tete7000:Again you attack but you fail to sell your candidate and that is why you will lose!!!! You still don’t get it do you? Why is it so hard to sell your candidate? Could it be there is nothing g to sell beyond sentiment and a desire to kick out the APC? Look at you!! You blame everybody but you fail to see your error and when we tell you you continue the abuse? Tinubu has no business being the front runner in this race. So why is he? Because the opposition is not credible, not sellable and unelectable. So bad there are people like me who are not voting Tinubu not to support Tinubu but to prevent an Obi presidency. I have said it many times. If obi wasn’t in the race, I would sit in my house. If Atiku wins, there will be looting but some things will get done. Obi is a disaster waiting to happen!!!’ Your problem is not Tinubu!!!’ I say it again, you are wasting your energies pointing out his negatives….we know!! |
Tinubu get problem we know. Shame on you the opposition if with all his documented k-leg, he still ends up President..which he will!!! It’s one thing to attack as candidate, it’s another to provide a credible alternative. I will repeat what I have said elsewhere, the problem is not Tinubu, the problem is the opposition. Tinubu should not even be a contender with all his issues but yet he is the front runner!!!! Shame on you the opposition!!! You can’t run a presidential campaign on attack attack attack!!!! We have heard….now what do you have to offer!!! |
900warriorz:Obi is a disaster, what did he do in Anambra when he was younger? I am only voting in this election because of Obi…to keep the disaster that will be an Obi presidency from occurring. If Obi wasn’t contesting I wouldn’t vote!! |
Racoon:The problem with all these attacks on Tinubu justified or not and the problem with all the people attacking him is that they provide no alternative for many. You keep telling us the problem but fail to provide a credible solution. I often sit in amazement and wonder “don’t you think we know all these!” The real problem isn’t Tinubu, the real problem is Atiku and Obi!! Ok so Tinubub is not fit for office…who then? Atiku? Seriously? How is he any different? Have we forgotten Williams Jefferson? Or you think it won’t resurface if he becomes President? Is it Obi? A man who has a mediocre track record in government, who exhibits a trader, unstrategic, mediocre mindset? So because Tinubu is questionable, we should select either a sysmbol of wanton brazen corruption or an incompetent buffoon? I have said this many times and I will say it again, the fact that there is so much emphasis on attacking Tinubu as opposed to selling the individual merits and specifically the plans the opposition is an indictment of the alternatives. We are not stupid, at least not all of us. Attack attack attack we hear but what does your guy have to offer? If you spent more energy on the merits of the alternatives, you might start to chip away at the Tinubu support. But we know there isn’t much merit to market, hence the attacks!!! I will say it for the umpteenth time, there is nothing about Tinubu we don’t know, (you can say we know what we don’t know e.g his background). We know he has skeletons!!’ But the fact that he is still the front runner should tell the opposition that the problem here isn’t Tinubu, the problem is the candidates the opposition have put forward are so poor, so unsellable, that despite all, a man like Tinubu with so many questions is still the front runner!!! Focus on yourselves!! You are the real problem not Tinubu!!! You have failed to produce credible alternatives!!!! You can’t run a campaign on attacking the opposition without providing a credible alternative!!!!! For all Tinubu’s flaws, he has shown a couple of things 1) a capacity for strategic thinking, 2) visionary/out of the box thinking even if it is only one eyed man in the country of the blind type vision. 3) a capacity to get capable people for specific assignments. Finally for all these talks of how Nigeria is perceived, 1)what makes you think we are perceived with any respect now as it is? 2) who cares? 3) we need someone who can solve Nigerians problems not someone the west is happy with, we don’t care what the west thinks and quite frankly if you are worried what the west thinks…there just something wrong with you and you need to get your priorities right!!!’ In conclusion, I know all Tinubu’s flaws but I will vote for him 1) because there is no credible alternative 2) if anything, some of the alternatives are so bad (Obi) that whereas I may have stayed at home, i will vote Tinubu just to do my bit to keep him out. I hope you understand the importance of this second point..I will spell it out again…i am voting Tinubu to keep out Obi as opposed to voting for Tinubu. I say this again, let this stick in your brains…Tinubu is so dodgy and he is still the front runner…..let that digest in your heads!!! You are doing something wrong and what you are doing wrong is providing alternatives that are unmarketable. If you cannot sell water in the desert, the problem is you!!! You can attack the heat all you like, you can curse the land and the people all you like, bu the failure to sell water in the desert is a reflection on you not the desert or the people of the desert!!!! |
It makes absolutely no sense for him to attend. Arise has shown it is a very biased and hostile station. He has nothing to gain. |
Tareq1105:He is 76 but it’s funny how all the age attention is on Tinubu who is 70. It’s also funny that there is so much attention on Muslim Muslim ticket but little about north handing over to North. |
Maryamgumm:How old? |
Isobug:You can’t recognize a true Christian because you have been brainwashed by private jet pastors to disengage your brains and depend on them for your salvation which they make sure never comes because they need you to be downtrodden and dependent on them for your tithes to maintain their lifestyles. When I was growing up we were told how they kept the masses down in the North with religion. Our people in the south can’t see that the exact same thing is happening to them. It’s even worse because we are supposed to be better educated. |
900warriorz:Who is the youth….is it 61 yr old Peter Obi? |
tunwumi:My fellow Christians are just embarrassing us up and down. |
tunwumi:Christians are just embarrassing themselves up and down. |
OddsDoc:Who has $28m in APGA or PDP to give out? APC wants Obi In the race in SE so they won’t attack him in SE. so who is the person or party giving money, is it PDP that are hungry? |
ALTERNATEID:And clearly a snake. Look at the way he made serial turns within days during the Primaries. |
Emir01:Like I said you just want to argue. When I say all candidates pull crowds, I mean the front runners and I have also stated that a candidate that cannot pull a meaningful crowd is clearly not strong in that state because usually even in a state where you are not strong you will harvest crowds from the entire state and usually neighboring states. If you can’t do that then you are clearly going nowhere in that state. It doesn’t take much for any serious candidate to harvest supporters from all the wards in a state and mobilize them for a rally. If you can’t do that, you are not in the race!!!! Nobody can pull a rally of more than 20,000 and such a rally if at all will be in states like Kano, Lagos, Rivers and some northern states with huge populations . Most of these rallies you are seeing are 2, 3, 5,10k max. If you cannot pull 2000 (which will look bigger than it really is) in a small state of circa 500k voters like Kwara or Ekiti, or less than 1% of the voting population that turn up on d day, you are not in the race. That should tell you how meaningless rallies are except your crowds are overwhelming!!!! It doesn’t take much to pull a crowd!! Like I said the participants at these rallies are less than 1% of the respective populations…usually much less, so ultimately most voters are at home. Most rallies are therefore meaningless except for the purpose of identifying the guy who can’t even produce a crowd. Where there no crowds at PDP rallies in Kwara in 2019, did they not lose? Where there no crowds at APC rallies in Benue and Adamawa, did they not lose? We’re there no crowds at PDP rallies in Ekiti and , did they not lose? Did APC not produce crowds at the recent Osun guber election rallies ……did they not lose? Having crowds at rallies means nothing, not having crowds does….because it doesn’t take much to pull a crowd if you truly have some degree of support and the numbers you see at these rallies are not that much, especially when they are street rallies. Having support does not mean you are going to win. Look at it this way, an average Joe having a wedding can pull a crowd of 200-1000, so it is not a big deal for a political party to gather a crowd of 5,10,15k and if you can’t get 5k you don’t exist. So the only time a rally is significant is if your crowd is overwhelming and your opponent’s is not. If you want to see what 100k people look like, google pictures of the bernabeau stadium, don’t forget these are cramped people, unlike street rallies where there are less bodies per square meter ie people are more spaced out so the crowd looks bigger than it really is and then you will know alll these rallies are less than 10k. You will hold rallies in Abeokuta and Ibadan the stadium will be full but what is the seating capacity of these stadiums? 10,000 each, even at full capacity you add another 2-5k for those in the field. 12-15k. How many people voted in the last elections in these states that even the person that will lose cannot find 10k supporters to fill a stadium? I have shown 2 pictures of the 100k bernabeau stadium and I have highlighted a section that looks like the biggest Nigerian rallies but if you look at the second picture you will see it is less than 10% I.e less than 10,000 people. So you see what 10k people looks like cramped in a stadium… double or triple that space for street rallies/ walks!! The biggest of all these “million Man” rallies no reach 10,000! Now that you see what 10,000 really looks like, you can see that most rallies have no more than 5,000. You can now see it doesn’t take much to have a rally and if you can’t amass enough people to hold a rally you are not in the race. Have you noticed rallies are usually held at Onikan stadium? Why? Ask yourself what is the capacity? Then ask yourself what is the capacity of national stadium? Let me help you. Onikan is 10k, national stadium is 55k. Now you know why they dont hold rallies at national stadium!! It will make anyone holding a rally there look bad!!!!

Emir01:It seems you just want to argue. Most candidates can pull crowds, most states will be close so crowds means nothing except when you can’t pull a crowd! I can bet you have never looked at the results of past elections by states. If you do you will realize pulling a crowd means nothing. It is only when you can’t pull a crowd that there is meaning. Rallies are one of those things you have to do but ultimately it is usually meaningless unless you can’t pull a crowd. If your crowd is overwhelmingly massive (like the Buhari crowds in certain northern states), then usually you have no competition and it will reflect in the crowd of your opponent or whether he even bothers to stage a rally. If you and your opponents are pulling crowds then it is meaningless but a necessary fulfillment of all righteousness….that says nothing!!! In a 2 horse race, Even the guy who gets 40% and loses will pull a big crowd…. Crowds are even more meaningless and the absence of crowds more meaningful in a 3 horse race. |
Emir01:Pls read the extension to my post. Another thing to add is that not all rallies are equal for instance Ibadan or Jos rally is not always an Ibadan or Jos rally but an Oyo and plateau state rallies depending on your popularity. So whereas someone who is genuinely popular may attract a huge rally just from the residents of that particular town/city, another candidate may need to mobilize supporters from all corners of the state and neighboring g states. For instance Buhari can hold a massive rally just from the residents of katsina, similarly Kwakwanso Kano city. But if Kwakwanso is holding a rally in Ibadan or Buhari in onitsha, you can be sure the crowd is not just from all nooks and corners of the state but also from neighboring states. |
Emir01:Hence I said yes and no. Yes because if you cannot pull a crowd you have no chance, no because even if you can pull a crowd, it doesn’t say much against the opponent who can also pull a crowd because most voters don’t attend rallies. For example, In the days of the 2 horse race, most states were won/lost by 60/40 margin max, many by 55/45 margin, some even by less. A good example is Kwara and most muddlebelt states, the margin of victory is always 5-10%, which means both parties are strong, So pulling a huge crowd in those states means nothing. There are Ibos everywhere, so Obi getting g a reasonable crowd in Ibadana means nothing, if you watch the Obi videos in Ibadan for instance, you will notice by the voices of members of the crowd that most of the crowd were Ibos. The only thing you can draw from a rally is that if you cannot pull a crowd forget it. |
Emir01:Yes and no! Yes because it shows you have followers and no because the majority of voters do not attend rallies and no one really knows how many people at rallies are paid (money, free food and drinks, free souvenirs etc) as opposed to organic. |
Is this man a real Bishop? Nobody says Obi should not hold rallies, it is His right as a Nigerian and he is welcome to but be careful in Ibadan o. Ibadan has always been a volatile place when it comes to politics from time immemorial!!! |
Naira20:I have told you I know this man more than you. |
iHateFraudsters:History has shown us to be gallant losers, history has shown you burn down the house and scatter everything for everybody. When you lose! |
Naira20:So because I know someone, I shouldn’t tell the truth? He is a very principled man but he is just tagging along for relevance. The man and his peers have been made irrelevant for too long so he is enjoying the 5 minutes of fame. Also remmember, his brand of politics never won any elections outside yoruba land. The Awolowo politicians are good men but they don’t know how to play politics beyond and so they never got to the center. |
Naira20:I know him personally. I can even tell you the registration number of the green Mercedes’ Awolowo gave him in the 1970s. LA 2191D |
iHateFraudsters:People you will still abuse when you lose come February. |
Naira20:Baba using Obi for relevance. When was the last time anybody invited him to anything? |
A whole $1b to run federal state sand local governments for a month!!! |
LordviccoDaGuru:
|
Does this guy ever arrive on time? |
phorget:Like I said simple minds believe anything. |
Offpointng:We would never have seen the likes of Nzeogwu and Ironsi that changed the path of this country irreparably !!! |
oluwaseyi0:It took 70 years to get to 37B, perhaps the local man is not too bright? |
phorget:It shows how shallow and simple minded you and all those who like your posts are. It is easy to talk about giving power you don’t have to give, to gain the admiration of simpletons but that’s is not sincerity. It costs him Nothing APC Northern governors had power and made a decision to hand power to the south….that is sincerity!!!! All this one Adebanjo is saying is merely playing to the gallery!!! The sincere man is the man who sacrifices for what he believe in. Adebanjo loses nothing by saying power should go to the east, the power was never with him to begin with. |
