ogwumgbe:As for your comment about slave masters. you dont have to live in the Uk, slavery has ended. I have british citizenship, i was born in the Uk, I live in Nigeria and i would never go back to live there. And for what it is worth, I lived in the Uk for over 20 years, the Uk is the best place for a black to live in terms of racism, try continental Europe and you will know true racism, they dont even hide it. Someone is only your slave master if you are still a slave and clearly you still have the mentality of a slave!! Even in Nigeria your people always cry tribalism, it is your type that will always see racism and tribalism in everything but go back to your country or region ...no!!!. Like i said, I lived in the UK for over 20 years, I only experienced racism 2 or 3 times maximum. the difference between people like me and people like you is that i know a passport does not make me British and i dont pretend to be or have any desire to conquer people and tell them how to behave in their own land. If you are looking for racism you will see it because it is in your head. I have always seen myself as Nigerian even though I have citizenship. it is the fool that thinks because she has legal citizenship she is British. |
ogwumgbe:there is nothing wrong with asking where you come from. we do it all the time, when an oyinbo asks you it becomes racism. it's just attention seeking, who had heard of her before today? I dont pity the British, it's payback on so many levels but please this isnt racism, it's exploitative attention seeking!! |
obedience4:na british dey cause problem for themselves, now any small thing can be interpreted as racism and get people sacked. if they werent going about telling people how to leave their lives and acting all sanctimonious and virtuos, one child of a migrant who should be in her country would not be thinking she is British because she has a British passport and disrespecting her hosts. |
black people sef get too much wahala...answer simple question. |
Kingbenn:Kanu of YEAA started all this nonsense during the Abacha era. They devalued protests by paying people to protest, then they devalued “Dr” by buying degrees online, they devalued professor, they devalued SAN, they devalued chief, they devalued Oba, they devalued the legal profession by calling themselves “Barrister”, if they study Engineering they must put Engineer as title, they devalued national award, they’ve devalued everything in this country. Even some yeye pastors are now calling themselves Bishop!!! It is more prestigious now in Nigeria to simply be a “Mr”. |
traihit:The real tribes in Nigeria are the smart and the dumb. The problem with the poor is they tend to be dumb. PS: smart and dumb has nothing to do with education. Most people who got an education in Nigeria in the last 30 years tend to be dumb. |
KingSatan:But in Nigeria you will celebrate someone mocking the size of the presidents wife |
When Abacha’s child is schooling you about good upbringing you know you have really really messed up!! I restate my position that the student was rightfully arrested!!! There is a difference between mockery and defamation. It is about time someone is made an example of. The fact that you can post on social media does not give you a right to make defamatory comments!! |
Olamilekan1555:1st day In office and the HOA told him the pronouncements he made are illegal and he cannot reverse thing without the backing of the house of assembly. All but 3 members of the HOA are APC. https://www.legit.ng/politics/1506631-osun-assembly-rejects-governor-adelekes-decision-rename-state/ What really worries me about you Obidenses is that you are clearly very ignorant people. The good thing is you can’t possibly win. But it is worrisome just how powerful and potentially damaging an ignorant mob can be. At least I have a head, you do t seem to have one. Like Reno said a mob has no head and by extension no brains!!!
|
I can’t wait for February so we can stop hearing from this clown!!! Nnamdi Kanu was more entertaining!!! Somebody without members in the senate or house wants to transform Nigeria? He should go and ask Adeleke how his 1st day in office went. |
PDPdestroyer:Nope! Go and ask your parents |
Pastor will be shouting tithes but they won’t give to Caesar what is Caesar’s!!! |
Go and ask how Awo displayed his image on the moon in 1979 |
Gentleswift:First of all it is “where did he say” not “where did he said”. Secondly read his post. |
CheapHomes1:when they arrest you, you can ask these questions |
CheapHomes1:oga no problem, he will have an opportunity to prove his allegations in court....maybe you too! You people just think you can talk anyhow on the internet, you dont know you can be traced for every post you make on the internet? This one messed with the wrong person. there is a difference between abuse and slander. I can call you ugly, I can call you dumb, i can call you fat, i can call you idiot. When you start venturing into things like calling people thieves, rapists, paedophiles etc you are opening yourself up to arrest (even in the west) because people do it and get away with it, you wont know if one day the person you are slandering has been receiving endless attacks and decides they want to make a scapegoat of you. I am fully in support of this arrest, it is about time examples are made of people who think they can just abuse people with reckless abandon on the internet. It is long overdue!!! |
tete7000:they will arrest you too and you wll lose the case in any court in the world. mind your language on the internet. Abuse and slander are 2 different things. calling someone fat is ok, calling someone a thief is slander and you can be arrested. |
God1000:actually the 1st lady is in the right. The guy accussed her of stealing....that is slander!!! You people think you can just post anything on the internet. Did she go overboard, yes but this is Nigeria, when dealing with animals you cant behave like a civilised human being. You dont go around defaming people on the internet. its one thing to abuse people but you dont go calling people theives. Let him go and prove she stole. Nigerians especially the youth and the IPOB generation should learn civilised behaviour on the internet. Even Britain will arrest you for making racist slurs on the internet. |
cunny man die, cunny man bury am. ive never had time since this man, a serving senator that stood surety for someone your government has declared a terrorist. He is an IPOB sympathiser and I have no regard for him. |
If Tinubu lowers himself to the level of debating with Obi, I will withdraw my vote. |
iwaeda:you no dey tire? |
In all seriousness, it is beneath Tinubu to be debating Obi. Obi should join debating society with the likes of Sowore and co if he wants to hear the sound of his own voice without saying anything or offering any solutions. |
I am no fan of Reno but Rufai is a slowpoke, a fool !!! The one thing Reno has is intelligence wheras Rufai tries to fake intelligence and always ends up making a fool of himself biting more than he can chew or taking on people more intelligent than him because he is used to addressing a dumb audience.. |
iwaeda:they do not count because politicians had no choice but to join one of 2 parties so you found people in parties they would ordinarily not belong to. Please not bother to disturb me again. |
iwaeda:I don’t need your fake story if you talk like someone who was not around. SDP and NRC do not count because they were artificial parties created by Babangida. But even so you will notice a trend. You are not talking like someone with any brain cells. Core UPN are not in APC, where them are they? Do you expect the true Awo disciples to still be in politics? Bisi Akande, Osoba which party are they in. The others are retired if not tha Adebanjo refuses to let go of his grudges and see out his old age In Peace |
iwaeda:If you don’t know and people who know are educating you…keep quiet!!! People defect, politicians have always defected. Even Akintola Fani Kayode and many who joined forces with Balewa were initially in AG, Akintola was Awo’s deputy. Adisa Akinloye who became chairman of NPN was initially an ally and member of AG in fact he was the one who led other members of the Ibadan peoples party to switch alliance to Awo and cross the aisle to make Awo premier over Zik. Richard Akinjide of the famous 12.2/3rds that made Shagari president and later served as attorney general under Shagari was initially in AG. They all left to form NNDP and formed alliance with Balewa. Defections did not start in 1999 but the essence of the parties remains the same. There have always been unstable politicians jumping from party to party from the 1st republic to today. There are also politicians that have never left their parties. In fact there are some old school politicians who have consistently been in AG,UPN, AD, ACN, APC and never left, just like there are those who have been in NPC,NPN,PDP or NCNC, NPP,APGA and never defected. The fact that you have people jumping from Party to party does not negate the history of those parties, people have always defected. Most of the time you will find that defectors were coalition / junior/fringe partners..not always but often and so by nature are unstable. |
iwaeda:Like I said the problem with many of you is that you lack proper education particularly history. You think politics started in 1999? Most political parties today are rehashes of previous parties. With the same followership and the same driving forces. APGA is NPP which evolved from Zik’s NCNC AD is UPN, which is a rebranded Action Group PDP is the same old NPN which is the old NPC plus old Akinola faction and certain SE/SS (NCNC/NPP) alliance. ANPP is GNPP of Waziri Ibrahim etc PRP like Kola Abiola will tell you is the same PRP of Aminu Kano All of them have their roots in the 1950s political parties. APC is basically an amalgamation of Action group and the traditionally non-establishment Northern elements be it PRP, GNPP etc. somebody like El Rufai would likely have been in PRP. Remmember the northern establishment are fundamentally against Buhari, his popularity like Aminu Kano back in the day is derived from grass roots support. The Northern establishment are typically, NPC, NPN, PDP!!! The major difference between the political parties of today and previous political parties is 1) Buhari acheived a formidable grassroots support in the North to buck the Northern establishment in a way the likes of Aminu Kano waziri ibrahim could not. 2) the alliance between the SW and the northern non establishment is a formidable one in a way not witnessed previously. Otherwise it’s the same actors, same principles at play…nothing has changed, even the SE are still largely playing the same regional politics (APGA) or playing second fiddle with the northern establishment politics (NCNC/NPN) they’ve always played! They are only losing out because their traditional partner the Northern establishment, is not the predominant force in Northern politics it used to be and they (the SE) are still playing politics according to the old template. |
iwaeda:Actually it shows you dont know your political history. The problem with social media is that ignorant people are allowed to post. Kaduna has always been a liberal state. In 1979 it was won by Aminu Kano’s PRP not NPN, in 1983 it went to NPN. So when we talk of safe states, kaduna is not historically a safe state for any party, it depends on the current dynamics. Under the present dispensation it has fallen under both PDP and APC. No states are more safe in Nigeria since 1954 than Rivers and Borno. Any opposition there is wasting their time. |
Superwave16320:Awon Obidense, Obidiotic, Obididinrin, Obiomugo!! |
alingo2013:Many of you just post without any knowledge backing up your posts. In the history of Nigerian politics, there are some states or regions that are strongholds and have never swayed. Rivers is one of them, Borno is another. Rivers has always been an NPN state, the equivalent today is PDP. Borno has always voted GNPP, even in the days of Shagari they never voted with the northern establishment. With the return of politics, they coalesced behind ANPP, they dont vote NPN or PDP in Borno!!! ANPP is now part of APC, Borno is a safe APC state. They always get 90%, even at the height of PDP rigging they never scored 10% in Borno. You forget Borno is Kanuri not Hausa/Fulani. They had their own separate empire called the Borno empire. If there is any safe state in the north for Tinubu it is Borno!!! All their ex governors, sheriff, Shettima and current are all APC. Anyone telling you otherwise is trying to dupe you. |
Actually, what the guy did is defamation. |
Mickykarim:Person wey no go school, how will he know? |
