem with APGA is once you become the governor of the only state that APGA can win, you quickly outgrow APGA. |
…and they say they are different |
einsteine:Like I said, argue with yourself. Adamawa is middle belt irrespective of expediencies of political groupings and classifications. The map doesn’t lie. A belt in the middle is a belt in the middle particularly when the inhabitants do not belong to the groups outside the belt. You are just being pedantic even your argument is already tilting towards recognizing that the middle belt is a separate distinct group in Nigeria that includes Adamawa. |
einsteine:Like I said, argue with yourself. Adamawa is middle belt irrespective of expediencies of political groupings and classifications. The map doesn’t lie. A belt in the middle is a belt in the middle particularly when the inhabitants do not belong to the groups outside the belt. |
Emmaxy9:Oga I have said there is no problem. You have freedom of choice. You are free to continue with and demand your free university education provided by 3rd rate lecturers that have no business being lecturers, no standing or regard amongst their international peers in order to obtain degrees that will only get you jobs as Dangote truck drivers, sales girls, etc. It’s a free world, you can go the free govt university in Nigeria route and wait to compare your life in 10 years to those who went abroad or paid to attend the few good fee paying universities left in Nigeria. All I am saying is don’t complain if those who paid to get quality degrees are doing better than you. It’s your choice!!! The people paying millions and tens of millions to attent good universities are not fools….but if you think they are, fine!! We shall see who comes out with better opportunities and careers. Time will tell if you free education will enable you compete in the world. You have an entitlement mentality, there are very few countries today where university education is free. Most of the people who send their children abroad are not rich people, most do not earn in dollars. They are people who know the value of good education and know you can no longer get it in Nigerian govt universities and they are mortgaging the future of their children if they sent them to Nigerian govt universities. People are borrowing and struggling to send their children to good schools, many have even split their families to give a better life to their children. And you think they are doing it for nothing? You think those you will be able to compete and have the same opportunities as people who made those sacrifices? You are a fantasist!! |

HarlequinLekex:You thought we were a free country? All your looted historical artifacts are still on display at the British museum. We are still scrambling for dollar the Uk can print at will! |
einsteine:Argue with yourself all you like, if Jos which is a higher latitude than Jimeta then Adamawa is middle belt. Kwara and Niger are further north than Adamawa. The so called south east is not the most south eastern part of the country. It is bordered to the east by so called south south sates In fact they are landlocked on all sides. It we are to go by your logic it should probably be called south central and cross rivers called SE. what makes Edo a SS state but imo which is further east and further south a SE state? Like I said continue arguing with yourself. Those of us who know what middle belt meant before you were born have told you what middle belt is. Taraba and Adamawa (Gongola) have always been middle belt. Just as Ibo land has always been “east” even though it is not the most easterly part of the country. I am also sure you don’t know that Adamawa is not Hausa land. The only connection Adamawa has to the north is that it fell under the Fulani empire. The indigenous people of Adamawa and Taraba are not Hausa in the same way the majority of Borno people are Kanuri.
|
samonak:Oga there are towns that are divided into 2 states for political reasons. There are also Ibos in SS and yorubas in NC. Middle belt is middle belt irrespective of political classifications , just like the yoruba man in Kwara is yoruba and the Ibo man in delta is Ibo. |
Racoon:I said this before in a previous post and I am glad someone else has mentioned it. To me it just shows that the average Nigerian is fundamentally wicked and mean spirited. I have always said and will continue to say the problem with Nigeria are Nigerians themselves. |
BeardedMeat:Abeg this is not about being suppressed it speaks more to the soul and character. This man was a minister, Lawal was SSG. What suppression requires personal insults? |
StarGraphicX:Our lecturers and professors from 1960-1980s were some of the best in the world….people like Nobel prize winning Wole Soyinka to name just one. These were lecturers not just trained at the best universities in the world but excelled at the best universities in the world. From the late 1980s, early 1990s onwards the brightest stopped seeing our universities as a career path and went into the private sector or went abroad. It was the “b” or “c” grade students that became university lecturers…they are the ones who have now become professors…you can see the quality of our current crop of professors when you hear the current president of ASUU speak. The reason why the best stayed away and continue to stay away is financial. Unless you raise the finances of govt universities, even the “b” and “c” grades will not be attracted. I am not even sure Govt universities can attract a. “B” grade lecturer today. Eventually all govt universities will be able to attract are the absolute dregs of lecturers, if we aren’t already at that stage. Point is to reverse the slide, Govt universities need to start being an attractive place for good lecturers, to do so fees must be raised. |
Why are middle belt politicians so treacherous? Babachir, Bwala and now this fool!!! |
StarGraphicX:Those who are going to raise thee quality of the universities will not be attracted to the universities that cannot afford to attract the best lecturers. You attract the best lecturers by having the best infrastructure, teaching facilities, research funding and remuneration. All of these need funding. Since govt cannot provide funding, the next logical step is tuition. |
StarGraphicX:Oga let me tell you a big secret. 90% of the lecturers in Nigerian govt universities today are low quality and we’re not the brightest of their set. They teach because they couldn’t get the best jobs when they graduated and the best graduates of their generation did not go to universities to teach which created a a vacuum they were able to fill. Same thing with the civil service. In any event, times have changed. There was a time when all you had to do was gain admission to a foreign university and you had a govt scholarship waiting for you. I am telling you the reality of university education. You should be grateful they are trying to increase fees because it means they are trying to increase the quality of the education you are receiving!!!! If you like protest, you will pay the price for cheap education when you graduate!!!! |
Look around you very few countries are providing free university education. Your fellow Nigeria s are paying 20-30m a year to attend average universities abroad. You are protesting they increased fees to 180k? Tommorow you will complain you graduates cannot get a job and the jobs that are available are going to the people who paid 20-30m to get good degrees abroad. |
FreeStuffsNG:You get what you pay for, that is why there are so many unemployed unemployable graduates roaming the streets. That is why graduates are drivers, sales girls and bank tellers Any university charging less than 1m a year is only handicapping and wasting the time of 70-80% of its graduates . Most of them will end up unemployable. The 20-30% that will make it, will do so in spite of the system not because the university gave them a sound education. Education is not free, somebody has to pay for quality education, if the govt can’t afford it (which they can’t). Then somebody must fund it or you won’t get good education. The fact that they give you a certificate does not mean it is worth anything or has any value in the job market if your employers know the quality of the education from the university that awarded the degree is worthless . Nigerian govt education and universities were of good quality and free in the 60s-80s because there were not many universities or students. The govt could afford to provide free quality education. Today the population of universities and students has gone up astronomicallly and the funding has dwindled. In the 1970s the total population of all Nigerian universities was less than 100k, today it is more than 2million!!!! So when you hear that students collected bursaries and free meals, it’s because there weren’t many mouths to feed. By definition you are now getting less Naira invested per student. Every parent knows if your income is fixed, it is easier to send 1 child to the best school if you are only paying school fees once, but if you have 6 children some children (if not all) are going to suffer. Either some don’t go to school or they will all have to go to lesser quality schools…all will not be able to go to the best schools. It is no different for govt and citizens. It only stands to reason the quality of the education you are receiving in your free universities has fallen and will continue to fall unless the funding is addressed!!! If you don’t want to pay the fees commensurate with good quality education….no problem. Just remember your contemporaries, at great discomfort to their families, are finding a way to pay 200 times what you are asked to pay to get quality degrees abroad. When they return and take all the jobs and the only jobs available for you if you are lucky are Uber driver and sales girls….don’t complain!!! You refused to pay for good education and you get what you pay for!!! |
What is with Ghanaian women in the USA, one jumped out of a building on to the sidewalk some time ago |
abiolamitodun:It is called the days when women had decency and dignity |
traihit:Yoruba wives are generally assertive aka aggressive because traditionally Yoruba wives are traders, market women, entrepreneurs while their husbands were professionals/noblemen/ tradesemen e.g Teachers, lawyers, clerks, carpenters etc . Ibo husbands in the other hand tend to be the entrepreneurs while their wives are kept. In general, in the past ni o… before you kill me. Of recent things have changed. Usually yoruba men had professional jobs that had status while their wives engaged in business and business in Nigeria as we know makes you aggressive. It’s the nature of women that if you are bringing in as much if not more than your husband as a woman you will be more assertive. |

??answer me yes or no
If accommodation is increased from its current N90 to N180,it is 100% increase yet charging N180 for one year is outrightly ridiculous
