Greenback:
Baba, just one question...when they decided to leave in the 60s,why did your fathers declare war to bring them back?
the delusion you live under is that you are wanted or desired. it couldn't be further from the truth. let me explain to you why the powers that be fought the civil war and refuse to let you go.

why they fought then:

1: At the time of the war, the majority of oil producing areas were under the eastern region. not ibo land but under the eastern region...big difference.
2: that was the reason 12 states was created to remove the oil regions from under Ojukwu's control. He had to secede before the newly appointed Governors of east central and Rivers state took office.
3: it was the loss of control over the oil producing regions that forced Ojukwu to secede and it was to retain the Oil that forced Gowon to fight.
4: if it were just the Ibos, they would have let you go. they didnt fight a war to keep you in Nigeria, they fought a war to keep the Oil in Nigeria
5: Note the Oil is not ibo Oil, it is SS Oil but at that time was under ibo control.

why dont they let you go today?

the reason they (specifically the fulanis) wont let you go today is because you killed their leader Sardauna and ever since, they have not had a unifying leader. Their fear (the fulanis) is that if a section of the country breaks way, minority groups in the North of which there are many will also break away from the North and thus they will lose the empire of their ancestor Usman Dan Fodio. Secondly, it will also deny them acces to the sea. Considering you have no Oil and you have no sea, common sense will tell you, that you have no real value to them. To prove the point. Contrast how they deal with Niger Delta millitants and how they deal with IPOB. One has value, one doesnt.

So you see it is not because you are desired, it is not because they care if you leave, it is the possible effect on the North that they continue to tolerate you.

dont get it twisted. 1967 was because of Oil and today it is to maintain Northern "unity". It's like having to drive through Ore to get to benin, its not because you love Ore, its because Ore is a path to your destination

CreativeOrbit:
Your entire argument collapses under basic scrutiny. Let’s break it down with facts — not blind loyalty to a broken leadership structure:

1. Natasha was suspended without fair hearing — and that’s the crux of the court’s ruling. The court affirmed that her constitutional rights were violated because the Senate leadership acted like a political mafia, not a lawful institution.

2. Yes, the Senate can make its own rules — but no, it cannot violate the Constitution while doing so. Internal rules don’t override the rule of law. You can’t beat someone in a rigged process and then claim “legality.”

3. Nowhere in Justice Binta Nyako’s judgment was Natasha “found guilty.” That’s a flat-out lie. The court did not conduct a trial on guilt or innocence — it assessed procedure, and it ruled that due process was absent and the punishment was excessive.

4. A “recommendation” by the court to recall her is not trivial advice — it’s a judicial directive grounded in constitutional concern, highlighting the abuse of power and calling for restoration of her mandate in the interest of democratic representation.

5. If the court believed her suspension was legal and justified, it wouldn’t have criticized the manner, disproportionality, or consequence. So stop cherry-picking one part of the ruling while ignoring its condemnation of the Senate’s conduct.

6. As for your final point: why should a victim of injustice apologize to the very system that trampled on her rights? That’s the logic of tyrants, not democrats. If anything, it’s the Senate leadership that owes her and her constituents an apology.

Let’s be clear: Natasha Akpoti is not fighting for herself — she’s fighting against selective injustice, weaponized Senate rules, and the silencing of dissent. And some of you hate that because you’re used to a Senate filled with docile yes-men and cowardly silence.

You may not like her courage — but history will remember it.
!: i stopped readin at no1 because clearly you have not read the court judgement therefore anything else you have to say is from a position of ignorance. Tthe court affirmed that her suspension was fair and that she breached senate rules. You clearly did not read the court ruling. I have nothing more to say to you consider yourself blocked. I dont have time for your sort!

today you will try to gaslight by saying you want Biafra, tomorow you will be seeking to become indigines of lands in Nigeria outside your ancestral homes. who doesnt know your real motives? why does Emeka who wants Biafra want to be an indigine of Ekiti or an indigine of Jos?

I have said this and maintain that the best way to deal with the Ibos is to give them the referrendum they shout about. They are the biggest beneficiaries of Nigeria, when the thought of leaving Nigeria hits them, you will see them lobbying to remain in Nigeria.

Nobody needs Nigeria more than the Ibos and Fulanis. every other race can survive without Nigeria.

And you're feeling fly and 'intelligent' because of what you just spilled?

And all that was said against your principal, Wike, and the rest, your name wasn't heard as the one leading a protest or anything to nail either.

People's Gazette published a report on an investigation on Wike's allocation of hectares land to his sons. Did Wike take them to court?
Did he take any concrete legal steps against them?
Did he do more than similar public denials laced with lies and cheap brainwashing that your type fall for?

What have you personally done to redeem his name as god?

Yusuf Datti is a refined gentleman politician, I don't know why Nigerians won't get it right this time around sending APC and it's corrupt politicians to abyss by voting the right choice of the two gentlemen.

PO/YD or Atiku

All I know is come 2027 is either Obi or Atiku will emerge as the president, fact 💯
There is nothing refined about him. Every now and again he betrays his extremist underbelly. Just last night he made a statement about Musawa unbecoming of a refined gentleman and it’s not his first time. NIgerians have a tendency to confuse education with refinement. Datti is an extremist , he is the kind of person that can be a Bin Laden tomorrow. Bin Laden too was just as educated and even more privileged and elite that Datti. Bin Laden was a well educated civil engineers from the Saudi Royal lineage. bin Laden was an aristocrat, it didn’t stop him being the worlds most infamous terrorist.

1: she was suspended for breaching senate rules
2: the court found that senate has a right to determine its rules
3:The court found her guilty of breaching senate rules
4: the court advised that the suspension was excessive and advised that she be recalled in the interest of her constituents

The point was a she was found guilty of the offense so the senate has a right to suspend her. The court advisors but did not order her reinstatement.

If she really cares about her constituents, having been found guilty she should apologize to the senate…simple!

People seem to conveniently ignore that the court found her guilty of breaching senate rules and affirmed that her suspension is legal!

Trying to be intelligent by half! Amechi is in opposition that is trying to dislodge the ruling party, why can't they APC make the memo public? Wike is a senior minister in this government, let him make the memo public.
Amechi going to court is a waste of time and resources because the Nigerian court of today is in the pocket of APC. The same court that Wike is building houses and lodges...
Like I have said many of you are actually poorly educated. A government report that has not been released can only be released that the those who are authorized to release it. Leaking government documents is an offense. Even the results of the June 12 elections were not released until recently despite the fact that we all knew the content. Wike has no power to release the report. Pit pressure on the president to release the report. Wike has said he is so confident in what he is saying that he will resign if what he said is wrong! Don’t you want him to resign? Are you not tired of him? So put pressure on the president to release the report. He is the only one who can authorize its release. Or are you afraid he is right?

And what's stopping Wike from taking them to court or using the EFCC since he's so sure of his claims?
The internet has shown the world that “educated” does not equate to intelligence.

Wike has done his bit. He has made an allegation and as a sitting cabinet member he has publicly urged the president to release the report. He can’t do more than that.

Where are your civil society groups? Where are your good governance groups? They are all quiet. Where is Aisha Yesufu? Why is an arise Tv quiet? Is this not what they exist to expose? Why are they quiet? Is it because certain members of the coalition may be implicated?,

Wike cannot do more than to tell you this is what is in the report. He has even said if it a lie he will resign! Why is nobody protesting that the president releases the report? Your job as a concerned citizen and the job of the press, CSOs and activists is to demand the president releases the report! Not to create content and skits at senate entrance.

We are not serious people.

The point of education is not to write what you crammed in an exam. What distinguishes a truly educated man from an illiterate is to know that I may know the content but I cannot release the contents of a report I did not commission. Only the office that commissioned a report has the power to release the report otherwise it is an offense.

Wike has no power to release the report. That is why he asked Tinubu to please release the report.

Even Davido, Wizkid, Flavour, etc, should also queue up to inform state governors before coming to states for shows na.

It won't kill you people to accept or admit that your dull governor misyarned... Nor be every goof done by APC leaders una go dey defend like Z0mbee na.

SMH... Wike, Obi notified you out of personal courtesy and interest, not out of constitutional compulsion.
dont be stoooo peeed. Wike is absolutely right.

A state is a sub-national, there are protocols for these things. obi is a high profile political personality, an ex-governor and a presidential aspirant....if anything happens to him people like you will blame the governor.

there is nothing wrong with a governor saying notify me if you are coming to my state.

Nobody said dont come!

same way a governor can tell a traditional ruler request permission before leaving his kingdom. That some traditional rulers move around as they please does not mean they arent supposed to inform the governor.

Infact the late Awujale was dethroned because he refused to honour the then governor's request to seek permission before leaving ijebu to travel abroad. What saved him was the coup of dec 31 1983 that overthrew the governor.

this is the problem.

1) a law has been passed to allow traditional rulers to be buried according to their beliefs..that in itself is where the assault on our culture was committed.
2) traditional rulers are governed by state law

personally,
1) traditional rulers in Nigeria are a pointless institution. What traditions are they upholding, they communicate in English and have abandoned the traditional religions. they have no legal powers over their "domains" and are employees of the state. What exactly is the point of them if they cannot up[hold the tradions they are there to uphold?
2) you know what you are getting into when you become a king, if you are not ready for the consequences dont go there.

its not by force to be a King/Oba
