benuejosh:Is GEJ in APC? |
Encyclopedia1:So those guys up North that rise up at the slightest provocation shouting 'blasphemy' aren't true Muslims? Abdulmutalab who's cooling off in ADX Super Max and a whole lot of other terrorists whom American has sent to meet their 72 virgins weren't true Muslims? Shekau is definitely not a true Muslim according to you. |
For those who couldn't read through, here is the summary. The article says that despite the role played by Sen. Tinubu in bringing Gen. Buhari to power, that Buhari isn't willing to reciprocate the gesture to Tinubu. How do we know? Buhari's appointment of Sen. Abdullahi as the APC chairman spells doom for Sen. Tinubu. The article says that the kingmaker has resigned himself to fate. Indeed, to the distress of some political commentators Tinubu has reduced himself, running around in a way not fitting for a kingmaker of his status. The article also says that unlike those that came before Gen. Buhari, that the general controls the utmost power in APC. There are no alternative power centres within APC. The general will always have his way. |

HiideaConsole:The girl was a teen and clearly had no full understanding of how life was. Youthful ebullience and exuberance can trigger such. Even as at that, women are a bunch of problems. Make sure you beat your wife to coma if she slaps you (anger can make one mad) |
I think this is a case of some animals being more equal than the others. My only concern is why has African leaders chosen to make Africa a shit hole? China worked itself up the ladder in less than seventy years, why can't an African country do same? Are Africans destined to be puppets despite the enormous potentials the continent possess? |
He should be careful peradventure he visits places like Pakistan and Afghanistan because those places are deadly. Once you hear allahu, the next thing is kaboom and then counting of scores begin. ![]() |

Let the politicking begin. Amaechi and the prof should be the best candidates for this job. I wonder why the prof is yet to declare his interest. Is the prof the man Buhari has been hiding? Only time shall tell. The major parties should ensure that old men don't get the tickets. Wike should ensure that Atiku doesn't get close to the PDP ticket. We can't keep jumping from one old man to another. Let's all say no to Bubu Pro Max. |
RenaissanceGuy:I don't think so. She's one of the few ladies I respect, she's organised and coordinated. |
Write JAMB twice and got two consecutive admissions to study Civil Engineering at UNN. |
Invictuse:Read through you will see where I said that Atiku should go and rest. Enough of these old men. Let them retire with their loots. PDP will be foolish to even allow Atiku clinch the ticket. The old man only comes around during elections and vanishes to Dubai afterwards. These man should go and rest. |
Thieves everywhere. Ndi ori, ndi ori. No be snake swallow #20billion? Naija is irredeemable. |
It's a too way process. Yes, some of them have baggage too much for a man to carry. What about the men? Don't they have pasts? |
Invictuse:The old man should retire to Iragbiji with his loots and live his life to the fullest. Osinbajo is more capable. |
Dsalvo:I personally think that Tinubu will just be Buhari pro max. He will spend a greater part of his tenure on medical tourism. I also believe that Osinbajo, Adesina, and Fashola are much younger and more vibrant to take up the mantle from Bubu. Atiku is also warming up for the PDP ticket. Dem carry old men swear for us for this country. |
Dsalvo:You are getting this wrong. Nobody wants Yorubas to fail, many are drumming their support for Osinbajo, Adesina, and Fashola but not Tinubu. The man is old and would probably be another medical tourist like Bubu. |
Let the politicking begin... The race is on. Let the alignment and realignment begin. |
oladipuposadeeq:I'm telling you. The story doesn't add up. There's clearly a missing link. |
Let peace and love lead. All these lives being lost are unnecessary. The money spent on this needless venture could be channeled to something profitable like fighting hunger and poverty. |
"What is the essence of wasting time and resources on an elective national convention if the president and a couple of governors have constituted the exco in their spare time? We will challenge this legally,” he declared. Another chieftain expressed worry that President Buhari could have verbally directed those he wanted to be elected to the exco without committing ink to paper, the way he did. According to the chieftain from the northwest of the country, “I have seen the documents and my own worry is that the President should not have gone to the extent of appending his signature to the papers. This is the same signature he uses to conduct matters of the state and to now contemplate the same signature on documents that amount to illegality is demystifying the office of the President.” |
People will make noise even if it is their own brother that is given this position. So, someone must make decisions to end some of this back and forth at some point,” he said. Analysis of the documents sighted by DAILY POST showed that the President first endorsed a set of documents setting out zoning arrangements on March 1, 2022 while he endorsed Adamu and others on February 25, 2022. A party chieftain opposed to the arrangement lamented that a bad precedent has been set to weaken Nigeria’s democracy. He stressed that “President Buhari has the right as the party’s de facto leader to show the direction the party should go, but this aspect of one person sitting in a parlor and constituting the APC EXCO is bad news for democracy in Nigeria. This is a dictatorship baring its fangs and we cannot afford the luxury of silence. |

Documents sighted by our correspondent on Friday, showed that President Buhari personally endorsed all the plans and choices of candidates presented to him by a clique in the party that is reportedly made up of some northern governors and ministers in his cabinet. The documents show that the President has signed off on Senator Abdullahi Adamu as National Chairman, Senator John Akpanudoedehe from the south-south geopolitical zone as National Secretary and Senator Ken Nnamani from the south-east as Deputy National Chairman (South). The president also signed off on other positions that have been pinned down to geopolitical zones. A source close to Kaduna Government House, who craved anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue, confirmed the documents, saying, “Baba (President Buhari’s) endorsement of zoning formula and the candidate has closed any further debate on the matter.

The division in the All Progressives Congress (APC) deepened at the weekend, after some key party members discovered, via leaked documents, how President Muhammadu Buhari single-handedly dictated the composition of the next Executive Committee of the party.https://dailypost.ng/2022/03/04/national-convention-buharis-imposition-of-adamu-others-tears-apc-apart-documents/
